The guys working there are super nice but pizza crust is just terrible. I live few blocks down and this is the closest pizza place to me but I finally gave up on it. The crust is awful, very spongy, thick and gooey. I don’t know why it’s so hard to make a decent crust. I’ve ordered mushroom pie and got only few mushrooms sporadically placed. There are better pizzerias in Jackson heights to choose from. do yourself a favor and order somewhere else.

Staff is very friendly and the food is good when you’re really hungry. Typical Queens food.

The price is superb: 2 slices plus soda for $ 4.50 only. The pizza, on the other hand, is too bland because of the tasteless sauce. Still an OK place for a quick meal.

I’m a regular customer of Pizza Boy II but because of a bus demolishing it is being renovated so I ordered a civilian pie and a hotel of coke from Pizza Boy and received just the pie so I call back to inquire About my coke and the man on the phone responded«well we didn’t charge you for the coke» but I ordered the coke and I told the man to please deliver the coke and I’ll pay for it… I waited another hour and half by this time I was furious and told the guy to send the coke again and he responded with a joking tone its on its way. I waited another hour and when I called back the place was closed. I called the next day and asked for the manager and told him the story and he agreed that it wasn’t nice. ******word to the wise make the guy on the phone repeat the order at least two times and make sure he understands your order******

It was my go to place in Jackson Heights, but they recently started to make their slices smaller. Thus, the value was gone and I tend not to go there much now. They are open very late so that’s good.

This shop has been around since I was a little brown tyke being towed around by Mom in Little India. I recently grabbed a couple of slices here after over a decade. The verdict: The pizza isn’t as good as it used to be, though the slice had its moments. The tomato sauce was exceptionally sweet and tangy, cheese was fresh with a good bite to it, and the dough was tender crisp. The reason I can’t rave about it is that they didn’t put enough of it on the pizza! I like a saucy, cheesy slice and as a New Yorker come to expect it. Good to know if you’re not familiar with this location is they only have 3 tables and some standing place, however it’s never too crowded so don’t hesitate to eat there. BTW, the guys that work here look ridiculously happy that it may brighten your day or even make you feel like your slice tastes better than it does.

I remember getting baby pizzas from here all the time when I was a kid. I got one for the sake of my childhood yesterday and I think it still tasted as good as I remembered. The sauce was tasty and it had lots of mozzarella cheese. Definitely worth the low price of $ 4.

Listen, Unsure what the fellows below are saying. But I LOVE the slices there. It’s so good. Cheesy, perfect. It’s what a New York slice is suppose to be. It’s great pizza. minus 1 star as there aren’t many seats! Great after a late night out, great for a quick bite!

Great local spot. New york slice, open late, cheap and friendly. Minus a star for not having Italian Ices any more! Not as good as years ago sure but still a staple in the neighborhood.

The pizza is good… but no where near as good as it used to be. The original(Italian) guy who used to supervise the joint left it under the not-as-capable hands of… the«guy that used to help him.» But that being said, it is still one of the better spots in the area.

This place is like cat nip for kids, they love it, it makes them happy, does nothing for me, but it’s not FOR me!!!

A very small pizza place, however in a neighborhood that has many pizza places this is one of the worst. Food: .5 Stars The pizza is horrible quality with no flavor. It’s hard to explain the taste because I Haven’t eaten therein a few months after a horribly long run of sub par slices. I don’t know how they manage it, but their baby pizzas taste worse than the regular slices. The only saving grace is the garlic knots and the pepperoni pinwheels which are rather good. The pizza used to be better when I was a kid(but then again I probably didn’t know any better) Service: 2 Stars It’s a pizza place and it is meant to be a «fast food», but more often than not they don’t listen to what you say. If you ask them not to reheat something they will put it in the oven 50% of the time. Overall: 1 Star You can find many pizza places within a 5 block radius that make a better pizza than pizza boy. Plus I find their cleanliness questionable especially considering how limited a space they are working out of.

Wow. Just like the other reviewer I was hoping the pizza was like it was years ago. I had eaten this pizza as a kid 15 years ago and here and there up until today when I ordered a pie to be delivered. not only was the pie not even a circle(not that big of a deal) the delivery boy talked trash to me as he walked away in spanish thinking I did not understand him. This place has gotten really sloppy.

If you’re not a regular or a personal bud you will have to wait for your pizza. I ordered a simple slice, but three separate subsequent customers got their slices first, because they were buds with the server. One customer buddy, promising to pay the next day, even got his slice for free. The pizza itself is so so. I must have been left with the old slice, after the good fresh ones were given away.

I am partial to Pizza Boy because I grew up eating here. The usual routine was picking up a plain slice with a Snapple or Pepsi on the way home from school, slices were $ 1.25 in the late eighties and early nineties but when I went back to the old neighborhood, the quality has fallen off from what I remember. The pizza is okay at best, but it’s still not a bad deal, 2 slices & can of soda for $ 4, and it’s better than any other pizzeria in Jackson Heights. Stop by for a good slice of NY pizza and a beef patty if your in the neighborhood but I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit here.

Love this place. Their sauce is delcious and my favorite items are the essentials — sicilian slice and garlic knots. Don’t forget to ask for the side of sauce — they tend to forget. Really nice guys run the place and they’re very reliable. $ 8 minimum delivery but definitely hits the spot.
