Reve

Absolutely my favorite place for fun clothing. There’s nothing else in Jacksonville like it. Highly recommend to those that are tired of the same old thing. The owner is so helpful and stylish.

Reve is another one of San Marco’s string of boutiques, carving out its own little niche as the funkier, girlier one of the bunch. The clothes are all vibrantly colored and patterned, in playful styles and cuts that are very trendy. I feel like you should go into Reve and buy one key piece that you will wear with some more toned down items… like one of their awesome winter coats, paired with a classic black dress or one of their statement blouses worn with jeans and some classic heels. Their pieces are all pretty bold, so you don’t necessarily want to overdo it.
I actually really love this place. I think it offers a unique point of view on fashion and rounds out the perceptions offered from the boutiques in the San Marco area. However, I have two gripes. One, the people who work there are either awkward or they are snobs. I always feel like they don’t think I belong in there when I go in to shop. Two, the layout is so long and narrow that it is hard to shop inconspicuously. You are pretty much right up next to the workers no matter what, so you feel very «watched» the entire time. For a petty thief this would be a real issue. For someone looking to browse, it’s just uncomfortable.
I definitely think you should check this place out if you are looking for a fun piece of clothing or accessory to add to your wardrobe. It will definitely spice things up a bit!
