Prepare to wait if you come here. And I think they do some early prep of their food, and once they run out, they’re out. This is because they wouldn’t make me any yams, but the server seemed to feel like it could have been done if the cook felt like doing it. All that said, the food was pretty good. I did eat all of my turkey sandwich like I was malnourished or something. But I like the collards and Mac’n Cheese at Marcy Macs better. So I’m not sure I’d be willing to drive all the way out there for a round two.

A friend of mine told me about this place. I thought I would try it out since it was more healthy place and a black owned business. I had to support it, lol. It’s located on the south side of town. It’s not the easiest to find if you’re not familiar with that part of town. I ordered the smothered turkey chops w/Mac & cheese and sauteed spinach. The portion size was good. The turkey chops were delicious especially the mac & cheese. I think it’s a great place but a lot of people might be missing out due to the location. I hope the word gets out about this place. I really enjoyed the food.

I ate at Turkey Chop when it first opened. I think I had the fish tacos. I wasnt really impressed. However, I knew they’d have something I liked so I went back and tried the Turkey tips with mac n cheez and collards… All I have to say is… Everything was on point! I havent had restaurant mac n cheez that ran a close 2nd to my grandma’s. Go! You’re sure to find something u like!(And Im not just saying that bc we spin at the same gym. lol).

We had a Groupon and decided to try the new restaurant out… there is no beef or pork, needless to say we weren’t disappointed! The mac and cheese and turkey tips are super awesome! The only con it’s not on the North side or downtown area!!! Please open a location in these areas!!! My friend said they had the bomb lemonade! I will be back when I’m on this side of town!!! Try this place you will not be disappointed!!!

I had the smothered turkey chop choosing sautéed spinach and mashed potatoes as side dishes. The portion was large and satiating. The vegetables were fresh and it did not seem like it was turkey. This was my first time eating turkey prepared in this manner. The turkey chop and vegetables were good. I requested lemon with my water and was informed they did not have any. Womp! Womp! The server admitted that they should have lemons, as they are often requested. This place is small and casual. If you are dining in just take a sit at an available table. Turkey chop is worth trying if you want something different!

I went here with two others and had dinner and really enjoyed the food. I ate turkey tips with mac n cheese and sweet potatoes. Loved the texture of the tips and the sauce was tasty. The sides were decent. The sweet potatoes were a bit too sweet for my taste but the mac n cheese was delish. The turkey steaks were prepared well, but they could hold off on putting so much of the herbs that they use to season it with. The meat speaks for itself. The service was very slow it took over 30 mins for my order(3 entrees with sides). I noticed that there was only 1 person working in the kitchen. That will not deter me from going back. The food was worth the wait. I will return to try the turkey burgers or turkey meatloaf. I am so happy to have a «no beef no pork» restaurant on the southside.

Went here with my sister today. Very close to my house and the food was excellent. I had the smothered turkey chop with collard greens, mac & cheese, and sweet potatoes. The chop was perfect! The sides were good too, although I don’t care for collards that have sugar in them. It’s not how I cook them but I understand that lots of people eat them that way so it’s not a negative. I will be returning.

I got a blingy recommendation to try out this restaurant. Its a franchise of Quench restaurant chain in Chicago. Already being familiar type of food they serve… no beef & no pork, I wanted to try something new. I ordered the Honey Bbq Turkey rib tip dinner with Cabbage and Macaroni and Cheese. The Turkey rib tips were charbroiled with the most succulent bbq sauce. Very tender and tasty! Macaroni and Cheese was cheesy and very flavorful! The cabbage was cooked to perfection! Turkey Chop’s environment was very relaxed and I was able to do work on my BLINGY MacBook while I was sitting waiting on my food.
