For some reason it didn’t matter to them that their soda was flat. They insisted on charging me anyway. I had one sip. In fact, I drank all of the water they brought me afterwards. There are so many good buffets in the area I won’t waste my time or money on this place ever again.

Food was not very satisfying. If you have a choice between here n somewhere else go somewhere else. Rags that they clean the tables with smelt horrible.

Have you seen the movie, Charlotte’s Web? The original? Remember when Templeton the Rat talks about the fair being a place to glut? I felt like I was him for my lunch! Uno Super Buffet was a literal feast of food, deserts of every shape and size. There was so much food, so many different kinds and so much more coming out of the kitchen hot and fresh you didn’t know where to start! Fresh fruit, veggies, stir-fry, eclairs and ice cream for desert, the flavor combinations were endless! The location itself is huge and holds a ton of people. For just under $ 10 a person, you can’t beat the price anywhere! The buffet line is kept very clean and their staff are very attentive and quick to find you a table. They even have a Sushi chef making rolls to go with your food. So the next time you are in Irving and headed north on Belt Line, stop off at Uno Buffet and glut, glut glut glut!!!

About as good as it gets. Wife and I go there regularly. Huge variety. Excellent chicken wings. Seniors get a nice discount.

It’s a buffet! What more can I say… the food selection was typical of a buffet. Not sure how to eat cook peel and eat shrimp but I have no reason to return in order to find out. The ice cream station was really popular with decent toppings… I tried a few chicken ‘items’ but I think they used too much heat along with too much grease because I could barely bite it. Needless to say, the sushi was the best choice for me!

I remember this location as Furr’s. You know the buffet style family dining. Now it’s a super size ALL-YOU-CAN-EAT Chinese buffet. If it’s your first visit, walk around the buffet before you start making your selection as they have several options. There’s a variety of food, you must exercise self control. I don’t like them taking my drink order before going to the buffet because they leave your drink on the table unattended. I always tell them I’ll order when I return. The staff as always been friendly and they stay on top of cleaning/clearing your plates when finish. There’s lots of fruit, desserts including ice cream. If there’s a wait it usually goes by pretty fast. If there’s a wait, that means the buffet bar is going to be busy… watch out for children.

Well sushi is way below par. Food is ok for a buffet. But I had to atop aerving my dessert and my mothers because the boy running the plates was not able to wait until we finished. He wanted to add plates to the 3 piles already there. I guess he never heard yhat is a service industry and that the customer pays his salary. Place was extra cold for no good reason. Our server was good. She would deserve more.

Not a fan of Chinese food at all… but after some prodding from a co-worker decided to give it a try. was definitely suprised. Looked for the few dishes I’m familiar with… fried rice, sweet and sour chicken, and orange chicken, and it was all good! Was surprised to find tamales and bbq there also. both were good. Will most definitely return. But sticking to what I know I’ll like.

Food seems old and stale. Usually full of families with screaming children that run everywhere. Service has been virtually non-existing the times I have been there. Take your money elsewhere.

Uno 1 has totally surprised me. I’m not the biggest fan of buffets. Mostly because it’s hard to keep the food quality high on a large scale. Food tends to be lacking seasoning and something’s not as warm as they should be. With all that said, I utterly enjoyed my first visit, so much so that I’ve been back on several occasions. One of the things that have kept me coming back is the large variety of dishes on the buffet; Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, seafood, ribs, wings, and more. There’s something for everyone. The service has been very good during my visits. The hot foods are hot and the cold foods are cold. That’s especially important with the shrimp & oysters. All the foods I’ve had have been seasoned well by buffet standards. Great place for the family or lunch with the co-workers, there’s something for everybody.

This buffet is probably one of the best around ! Great selection of dishes and not just Chinese food ! You can have a little Chinese, Mexican, Soul food, Bbq, sushi and more ! Not saying everything is good, but for the price you can’t beat it !

Pros: Great Hibachi grill, attentive staff and timely removal of plates from the table, Blue Bunny ice cream area with staff member serving. Cons: Sushi sitting under lamps, took them awhile to clean up the mess made by patrons at the buffet area. Also, the buffet with drink is pretty pricey at dinner time. This is your typical Chinese buffet offering a variety of Chinese dishes as well as some American fare. Use common sense when coming here: get your main course by choosing fresh ingredients to take to the Hibachi grill, stay away from the sushi that’s sitting out at room temperature for who knows how long as well as dairy products which are also left at room temperature(i.e. cheesecake and banana pudding) and you will leave satisfied and less likely to suffer a stomach illness later on in the day. :)

Okay buffet… the table service was great… but the buffet management is horrible. I stepped in a little before 9PM and asked them if they are getting ready to close… they said no. so, went in for buffet… in minute, they started removing items. Had to rush and eat what ever I could and run out… Don’t go in after 8:15… not worth it! And not much choice for vegetarians!

3 or 4 of us from work will go here at least once a month for lunch and we DESTROYIT! This is one of the best buffet’s for the money and they even have Blue Bell ice cream for dessert! After we go on this gluttonous rampage we’re usually useless the remainder of the day though. That’s the only downside.

Appetizers were pretty good… liked the Hot & Sour Soup. Egg rolls were just okay. Crab rangoons were super tough. Entrée items were not good at all… at least what I got. Buffalo wings and peel & eat shrimp were good… As mentioned in other reviews, service is excellent. They keep tables clean and turned quickly. Best thing is the variety of ice cream! Got a bowl full of mint chocolate chip! Very good!

Decent for the price, but don’t expect terrific food. It’s a $ 10.99 per person all-you-can-eat dinner buffet, so «it is what it is.» What we liked: LOTS of food selections — hot, cold, and dessert. Sushi, soups, hibachi grill, salad bar, pizza, ribs, fajitas, Asian fare, etc Some items are good like the noodles, salt & Pepper shrimp, garlic shrimp, spare ribs, and crab Rangoon. What we didn’t like: some items are just plain ikky :-). It’s an inexpensive buffet, so that is to be expected. My worst item that I tried was the coconut shrimp. The hubby said his worst was the pepper steak. Great place for a cheap dinner date.

I thought this place was OKAY. pretty good for a buffet but I’m definitely not coming here for the sushi. Not sure why many reviewers said that the sushi was good because it was not fresh and it definitely looked very strange with blue sauces on top of it. However, the rest of their food was pretty good. They had a HUGE assortment of different Chinese dishes and American dishes. They had chicken cooked about 8 various ways, beef about 4 different ways, shrimp cooked 3 different ways, 2 types of noodles, 2 types of fried rice, they had fried catfish, frog legs, wings, fries, soups, tamales, sausages, ribs, and a bunch of other things. They also had a variety of seafood but I didn’t want to touch those. The oysters were pretty nasty looking and the shrimp looked very dry. They also had a hibachi grill where you can pick out the meat and veggies that you want to eat and they cook it right in front of you. The desserts weren’t very appetizing as they all looked dry as well but they did have a blue bell ice cream cart which was delicious! It only costs $ 10/person for dinner so if you are wanting a filling and savory meal I would come here but I wouldn’t go here for seafood or sushi. I would also advice to come here when its busy so that the food gets replaced often because when we got here fairly early, we just had food that had been sitting there for a very long time and they didn’t replace it until it was empty.
