We took our aching backs to Home World Furniture to buy a new bed. Duc Vo(Duke) took EXCELLENT care of us! He listened to our concerns and budget and explained the difference in technology and made us feel super comfortable and welcomed! We scored 2 new pillows and a mattress cover for free, a $ 320 value! Thank you Duc for taking such great care of us at a price we can afford!

This place is great! I walked in after 4 other furniture shops and was surprised. They had great looking furniture and way reasonable prices. I purchased not only the whole condo worth of furniture there, but it was delivered within 3 days. Toni the employee who helped me was incredibly knowledgeable, and very kind. She even sent me dimensions to my email for sizing. I have been around the island to many of the furniture shops, I say save time and gas. Just go to Home World you’ll be very happy

My husband and I just bought a sofa and love seat from HomeWorld furniture and we can’t wait for it to be delivered! Frank was wonderful and beyond helpful! Similar experience like other people. Couch is not in stock. Wont be here before thanksgiving but it will be here before Christmas. Ok lets order it. put a down payment. Now when it should be arriving we call and get oh… it might be here next year. We don’t know… WTF. Couch finaly arrived. Was supposed to be delivered on a Saturday. Was never contacted for an exact delivery time. Had to call them to find out that when they set the delivery date they didn’t save it in the computer. Will be here the following Wednesday. What a joke. I highly advise you if you looking for furniture do not buy it at Homeworld.

I have purchased furniture and bedding from this store many times over the years. I walk in to the store a couple weeks ago, they all act like they know me or at least recognize me. I see a sofa and love seat that I like(cost for the 2 around 5K). I ask for fabric samples to look at. I chose two pieces of fabric(each about 4X6) to take home to see if I like the colors in my living room. I go to check them out and am told that I have to leave a 200.00 deposit for the two fabric samples. I am like… are you kidding me? I asked«If I lose these two pieces of fabric that cost you nothing… I pay 200? I am told«yes». I walked out without them(staff didn’t seem to care less). I went to Lifestyles in Wailuku and discovered a whole new world. I cannot believe that Homeworld, after all these years, has absolutely no customer service what so ever! Thanks Homeworld it’s been a slice but there are other stores around now. Your loss! I have had delivery issues with HomeWorld in the past as well. They’ve never had to worry about providing good customer services because they“ve had little or no competition on the island. Do yourselves a favor and go to Lifestyles(or anywhere else). When I walked in to the Lifestyles store I was immediately greeted and treated like I was their best customer. When you shop at a store you should feel like you’re business is appreciated(lifestyles) not like they are doing you a favor by taking your money(HomeWorld). I will add that I don’t blame the sales people at HomeWorld since they are just following store policies set by the store manager. I think after years of shopping there I deserved better. This is not the first time I left this store feeling like they do not deserve my business. Aloha HomeWorld.

I went in a few days ago looking for a sleeper sofa. Marci was very helpful. She showed me a few different options and took her time showing me the different fabric selections. I had been to just one store before stopping in and I found the staff to be very rude, considering I was the only person in there I expected some better service. Marci’s assistance at HomeWorld was a breath of fresh air! Unfortunately, the wait time for a sleeper to get to Hawaii is a bit longer than I anticipated(about 2 – 3 months).

My wife and I have been shopping at HomeWorld for as long as we’ve been on Maui and we love it. I think every piece of furniture in our cottage and most of the furniture in our house came from HomeWorld. The people are great and the selection is wonderful.

Frank was a very well informed saleman. He really knew what he was talking about. He also explained to us that items take awhile to arrive to Hawaii. I know it does because I work for a large retailer and our shipments take ahwile too. I enjoyed my experience there. I will return there to purchase in the future. I also didn’t feel presured to buy. Frank even let my wife, son, and I sample their awesome massage chairs.

HomeWorld furniture uses a third party to make their deliveries, I purchased from them on 12/10/2013 and delivery was scheduled for 12⁄17 I even after our letting him know that we were furnishing for a rental and were leaving Maui a week later, At last delivery day came and we were running around taking care of last minute details and asked our contractor and his employees to accept the delivery, when the delivery guys come they find that the Queen sofa bed doesn’t fit in the elevator they leave. HomeWorld calls us and says the delivery will only be attempted via stairs if we sign a waver, which I promptly sign, the following day they return and the delivery men just stand around the sofa saying how big it is and are afraid it will be very difficult to take up the stairs, I have other furniture delivered and the other delivery guys accept to help none the less HomeWorld guy insists that there will be damaged I explain that waver had been signed, and I sign one for him on sight however he still doesn’t touch the sofa. At this point I don’t understand why there was no communication between he and the sales Manager at HomeWorld, and why he was sent back if he had already made up his mind that this delivery was impossible. The saving grace for us was that I had previously seen a sofa at Maui Life Style and I make all arrangements over the phone and delivery is promptly made the following day with in two hours from our departure.

When it was time to sell us the couch the sales person told us that it would be delivered to our house, between 1 and 2 weeks, but for sure before Christmas. After waiting 2 weeks we called and the same sales person, said there was a problem, but it may be first week of january, but he was really not sure at this point. We are very disappointed, when is time to sell, they lie just to get the sale.
