Junior’s Famous Sandwiches

Too bad I can’t get away with not leaving any stars, because I have absolutely nothing good to say about this restaurant. Maybe the only upside was that my kids actually ate their lunch.
I ordered a small Italian sandwich, which was gross. The bread was so incredibly dry and just tasteless. My husband ordered the «special» and he said it was the most disgusting sandwich he’s ever had. Coming from a man that loves sandwiches, that is sad.
The staff was incredibly rude while we were trying to order, and the ATM had no cash in it, so we had to pay with a check. Got charged full price for 3 cups of water. Insane. Must be really awesome water.
And when we were walking out the door to leave, I found a very large, still very much alive cockroach by the front door. Yep, we will never go back. I am shocked that this place is still open.

I can’t believe that there is not a review of this place. It has been there for 35 years. I just asked yesterday when I was getting my sandwich. I was talking to the guy in front of me. I remember eating here 30 years ago when I was working next door remodeling the place. Now the sandwiches and made right in front of you. You tell them how you want your sub/​sandwich/​hotdog. The place is nice an clean the people making food and happy to be here. The meat is plentiful and the is bread Fresh. Nice soft not dried out and hard like some places I have been to. I really like their meatball sub. There a lot of meatballs with spices in them. Not out of a can but then neither is the sauce. It’s in a big pot on the stove in the back. Heck ask them they will show you. Oh yea Junior the owner is usually there to. If not the place isn’t open. Maybe he has the only key. I don’t know but I do know that I’ll be there sometime this week. Maybe even yesterday and I liked it too.
