What an emotional roller coaster ride this place has been for me! I needed a reliable cost effective dry cleaning service here in Kailua when I moved from Santa Barbara, CA last March. Caesar’s is located close to the L&L and Kailua Pub so I decided to give them a shot. The Good: Pricing is fairly reasonable for wash and dry cleaning alike. There’s a 4 shirts for $ 16 deal that is cool. I wear a suit 2 – 3 times a week when I’m not in an aloha shirt for business(at least it’s not 5 days a week like it was on the mainland). I believe it’s $ 16 for my two piece suits. Service here is exceptional! The ladies here, all of them are customer service pros! I’ve had issues, don’t get me wrong, but they handled it well and I’ll explain in the bad section. They truly care about their customers! The Bad: Any type of business has it’s challenges. For cleaners it must be getting clothing to their clients cleanly and timely when promised. I had clothing that once was promised to be ready and didn’t happen. Things happen and I understand. As a professional, I believe in surpassing the expectations of my clients and associates when I conduct business. They saw I was unhappy with their service and made it right. Most recently I had a white Oxford that I picked up along with other items. I didn’t notice what appeared to be burn marks on the sleeve of that item until I went into the plastic to grab another shirt. I was horrified to see the marks! I grabbed the whole bag and brought it back to Caesar’s cleaners. I showed them the issue and their manager told me she would send it back. If there was still an issue, we would move forward to finding a resolution.(I was thinking, they’re paying for it… lol) It looked like it was completely ruined. I picked up the Oxford last night before I went to a party and it was perfect. I was completely shocked that they removed what appeared to be burns in the sleeve. 2 big thumbs up! The Ugly: Life happens! No one, no business is perfect. There are things we can control like the attitude we have and the quality of work that we do. There are also things that are not in our control. After receiving the impeccable service I’ve had here time and time again. There’s nothing I can report here to be ugly. I came by after work to pick up my dry cleaning and they were closed. Well, it was 6:15 and their posted hours show they’re open until 7pm, and the OPEN sign was on, but no one was in the store. There was a handwritten sign saying«will return in 10 minutes,» so I waited 20 and no one came back. I’ve used this dry cleaner a number of times, but this has got me questioning whether it’s time to find a new one.

I had a terrible experience NOT getting my coat cleaned before a trip to the mainland. I drop it off on Sat and was told it will be cleaned on Tuesday. I think«excellent» I leave on Wed. I get called on Tuesday afternoon that I can pick up my UNCLEANED jacket because it was rejected because it was labeled as 1 piece instead of 2. TOTALFAIL!!! I had to take it to the mainland and get it cleaned there. Oh, it was no problem for a real dry cleaner. I found them here so here I share my terrible story of worker incompetence. Explanations were not acceptable and they offered no solution to their mistake other then to have it cleaned by Friday or Saturday. Use at own risk. I will not use them again!
