Mixed reviews… sometimes it’s great and sometimes not good at all. Whenever we eat there, our pizza’s are just right yet whenever we order delivery they come well done(burnt), pizza, chicken roll or beef pattie always burnt…

Just moved to area. Called for delivery. The young lady asked for my phone number 3 times before getting it right. She was starting to ask for my order for the third time when I told her to forget it, hung up the phone and tore the menu up. Food my be tasty if you get to it.

They should have kept this place closed down. It is filthy inside and the pizza is poor. I did not even know it was possible to make bad pizza!

They got shut down by the health department for having mice, not having proper cleaning procedures, leaving food out at uneven temperatures… Even though they opened up again. I am sorry, I won’t be going back to this place ever again.

Great pizza. They renovated this spot too. They used to have a night special, any topping pizza for 2 bucks if I remember, either way this pizza spot is great.

NOT good. So I went in here very sporadically since I was starving and it seemed decent from the outside. I had my reservations but ordered anyway. I bought a spinach pie piece and asked for some sauce on the side. It was absolutely horrible. The spinach seemed old and stale and the crust surrounding it was the same. Just gross to be honest. I wouldn’t try this place again because then when I walked out the grade said«pending». So never again. One item is that the Due Fratelli on Queens Boulevard in Forest Hills is actually quite good but this one isn’t.

Unilocal should require IQ tests before allowing these fools to write reviews. First off, let me make this clear right now. Out of everyone posting, I guarantee I’ve eaten here more in 1 week than most posters have in their lives. I am a fit and healthy guy that watches what I eat and prefer better quality and ingredients in my food whenever I can(dont we all?). Due Fratelli has time and time again proven what an amazing neighborhood restaurant should be like. Fresh ingredients bought from local markets, pretty good prices, and a very warm and knowledgeable staff. Sure, I go here every two days so I know them more than that average person, but I also don’t nitpick on every little thing. «OMG the chairs on my table are bothering me and giving me anxiety» or my personal favorite«They are all spanish in an Italian restaurant!». At least TRY to hide your stupidity, people. Welcome to Queens. I’ve had almost everything on their huge menu. I’ve even suggested that they cut half of it. The cook is a genius, I tend to either order personal pies(that way its freshly made right then and there) and stuff on the dinner menu(you need to try the pastas and the greek menu) and it never runs me over $ 12. Delivery needs work of course, but consider the things the guys have to go through. I live a block away so I pick up my food, but others commenting here order delivery and live a few blocks away. Get your lethargic ass up and pick your food up if the timing bothers you that much. Nonetheless, I agree the delivery time could be cut. Other than that, the food is amazing. Try it, and I guarantee you’ll find something to love. Great meats, great dessert cakes(Tres Leches!), and they even serve beer! Tell em Jas sent ya, and enjoy!

We live really close by. It’s basically one block away. But on those lazy days when you don’t want to cook, it’s my go-to Pizza/sub place. To be honest, I don’t like to order the slices that are displayed only because i’m a germaphobe. No matter how clean people are-you can’t stop every fly from landing on food. And that’s why I don’t order the display items. When we order out-I ask to make a specialty pie so its freshy made in oven or a philly cheese steak or Buffalo wrap. Huge menu and they have specials.

This place deserves more stars! We’ve ordered delivery twice this week, they were bang on time! The food was hot fresh and delicious. We had the steak, the vodka fries, garlic knots and the crab patties– all delicious! Going to be regulars here for sure!

Two stars because the actual food is good. But if you want to eat it, i suggest eating it there because their delivery takes forever and ordering for pickup over the phone is apparenrly too mich for them to handle.

Pizza at its worst. Way too much sauce, cheese & pretty any topping you ask for. Ever heard of moderation?

I was hesitant to try this place because of the reviews, but it was late, I was hungry and I needed to carbo load for the BK half. It appears that their primary source of business is delivery, then take out, then dine-in. They were busy so the service was slow and a bit chaotic. We sat down at a table for two that had too many chairs. It made it awkward to have to sit next to a random chair that had no place to go. All the tables had too many chairs. It was weird. It is even more weird that I’ve devoted so much text to chairs in this review! Eventually our food came after what seemed like forever and they thought we wanted it to go, so they then had to re-plate it. The food itself was mostly good… spaghetti(yay) and meatballs(meh). The meat ravioli was a winner. The man who served us was apologetic and comped our beverages. So overall a win and would definitely go back.

Not sure why this place has so many bad reviews. I live around the area and have both gotten dine-in and take-out several times. The food is pretty good, wouldn’t say it is the best or the worst though… just a little above average. It’s also a little pricey but they give huge portions so it makes up for that. The only bad thing I have to say about this place is the wait time. I always order soup from here but it always takes 30+ mins. but at least they’re made to order! They also have gyro/other Greek platters here which are good to satisfy cravings. The wraps are alright. Get the calzones, garlic knots, and pasta!

Don’t understand why they get only 3 stars. The décor here is quite cozy and decent. Service is good. There are various choices for pizzas and pastas. I haven’t ordered delivery but dining in here was a great experience.

Just mediocre! Nothing special. Can’t even say that it was a GOOD pizza. Also they are using worse ingredients for deliveries then in the shop, like tomatoes…(I got green tomatoes with my margarita pizza((((sucked a. s!

The only reason im even giving this place any stars is because the décor nice for a pizza joint. Its suppose to be italian but every single person who works there is spanish and barely speaks english. Horrible customer service, they always make me feel uncomfortable. They make up different prices and the pizza garbage despite the many different flavors. Go next door to gustaso if u want REALGOOD pizza. Also are they serious with their prices? To charge more for mediocre food is just unacceptable.

As of today(1÷31÷14), Due Fratelli has a 2 ½ Unilocal rating. If we’re talking about best pizza in Jackson Heights/Elmhurst my vote has to go to these guys. Tonight I ordered a Grandma Pie and it was exactly what I wanted. This is brick oven pizza and artisanal in taste and preparation. Yummy! First and foremost, the crust was crispy and cooked through perfectly. They use fresh mozzarella and contrary to many other posts, their sauce is really tasty, fresh, and homemade. Also lots of fresh garlic and basil to round out this formidable Grandma pizza! Price point may be a few dollars higher than other pizza options in the neighborhood, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. There are some other good things going on here. Lots of pizza varieties, yummy-looking desserts, and a full Italian menu. From what I’ve read, their other menu options are disappointing so I’d recommend sticking to pizza. They have a nice ambiance for a pizza shop and serve beer too if you want to eat in. I’m really glad I finally gave these guys a shot. This is my new«go to» pizza place in the neighborhood! Happy eating.
