Horrible experience! I was in Texas for the week prior to Memorial Day weekend with two younger business colleagues, and arrived around 10PM after a nice dinner in Burleson. To begin with they only had reservations for 2 of us, and made it sound like a big deal even though the parking lot was almost completely empty. The young woman in our group was given her room first, and before the second person in our party was checked in the woman returned to the front desk freaked out because she walked into a dark room and tripped over the maid’s cart, which for some reason was left in her room. They apologized and give her a new room. The young man with us checked in with no issues. I was the last to check in and upon entering my room all of the lights were on, the tv was blaring, and I could see towels on the bathroom sink — I said hello, is anyone here and heard no response. After foolishly taking a couple of more steps I could see the sheets pulled back and hurried out of there as fast as possible. In Texas, walking into someone else’s room late at night is a good way to get shot/killed. The clerk at the front desk insisted there was no-one in the room, but I know otherwise! After a couple of minutes she assigned me another, larger room at the same price. The next morning I shaved and showered, but on getting out of the shower I discovered there were not bath towels in the room. When I listed the number of issues to the clerk on duty that morning she simply apologized and while that was nice I reminded her that we paid full price for three rooms but got nothing close to what we expected. She finally said she would have a manager call me, which I correctly assumed was a ploy to end the conversation. After two weeks I called the hotel, asking to speak to a manager, and the person answering the phone told me I would have to talk to her. When I went through the litany of complaints I had, she told me she would need to get back to me because her computer wasn’t working — that was a week ago, and still no call. If you want a cheap room they will give you that, but you may or may not get shot, may or may not have towels, and may or may not need to deal with the maid’s cart, crummy/indifferent front desk service etc! There is a decent donut shop across the street, if that matters!

A clean, comfortable room with a comfortable bed. One certainly can’t complain about that. One could complain about the loud guests, although that’s typically beyond the hotel’s control. Oddly, though, both the sink and bathtub were missing the drain plugs.

Worst customer service imaginable! Do not stay here! I never will again. They cancel your reservation and rebook at much higher rate, upon check in. Will not bother to look at reservation confirmation you are trying to show them. They will charge you for reservations cancelled through La Quinta, days ahead of deadline, even when you present them with cancellation confirmation. Now, 1 night into a 2 night stay, with confirmation from LQ booking, they call me away from family event to tell me that I don’t have a room reserved tonight, so either come and get my stuff out of the room or stay«at a much escalated price». I called and checked with LQ reservations. The room is confirmed for tonight too! Always told«manager is unavailable» by rude lady at desk when there have been problems. I am waiting on call from manager now. DONOTSTAYHERE. ANYHOTELISBETTER!

I booked over the phone and the woman I spoke to seemed much more knowledgeable and mature than the one who was there when I arrived(shift change). The other girl was still very nice just didn’t know how to do certain stuff like look up rewards number or check charges. My room was nice but the thermostat was busted. Otherwise great stay and great prices

Very friendly staff and very nice and clean hotel(La Quintas can be VERY different from one another) but this one is one of the nicer ones I’ve stayed at. Our room was fresh, very clean and the pool area was nice and well kept. This is the ONLY hotel worth staying at in Joshua, okay it’s possible that this IS the only hotel in Joshua, but even if it weren’t I liked it much better than the La Quinta I made the mistake of staying at in Oklahoma because I thought it might be similar to this one… and worried about being jacked. My brother recommended it after spending a week there and I stayed three days. Also, pet friendly and great price. I think it was 189 bucks for three days and I was in and out all of the time taking nieces swimming and stuff but the desk clerks always greeted us with warm southern charm.
