Bourbon cream sauce on Costello’s Chicken excellent. Melissa, the very vibrant sweetheart who runs the place, announced she made the tiramisu, and it was great. She recommended a a Malbec which was a fine choice with the chicken. Not a big chopped salad fan, so was questionable for me, but wasn’t too bad. Pasta(penne) was overcooked and probably not freshly made, a no-no. Pleasurable meal, though.

Ok. This is a weird one. Ate here about a month ago after a long hiatus. I used to eat here a few times each summer before watching single A ballgames but hadn’t been in awhile — not for any specific reason. We happened to be in the area, we were in the mood for pizza so we stopped in. A server said we could sit anywhere but there was only one clear four top and it was right on the traffic lane next to a table of eight all wearing Steeler jerseys. The rest of the tables and booths although empty, had not been bussed yet. I have Type 1 Juvenile Diabetes and my insulin injection pen was out so I was going to have to make a syringe. Never fun to do in the center of a restaurant(actually not fun to do at all) and we always try to get a booth in the back but at the moment, the only people in the restaurant were the Steeler fans, us and a drunk guy at the bar so no big deal. The server brought menus and ice teas. She was a little odd but seemed fine and then she began bussing tables. She came back and took our order which was two dinner salads and grilled calamari to start while we decided on pizza. She also topped off our teas but the pitcher spout touched the rim of our glasses with each pour which means it touched every one else’s glasses as well. Hate that. Also, Christmas music was blaring so loud we couldn’t hear each other and the TVs were playing professional bowling rather than NFL games. It was a Sunday afternoon during football season so that was kind of odd. After we ordered a large supreme pizza minus green peppers, another group of eight came in and the server was trying to figure out what to do. Since the tables and booths were now clean, I suggested that we move to a booth. She said«No your fine» and I said it was easy that all we had was tea to which she said no again. I said we would prefer a booth and she stared at me blankly with dead, confused eyes and walked away. She then came back with salads, a Greek and a Caesar salad. We ordered dinner salads. Before we could tell her it was wrong she raised a hand over her head, flipped her wrist and yelled buon appetito and walked away. The salad mix up was no big deal so we began to eat it. She then came over, put down a pitcher of tea and yelled buon appetito again. We went from annoyed to amused until she came back to our table, took our pitcher of tea, began filling up the teas at the Steeler table and brought it back to our table empty. Very strange. She then brought the grilled calamari. There were more mushy cloves of garlic than squid and it was not grilled. Just pale, rubbery pieces of non grilled squid in a pool of grease. She yelled buon appetito with another flick of the wrist and walked off. She then went to the Steeler table and started removing their pizza while they were still eating until they stopped her. 30 seconds later our pizza arrives(with green peppers of course) and she starts plating and serving the pizza. Salad, calamari and pizza all within about two minutes and we barely had a chance to have any salad before she tried to take them. She yelled buon appetito and began to walk away before I stopped her and told her we asked for no peppers. That blank stare returned. I didn’t see even a glimmer of life. I said never mind. She yelled buon appetito and walked away. Once we picked the green peppers off the pizza, it was pretty good but there are just far too many other places to go than to have a repeat experience like that. But then again, I cannot believe it’s like that all the time. Stick to the pizza, it wasn’t bad. I guess two stars… can’t complain about the pizza and that was what we went for. The rest was a little on the nutty side. Now I follow my wife around the kitchen yelling buon appetito until she throws something at me. Buon appetito !

This pizzeria only has one waitress that is actually professional, has good customer service and knows what she is doing. The blond with the curly hair. My family and I had her as our waitress at our first experience eating there. That is the ONLY reason why I am giving two stars. Tonight, was Kids Eat Free in Abacoa at all of the restaurants. My son and I walked in at 7:43pm, were seated by a young waitress with black hair. She was absolutely horrible. She came over to take the order. I ordered the«kids pizza». I thought it was just a slice of pizza. She did’t tell me it was a personal pie. I ordered a personal pie. She took the order at 7:50pm. I asked her when the food would be ready, because it was taking too long. She told me at 8:04 that it was ready. She didn’t actually come to the table with the food until 8:15pm. At that point, my child was antsy, hungry and ready to leave and so was I. When the food was finally brought over, I was given an attitude. No apologies for the wait. They just placed the food down and walked away. I was given no napkins. I had to get up and get them myself. This waitress lacks customer service experience and definitely should not be working in the service industry. She actually told me that«there is no reason to be nasty», when I was simply stating my frustrations as to why the food was taking way too long and frustrated about the poor customer service! I had every right to express that. I told her regardless of the fact that I thought the kids pizza was a «slice» or not the bottom line is, the food took way too long and I was told it would be brought out and was kept waiting with my 3 year old waiting to eat. I was also told by her that the kids apple juice was included in the Kids eat free and then she charged me for it. Of course, It’s only $ 1 and change, however it’s the principal. When I expressed my frustration to another waitress, she was also non-apologetic and did;t really seem to care. Her excuse was«It’s busy» Well, It was not too busy enough for three waitresses to handle 7 tables. Poor excuse for poor customer service. At one point, I looked back and saw all three of the waitresses and the cook, carrying on a conversation as if people weren’t waiting for their food! Such BS! I will NEVER return back to this pizzeria. Food is just okay.

I had a thin-crust supreme pizza. The pizza and service were excellent. Kid-friendly and a good value. A cut above many of the places I’ve eaten in Abacoa.

This place really hit the spot! My kids went crazy for the pizza and garlic knots and the waitress was very friendly and attentive. It was reasonably priced and had a cute fun atmosphere. I definitely would return to this great little restaurant.

Very good service and very good pizza. I’ve come here 3 times –each time for pizza and salad and each time was great. I’ve never had anything else. I would recommend this place for really good pizza and a nice antipasto salad.

Not too bad. Granddaughter has celiacs so the Gluten Free pizza was perfect. Call first to ensure they have it in stock. The soups were good.

I order takeout all the time. Their chicken parmigiana is rather good. Delivery is prompt(45 minutes)

This restaurant has good pizza and the owner and staff are friendly. It’s really nice to sit outside in the breeze looking across at the green space. You can walk to the fountain afterwards and look around Abacoa Town Center. Here is a picture of the fountain:

OK so I typically just write reviews on places you must try but after very bad, bland food which I cannot stand for, I am writing this review. So let’s start with the look of this restaurant. The look and appearance is very nice. Nice bar and nice outside seating area. The server was quick to come out and get our order although there was some confusion on how to use a coupon we had which at the end of our service was never applied and the manager never came out after we asked to speak to them. So obviously this was disappointing. The bigger problem here though was the food. They bring out rolls which are not warm or good and garlic heavy. Then I ordered the chicken Milanese while the wife ordered the Stromboli. My chicken was just a piece of very dry, bread and lemon flavored chicken on top of some lettuce. No sauce or anything. Horrible. The side of pasta was wet noodles with this horrible pasty like red sauce which had a hint of a ketchup flavor. I had to taste my wife’s medium Stromboli which was enormous only to realize it had no flavor what so ever. Crust was thin and there is really nothing I can say to even give it any positives. Again I hate writing bad reviews as I try to only focus on good ones but if you can’t make good food at any cost no mater what your budget is… Then I cannot figure out why you would be or stay open. This place needs a new chef and menu as it has a good location and the restaurant is nice looking.

This was date night with my husband and we chose Costello’s based on a coupon in our Entertainment book and wanted to be adventurous by not eating at the same few places we love. SO sorry we branched out on this one. I asked the waiter first off if the coupon for buy one get one was good on all meals and he said yes! So hubby ordered chicken marsala(which by the way looked like it came out of a hospital cafeteria) with a sorry looking side of pasta, and I ordered the stromboli. Both of the dinners were awful with no flavor and I consider us pretty big foodies and I get very disappointed when I go out spending my time and money to get horrible food. The check came and we were told we couldn’t use our coupon now. Wonderful, the food was HORRIBLE and now we had to pay for both dinners. The cost never affects our decision on a place but paying for a meal that was horrible(thought would be free so no biggie) and now we had to pay. Was told by another waitress that the manager would be right out to see us and guess who we never saw? I was seeing red at this point, so we just paid the bill and left. I know, I should have gone in to see the manager but I’M THECUSTOMER… I think MANY places forget this now. I come to spend my money, relax, enjoy a good meal and be taken care of… not to be ignored or told I’m in the wrong. I’m a business owner… customers are always right! This was THEWORST experience we have had in YEARS and we eat out at least 2 times a week. I was very disappointed that I could have had a meal I knew was great but tried this place instead. Sorry excuse for a restaurant that I would be embarased to own!

Last time I was at this place was probably in 2007. We revisited the restaurant on vacation hoping it was the same and to our surprise the food was not as good. I had a pizza because that is what I was in the mood for. It was very oily. But not terrible. My niece ordered a chicken caesar and the lettuce looked pretty wilted almost white. The garlic knots had tons of garlic on them, yet were not garlic-y tasting at all — i.e. not fresh garlic. I don’t know what happened to this place, but oh well. Will know for next time not to waste our time/money.

Nice crust! And it’s really nice to go and sit outside on a Sunday afternoon and enjoy beer and pizza.

So I am new to the area and I had never been here before. Last week I decided to try the lunch buffet. The place was completely dead when I walked in. Interestingly, the ambiance is very good and i thought it was an inviting atmosphere. The main problem was the actual food. Not only was the selection a disgrace but the food quality was also very below average. I even found multiple hairs in the chicken dish from the buffet. I almost felt like calling the health department. I was extremely disappointed in the presentation and quality of the food. Also there wasn’t much of a selection at all. I guess most of the clientele orders pizza or calzones when they come here. The pizza from the buffet was the only decent thing but it was still nothing to write home about. The 8.95 buffet that this establishment puts together would be better served as a 1.95 buffet. Why would I ever want to come back and try the entrees from the menu after experiencing this from the buffet? The service was attentive but the owners seemed pretty detached and uninterested in my overall experience. Maybe because I was by myself and I didn’t look like a big money customer. I am definitely not a complainer and this is the very first negative restaurant review I have ever written. I still left a good tip. Maybe a little too good.

Average and decent Italian and Pizza. Makes the grade for what you would expect in this area(which automatically sets the bar a little high). 4th star is for the Key Lime Pie. Holy crap! It sits unobtrusively, off on some obscure little corner of the menu — but it’s a real hidden gem. Better than the last piece I had INTHEKEYS.

They have great pizza and have carry-out specials during the week. We live near by and ride our bikes around the area, sometimes we stop for lunch and sit outside — usually friendly service. One complaint, though, my husband and I went for dinner one night. We were promptly seated, but that was it. No drinks, no service, almost like they were ignoring us. Another customer came in whom they knew and they brought him his drink without even asking, then someone on the staff went over and chatted with him for at least 5 minutes while we sat there with no drinks and ready to order. Well, we left. I don’t understand bad service nowadays — they weren’t crowded and I’m sure could use the business. We will continue with the carry-out(cheap and good!) and perhaps a bike ride lunch spot now and then, but I refuse to be ignored when I’m patronizing your business. Otherwise, I would have given 5 stars…

This place is just wonderful! The staff is friendly, service is wonderful and the food is spectacular. There is always something new to try, just ask. And, they make some really creative specialty cocktails. Great selection of liquor at the bar! Don’t pass it up. Great place for a simple pizza pie(which is amazing) or a fresh piece of fish with a gourmet touch. Highly recommend!

I freaking love this place! The fried pizza is unreal! I recommend the eggplant, as well. For after dinner, the espresso is dynamite and so is the pistachio gelato. Very friendly staff and professional management. They also have a full bar and pretty good wine selection for a family spot. If you live in Jupiter and want to grab a reasonably priced Italian dinner and some casual drinks, this is definitely the spot.

Went last night and had the black and white pizza. Great service and a very friendly owner. He came over and made sure our meal was satisfactory several times. Calamari was excellent, garlic knots garlicky(I like), Gelato –the bomb. If you are in Jupiter eat there now.

I’ve been eating at Costello’s for a number of years, usually stopping in at lunchtime. The pizza is top notch, best in Palm Beach as far as I’m concerned. The calzones are also pretty hard to beat here. In addition to the great food, the staff is always friendly and service is consistently fast.
