Excellent customer service for a used goods store. Guaranteed to find what you are looking for. There is some of everything in that warehouse. Who would have ever imagined. I definitely will be stopping in weekly from now on. P. s. Make sure you see the guy with the«funny mustache». He’s really cool & reasonable. I think his name is tony or Steve.

A true testament to «one man’s trash…» This place is awesome and I could spend hours there. Pros: the prices are right, there’s tons of merchandise and it’s all got a story, the owner is very helpful and friendly. Cons: the location is a little hidden and out of the ordinary, you truly have to dig for the diamonds in the rough, so this isn’t the sort of place you can spend 10 minutes in. You need to carve out an hour or so.

Thank goodness for Google Maps! We found our way and had a great afternoon picking around. If you need bed rails, I would certainly go here. Had a whole corner filled with rails, and a few bed frames. I wasn’t into sifting through clothes, but certainly had some fun books. Got a few pieces of silver plate at a reasonable price. Don’t expect to find sets, but if you are looking for pieces to complete a set, they probably have it.

Tony(the owner) is the sweetest guy you could ever hope to meet! The selection in his store is wild, you never know what could turn up in the heaps. I definitely spent an inordinate amount of time trying on faux fur coats and hats! You can tell this place is close to his heart and a second home. It seemed like he was always having a double conversation with his wife on his weatherworn bluetooth but that didn’t deter him from helping me pick things out of the many cabinets of treasure. He also has a huge selection of vinyl records and solid old tools. Thanks Tony! I’ll totally come again.

This is a true Garbage Pickers dream. Name the category and he’s got something. I bought a silly copper scoop for 50 cents that’ll be for my 1 cup a Joe machine. Chairs, crutches, books, records, hardware, lamps, old tables, dressers, and even a vintage piece or two. He seems like a stand up honest kind of guy so if something didn’t work I suspect he would tell you if he knew but given the sheer volume of stuff I would test something out before buying it.

Definitely tucked away over on the West Side; thank goodness for GPS. There is a parking lot but street parking was easy. I think if i’d been coming to get something specific or was a serious collector, I would have been in heaven. As it is, It was a fun experience but cramped and very dusty and the sheer amount of stuff is kind of overwhelming. Furniture and clothes are best bets. I ended up with a gorgeous dress for $ 3. I’d love to come check out the vintage lamps and bedroom sets next time I’m doing major decorating. Kitchenware/Housewares are usually my weakness. There were some copper bottom pans that were a complete steal but the hotel pans were going for almost 2x what I pay new at a restaurant supply. If it looks like a yard sale and feels like a yard sale, i’m expecting yard sale prices. Service was nonexistent. No one on the floor in the middle of a Saturday afternoon. I was there for a good 20 minutes and made my way through the entire space before realizing that the owner was in a back office, watching on security cameras. He was polite when I came to pay him and actually seemed surprised, saying«oh, you found something you want?». Yes, items were well labeled but shops don’t run themselves. With some improvements in lighting and service to justify the prices, this could be a JC gem.

I am so excited to find this type of thrift shop in jersey city. I went here for the first time yesterday. I got an amazing antique bread bowl a vintage military sac candles(brand new) some awesome canvas bags a pair of combat boots and some amazing Weiss scissors that are just a sharp as they were when they came out of the package(quite a few years ago). The owners name is tony and he is very generous with his price points. The shop is huge and has everything from vintage records to plumbing tools. There is a lot of vintage home goods and kitchen gadgets plenty of materials for crafts clothes bags switchblades furniture trunks etc. the location is actually cool to me being in an old abandoned warehouse on an off street in jersey city, but some may find it off the beaten path. He has a lot of cool stuff at more than reasonable prices. HIGHLY suggest this place. Go!

He has an assortment of bikes, tools, kitchenware, clothing, vintage lamps, and furniture. The location is off the beaten path but its convenient right off 440.

I love Thriftique. I stumbled across it while I was looking at thrift stores in Jersey City. It is packed with stuff when you walk through the door. You feel like you are digging for treasure when you go there. They have some of everything. The things are reasonably priced. The stuff is nice also. When you go there you don’t want to leave. The man who runs the place is very nice. I think he knows me by now because I am a regular customer. One man’s junk is another man’s treasure.

Very happy to have stumbled upon this strangely situated place! Such interesting and reasonably priced stuff! The guy who owns the place is super amazing, and happy to help. Got a great selection of clothing and various furniture and home wares. I got some radical clothes including this pair of blue suede shoes for 5 $. Damn, if I had the time, money, and space, I would decorate my whole life with things from this place!

It’s a strange location, being in a warehouse behind a warehouse next to a warehouse that’s now part of a college campus. Just go past that until you see some stray furniture and a pretty bitchin’ military olive drab trenchcoat and you’re there. Its a great thrift store in Jersey City. It has a good selection of vinyl, tons of books, bookcases and awesome little antiques. Not so heavy in the furniture department, but some good looking seats at least. There are also dozens of 35 mm cameras here displayed in the rear of the place. All very cheap and most in great condition. Tony is one of the owners and he’s a nice dude. Quality stuff at very affordable prices. If you’ve moved in and are in need of anything to help make your place a home then check it out.

What and AWESOME thrifty warehouse! It’s full of affordable household items, odd finds, and antiques. I got a 1980’s Ninja Turtle television that brought back a lot of memories and such a cool find! We got a few books and a nice recipe box with the recipes still in it as well! Very affordable place. Awesome thrift store! :)
