If you’re in a «pubby» mood, Lynch’s is a great spot! I’ve visited 3 times now as my favorite local bands play here!(The Band Be Easy and Chillula) The only problem is that 10:30pm on a Sunday or Monday night is way too late for me in my old age, especially at the beginning of a workweek. So, unfortunately, we reserve«Lynch nights» for once per month visits, holidays, and/or when we have the next day off! Great atmosphere, and the acoustics are great for live music! To my surprise, the bands sound even better here! Needless to say, we always have a good time and we’ll be back!

Dinner and dancing. Stayed for over 5 hours here and enjoyed every minute. Great crowd. Great staff. Great music. That was a Friday and they had a live band. Drinks are affordable. Would come back again.

I wasn’t a huge fan of their drinks. Ordered a cranberry and vodka and a cherry cheesecake shot and a melon ball shot. It all tasted flat and like plastic. However the service was pretty good. But we just couldn’t even finish our drinks and just left.

The bar was practically empty. We sat down and waited for 10 – 15 minutes just for a server. Three servers walked right by without making eye contact while cleaning off tables and delivering beer to others. It was like they didn’t even acknowledge is or want us there. Horrible service. Don’t go there.

The«bar staff» inappropriately touch women and then ask them to leave! And then the«security manager» aka manager cleared his buddy of wrong doing. Inter town corruption and molestation at its finest

Went to this place tonight with a group of 5ish. The beer was good, but we ordered the flights and they weren’t put in the correct order so we ended up ordering our least favorite beer. Got that exchanged after chasing down a waitress. Our original waitress switched us over to another waitress that«wasn’t as busy as she was». It didn’t matter because they both were horrible. The one star can be for the fish and chips and fish tacos tasting well. A couple friends showed up as we finished our meals… service was still horrible for delivering coors light and Miller. I mean it doesn’t get much simpler than that but they still couldn’t deliver a beer under 7 minutes!!! Needless to say we all left and I won’t ever be back.

I love this place. All the staff are amazing and the food is also great. You would not expect the food to be good based upon the atmosphere but it Is. They also stopped with the smoking until 9 so eating is more enjoyable. Great beer selection and a fun atmosphere. Live music and other things like trivia night make it our go to local spot in the beaches.

If you like tasty Irish pub food, Lynch’s is great. I love their corned beef and cabbage; best plate I’ve had in Jacksonville.(I like to add the spicy mustard, but don’t take too much of you’re not a mustard fan.) Their shepherds pie is awesome too. I was pleasantly surprised by their onion soup. It’s delicious! Note: My review is for the food. I’m not a beer fan. I think the worst part about this place is the smoke. It really brings the place down. Still, the food is surprisingly good.

I’ve come here a few times in the passed and always enjoyed the atmosphere. Yes, it is crowed but the bar moves quickly. Yes it is loud with the bands but that is Awesome! And the decore of dollar bills hanging from the ceiling is just cool! This beach bar should be on your list of beach bars to bar hop to for sure!

We ended up at Lynchs on a Thursday, about halfway through trivia night. Ordered drinks and grabbed seats at the bar. Thank goodness we did. By 9:30 the place was crowded. I’m guessing it has a lot to do with the live music every night. We were also there for most of NYE but that’s a whole world of it’s own. Drink prices are okay. I’ve found better and worse in the area. 5.50 for a crown and coke. Two things really bothered me here. 1– Once you open a tab, it can be hard to get a bartenders attention. This was especially worse if a bar back cleared your empty cup away. 2– Smoking after 9 pm. I know, I know. But when I walk out of a bar smelling like cigarettes, it’s obnoxious. I also had someone burn a hole in the side of my shirt. LIP isn’t a dive bar, so when the ash trays came out at 9, I was totally disappointed. I will probably be back to LIP as often as I am in town. The bartenders are all nice and I’d like to try the food sometime. The live music is a nice touch. I might just have to leave around 9. Which sucks. But, so does smelling awful.

Oh Lynch’s. I have been here more times then I can count, and it is almost always a pretty good time. I am rarely there during kitchen hours, but the food has always been stellar. As for the bar portion of this review that actually matters, Lynch’s is about as good as the beaches can offer. Even on Fridays and Saturdays there is a $ 2 draft, which is great for us college students. Pretty good craft selection as well, and the bartenders are always good. This is the place you go once you’re over the Ritz and still want to see your friends, and it serves that purpose well. They do a great job of booking some of the best local bands as well. It can be divey at times but overall fantastic atmosphere and easily the best of the ‘popular’ beach bars.

Lynch’s is always a good time. I’d say it is my favorite Irish Pub in town. It’s right across from the fishing pier on 1st street, which seems like an unusual place to put a dimly lit pub but it works for them. Lynch’s has all of the familiar trappings of an American-Irish pub: a wall full of beer taps(about 50), inexplicable dollars on the roof, shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash and a steady stream of drunk 20-somethings. Having said that, Lynch’s sets itself apart from some other Irish Pubs in town in a lot of ways. It’s not over the top with the Irish theme. You won’t hear corny Irish music unless it’s a special occasion. They book live bands every night at 10. The staff is awesome — quick, professional, and nice enough. The food is actually really good. The burgers are huge, and they have a lot of interesting topping combinations. They are usually around 9 bucks, but you can get a burger and any beer on the draft list for $ 10 on Wednesdays. A lot of the appetizers like the Scotch egg and the Reuben eggrolls are delicious. Deep fried, artery clogging, and delicious. Drink prices are reasonable. Like I mentioned, they have a huge draft list. They also have some interesting house cocktails. Like the Irish trash can that’s served with a red bull sticking out of the top, or the Irish iceberg which has a scoop of ice cream in a Guinness. The crowd is less pretentious than a lot of beach bars during the week, but it’s pretty much the same crowd here as any other beach bar on weekends. It’s right at the end of the strip of Jax beach bars, so parking sucks.
