Kudos to the cook here, because the breakfast sandwiches were just incredible. Add the incredible coffee to this, and you have the perfect breakfast spot. My partner and I will definitely go again… great to have this place in the neighborhood.

This is my new favorite brunch place! Ordered the fresh choice and it hit the spot perfectly. Mimosas were well made, and my Bloody Mary was spicy as requested! Definitely recommend for the lovely outdoor patio and quality of both food and service.

Ambience is awesome! Drinks were great. All the food was great as well. Decent portion sizes. I would say two dishes per person would be perfect. Sweet potato fries — mayo was great and is what made the dish. Thai chili wings– came out really hot, wasn’t too spicy and great flavor. Meat lover pizza — better than expected, crust was crisp not soggy. Sliders– the bacon was great and the bread was nicely toasted. The summer salad was fresh tasting but the pears tasted like they came out of a can. Also the dressing had quite the kick and then mellowed out. I used that minimally. The veggie tacos were on point! I would def come back to get them — not authentic tasting but the flavor was awesome all the same. Drink was a little sweet but hit the spot.

Came on an extremely hot day, so it got uncomfortably hot as we sat outside but otherwise the outside area was a very nice area to hang out. The pretzel pucks were very good, came with four and came out nice and hot from the oven — very fresh! The Chipotle Chicken sandwich had good flavor and moist chicken. The Omelette with bacon and cheese was good, standard. The Huevos Ranchero was a bit bland, it’s served deconstructed with the tortillas on the side which made it hard to figure out best way to eat. Not as many kid friendly options on the lunch menu.

I had eggs here that were seriously overcooked. The yolk was almost burnt – definitely as dry as could be. The server offered to replace it, but I had already waited twenty minutes for a couple of eggs, so I just vowed to never go back. Good service, bad food. Any diner can do fried eggs, so I don’t understand why they can’t.

I had been tempted to try this place for a while and finally did today. I had a good experience and would definitely recommend anyone to try. I have almost all good things to say as you can see below… Pros: friendly staff, brunch menu goes till 3:00pm, free Wi-fi, all sorts of drinks(coffee, tea, juices, beer, wine), patio in the back, cool décor, all three meals are served Two Cons: food took a little longer than expected to come out and the breakfast sliders I ordered which looked and sounded so promising were served room temperature/borderline cold. I didn’t return them as I was too hungry but this was a set-back and the reason I couldn’t give 5 stars. I’ll try again, as this may have been bad luck. It’s definitely really good for the area though. Worth a trip down to Forest Hills.

Good spot, very small but decent atmosphere. Most importantly the food is always good.

Unilocalers beware! This place is highly overrated. Came here with the GF for brunch and had a horrible experience. My beer was warm, the service took forever. The huevos rancheros was small and not filling and the tortilla had holes in it and no rancheros sauce! The GF asked for an egg-white veggie omelette. What she got was a runny regular-egg omelette that was overcooked on the outside with week old tomatoes. Yuck. On top of that their credit card machine was broken so we he to wait forever just to leave the place. On the plus side the atmosphere was kinda cool. I would never go back.

Picked two stars, because Unilocal describes it as «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» Pretty much sums up the two brunches we’ve had here. The people and servers are great, the atmosphere is pretty cool, but the food just isn’t that good. The eggs benedict is served on two slider buns instead of an English muffin. Gotta give me an English muffin with my benny. I gave them another chance, but the french toast with nutella and banana was just slices of bread with nutella and bananas smushed between them. It tastes good because those are three great ingredients, but it’s not what you’re looking for when you go out for brunch. The huevos rancheros skillet looks like it came from a Barbie’s playset. Even Barbie would want a bigger skillet. Beans were plain, one fried egg, and two(?) small tortillas. The Simpli breakfast got to me once everyone else in our group was done with their meals. Server looked confused when I told them I didn’t have my food yet. And once I got it, it was missing the bacon. I asked for prosciutto on the side, but they replaced the bacon. It happens, I get it. Overall, Roslindale has a lot of great spots, and this isn’t one of them. The 4.5 star overall review might be a little high in our opinion. The atmosphere and the heated patio is great, the lattes are good, but the food just isn’t up to par with the rest of Roslindale/West Roxbury/JP.

We love this place in the warm weather where you can sit outside. Their bites are excellent lots of yummy choices. Today we came for brunch for the first time. Again lots of unique breakfast options. I got a strawberry-banana smoothie and built my own omelet. Smoothie was very fresh and delicious. My omelet was excellent. My wife went with the light snack Hot Oats and the Huevos Rancheros Skillet. She very much enjoyed hers though it should be called Huevo since it was just one egg :) Service was good and quick. Would definitely come back for brunch again and try some of the other menu items.

Great outdoor seating option if you don’t mind occasionally stopping your conversation for a passing train. Food is surprisingly delicious for an american café. Coffee is solid. Staff was very friendly the two times we visited and we look forward to our next visit

I always drive by this place and I’ve been meaning to check it out. I’m glad I finally did on Christmas Eve. It’s such a cute little place! I called in the early morning to make a reservation for three people at 11am. The hostess said it wasn’t needed since it wasn’t busy. When we arrived around 11am all the seats were pretty much occupied. The host asked if we were the ones who called earlier and seated us immediately at the table with a ‘Reserved’ sign. How nice of them! Our server was friendly and gave us suggestions on some items on the menu. I ordered the Wise Choice($ 6), which was two eggs, Applewood smoked bacon, cheddar cheese & truffle aioli served on sourdough toast. They ran out of sourdough toast and used Asiago bread as a substitute. I prefer the latter anyway! My friends each got a Wise Choice and The European($ 6) ham, Swiss cheese sans tomato served on a freshly baked house croissant. For the price, these fully loaded sandwiches were without a doubt worth it. These were so good, we decided to buy a 4th sandwich and split it between the three of us. Fast service and delicious food. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a quick bite. They even have an outdoor patio and serve liquor. I’ll definitely visit again in the summer time.

Delicious brunch at very affordable prices. I tried the Wise Choice($ 6) — 2 eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese and truffle aioli on sourdough toast. There’s a sriracha/aioli/wasbi(?) dip on the side of the sandwich that goes well with the sandwich. The sandwiches were so tasty that my friends and I each had our own and that got an extra one to share. There is a parking lot but it probably only fits 5 cars max.

The staff was very attentive. This was a plus, as we were starving when we walked in! There were four of us. We all had different meals and the presentation and taste were surprisingly impeccable. Who knew that a bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich could taste so amazing? Perhaps, it was the aioli sauce. One of my friends had the blueberry stuffed French toast– she’s not even a fan of blueberries but loved it! Also, the parfait looked like it came straight out of a magazine. We were definitely not expecting this from such a small establishment. There is very limited seating. We went on a Sunday, and from our seats could watch football on the tv’s over the bar. I’d definitely go back!

SIMPLITHEBEST The staff at this establishment goes out of their way for all of their customers. The layout of Simpli is interesting and relatively small. They have 2 different bar areas and another main area for larger groups. The menu is extensive in regards to coffee and breakfast. They do have lunch and dinner options. I came in on halloween day to do some studying and it was great to see all of the workers dressed up in their costumes! Simpli seems to have specials during the weekdays, can’t wait to check them out!

Went here for brunch yesterday, and there is no turning back. I loved the food, the service, and the ambiance in the patio area which felt like I was sitting in a friend’s backyard. I had a fresh choice sandwich with egg, goat cheese, arugula and lemon aioli which was hearty and delicious, accompanied by an iced mocha. We literally sat there for about four hours, taking it all in, and were encouraged to do so by the staff, who only enabled me by bringing more water and a free side of has towns when I asked about the delicious aroma I was smelling(the smell was nothing compared to the taste). Sigh… if only all brunch places could be so awesome. The only challenge of this place is the train that drives by creating a loud disturbance every 20 minutes or so. However, with all else considered, I choose to look at this as a sliver of charm that makes this place unique and distinct. ;) Will definitely be coming back to try the other offerings and cocktails!

Check this place out! This intimate spot is great to catch up with friends and family! We got to sit out in the back patio deck and choose where we sat. After looking through the menu, I got the veggie quiche with an everything bagel and coffee. Our food came quickly and had great staff tending to our needs. The patio does sit adjacent to the commuter rail, so don’t be surprised if you hear the MBTA running by every 20 mins or so, but that didn’t bother us! Overall this was a great experience, great food, people and cheap eats! 4⁄5 stars — would go back for more!

EATHERE! We came after a nice morning hike in the Arnold Arboretum and the food and atmosphere was phenomenal. There is a nice back patio, the cost is an exceptional value and very reasonable, and all of our accommodations were met. The breakfast sliders were delicious! I asked for eggs cooked differently than listed, which was no problem. One person in our party was GF and the staff accommodated her with no issues. The music was also excellent, which can make the mood of the meal even better! *They provide free wifi!
