We’ve been to Jackson a few times, but never wandered off the main street. This place is worth it! Great service and great drinks! Bartender prepared a couple of spot on lemon drops for me. We had already eaten, but the man next to me ordered tacos (that come from Mel and Faye’s) and he was raving about them. They did look good. Great vibe!

This bar has such awesome service! I was seated right away and ordered drinks/​food shortly after. The atmosphere is nice, more quiet than the restaurant next door, and there is good air conditioning. The drinks are wonderful and the food is tasty. This lounge bar is definitely a nice place to hang out in the evening! There is a billiards table in the back, it is close to two highways and the Best Western Inn.

El Dorado Hills, CA
Pretty cool little place. If you are looking for a simple cheese burger and a beer or maybe a cocktail, this place is a great little spot. Great customer service (we sat at the bar) and fast food service as well even though the place was packed.
Bg’s is hidden behind Mel’s and has the back door bar feel. Very «dive» ish.
Personally, I love dive bars and when I find my self in Jackson again, I will definitely return for a cold beer and the moo burger cheese burger.
It doesn’t hurt that the place has my initials.
