My co-workers went here and I ordered the Wednesday Special — Alfredo Pasta with grilled chicken, which comes with garlic bread. When they brought my order back, it was missing the garlic bread. I called and spoke to a Christina and she said I could come back on a Wednesday and they would give me my order for free, since I was unable to just drive over to pick up the missing item. I ended up going almost 2 months later and they had no issues giving me my order for free! They’re customer service is exceptional and on top of that, the food was delicious and so much better with the garlic bread! I will definitely have to come back to try one of their meatball sandwiches. On a side note, going inside I was pleasantly surprised at the atmosphere of the restaurant. Very clean and welcoming.

My hubby n i are from long beach. Santa fe was a staple. Atleast twice a week. Either i was picking up prepared sandwiches or pasta dishes or just pickin up sausages, sauce and rolls. To make my own We bought a house up here in the hills and boom no more santa fe. Untill they opened one! yeah! So buisness as usual. This one reminds me of the one by target… Very café like. Not like the Anaheim one(the orig. And personal fav) but thats cool. Same stuff. I just like the old one.

It’s all in the sauce, yes? I ordered the beef ravioli. I didn’t notice that it came with 2 meatballs, next time I’ll try the cheese ravioli just because that’s a lot of meat! The sauce is delicious, all of it was. Fresh pasta, home made everything. I’ll have a lovely lunch tomorrow because half of the portion was plenty. For $ 7.49 it’s a steal! My husband devoured the pork sandwich he ordered and we shared a cup of marinated mushrooms and artichoke hearts. They have gutted that property and created a beautiful space with interesting products and pleasant seating. It feels clean, warm and fresh. Everyone working there was friendly and helpful. I wish that they would stay open just an extra hour, til 6:00. A lot of people in the area would love to stop and pick up dinner, but don’t get off work til 5, and currently that is when they close. Seems like a missed opportunity to me.

Some of the best Italian food in the US comes from Santa Fe Importers. This is as true today as it was in 1947. I am a third-generation Santa Fe customer(the original Long Beach location). My expectations were high on the day of my visit. Was my experience all I had hoped for? Let’s say that times change and it’s hard to keep quality perfectly consistent for 60 years – but Santa Fe has obviously tried very hard to do just that. My pizza had fewer toppings, less cheese, and less sauce than it did in 1989, for example. The quality of the ingredients may also be just slightly below the gold standard that it was back in the day. But still, Santa Fe blows away 90% of the Italian food I’ve ever had. I’m glad they’re here.

1st time there I tried the lasagna. It wasn’t bad. I am not really a sausage person and the lasagna had sausage. I will go back to try their sandwiches.

This deli is near home, so the convenience is a plus. This was our first time ordering. I got the Special sandwich, which was basically a combo. It was 10″ sandwich w/ham, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomato, & onion. It tasted good, but I don’t get too excited about sandwiches. Again, convenience is a factor for now. I also ordered a side of the antipasto. It was a bit too salty for my tastes. Not sure if that’s the norm, but it’s not for me My wife ordered the lasagna. It was a perfect size portion and it comes with one meatball… meatball was an odd side, but no complaints. I sampled a bite of both and they were pretty good. I liked the sauce for sure. My wife liked it because she finished it. I will have to try one of the pasta dishes next time, to see if it hits the spot. Definitely will return.

Great service, food, and prices! The general manager saw me struggling to decide what to have, he suggested the meatball sandwich and even gave me a sample to try!!! I’ll be back

Nice little shop, it has mini market inside while you line up to order. The portion is small compare with the pricy menu, and the taste is like the airport style foods

Delicious! My husband and I both love this place. Not only do they have delicious food, they also sell a lot of imported Italian goods: olive oils, vinegars, capers, cookies, juices, drinks, dried pasta, sauces, even seasoning. I’ll foresee myself stopping by often. This is definitely an anomaly for Irwindale. I’m wondering why they opened in this area, but I’m glad they did. A serious gem in this part of the neighborhood. I am hoping once they get grand opening out of the way and get consistent customers, they’ll change their hours to service dinner folks. If this place closes, I blame all of you for not going.

Great food… Great staff and right up the street from the office. There aren’t many choices in Irwindale except fast food… so happy I found a new place for lunch. Interesting soft drinks/waters etc. and the little store has nice products as well

I’ve been dying for This place to open! I work out of an ambulance substation on the same lot and they were doing construction for weeks. The set up needs a little work. The line wasn’t too long but the way it’s set up inside makes the line a headache at times, as well as a bit unorganized(Literally first week of opening so it will get better). I ordered a caprese salad and an antipasto salad(on a strict diet) BUT I must say I enjoyed both together. Antipasto alone was a bit much(salty) so I mixed both together to settle it. My partner had an Italian sausage large sandwich. His review(since he doesn’t have a Unilocal account) Had the large Italian sausage and pepper sandwich today. Amazing. Sausage was great, the peppers and onions were grilled to perfection. And the bread, a thing of beauty. Delicious sandwich and affordable price. Will definitely be coming back. As will I! Give it a try!

This place has imported Italian products and Deli items. I ordered a Lasagna with Meatball, Garlic Bread, Antipasto Salad and it was good taste, Antipasto was little salty side as usual. Meatball is home made it was tasty too. I also had a fruity Sanpellegrino soda, it was very good. People were nice too. They prepare the food fast so even busy lunch time will be good. There are more Italian products so I will try another product next time.

Glad something new has opened up around here. I figured I would give it a try and see how it was. Well I ordered the Italian chopped salad and I am so so on it. The flavor is really good specially with the marinaded mushrooms however what kind of bummed me out was the size of it for $ 8. Its a hand sized bowl full of plain romaine lettuce and a little scoop of the the meat/veggie topping. It definitely should be quite a bit bigger for $ 8 specially being mainly plain lettuce. I can go across the street to Juan Super pollo and get a huge super chicken salad with avocado twice the size for $ 6. But I will be going back to this place as everything else looks good and fresh especially their olive bar. Also lots of unique little snacks in the shop as well.
