My 6 year old’s favorite restaurant. Great drink prices. Friendly staff. My mother said the egg plant parm was great.

HORRIBLE! It cost $ 23 for a specialty pizza and the chicken was disgusting, burnt crust, so rubbery where it wasn’t burnt and dry. We called to complain and was told there was no manager and Angel would not be back till Tuesday. That is bad customer service, over priced, and gross food. Save yourself the money, there are so many better options in Palm Beach Gardens.

Yep. Friday night again. Empty fridge again. So, into the coupon book again, and we find a coupon for $ 10 off of $ 30 at a pizza & pasta place in Palm Beach Gardens called Puccini’s Pizza. We pile into the car and head up the road just a small piece to the new(er) plaza just outside of the Evergreen development on Hood Road. There’s a handful of people sitting at 2 or 3 of about 10 tables in the tiny dining room, and the hostess/waitress invites us to sit anywhere we like. The menu is a one-sided, simple sheet with entrees on the left and pizzas on the right. In our house, pizza night is Tuesday, so we were here for Italian fare this evening. My daughter chose the sausage and peppers sub sandwich, and my wife and I decided to split a medium-sized calzone stuffed with pepperoni, sun-dried tomatoes, and spinach. We had actually planned on ordering a large, but the waitress recommended switching to the medium, or else we’d be taking much of it home. After a decent wait, our waitress served our meal, and the smell of the peppers from my daughter’s sub made me wish I had ordered it. The bread on both was crispy and toasted just right. I got to eat her last few bites when she had«hit her wall», and it was really delicious. You’ve probably noticed that I’m praising my daughter’s meal rather than my own. Nothing against the restaurant, because they prepared exactly what we asked for, but the sun-dried tomatoes just somehow clashed flavors with the marinara sauce. The sweet and the tart just didn’t compliment each other. My wife thouroughly enjoyed it, and to be fair, when I had used up all my sauce, and still had 4 or 5 bites left, they were better on their own, without marinara, than the rest of my meal was WITH the sauce. Even with bumping down to the medium, we still ended up bringing a piece home, the portion size is quite generous. Too stuffed for any dessert, but there were some Italian mainstays, like cannolis, tiramisu, cheesecakes, and others that looked good for our next visit. The place was clean, and the service was fast and friendly. With our coupon, the meal was a little over $ 30 after tip — a great deal for a good meal.
