The food was fine, but the bathrooms were disgusting and the place worn out overall…

Place is filthy. Food all over the counters and salad bar. Place had a wierd smell and just had a creepy feel. Stains on the ceilings. Wallpaper peeling off in the bathrooms. Carpet dirty and stained. The food at least the salad was good. The pudding tasted bland and tasted like it came out of a can.

This is a very nice place, you don’t need to wait in order to start eating, my favorite is the salad bar, other than the salad bar the rest of the menu is not so special, I would recommend this place if you don’t want to gain weight and live healthier.

Arrived at 11:15 on a Sunday morning. The soups had no flavor. The salad had no flavor. The wait staff all enjoyed the same booth for 30 minutes playing on their phones. The booths are torn beyond use in half of the resteraunt. The only reason to come here is if you need a cheap low carb meal and flavor and service are not a part of your dining requirements.

Place is a bit weird. It is in a strip mall however it is set aside from the other stores. Kind of behind On the border. You walk, in and see it really needs some paint and is in desperate need of repair. You have to pay before you go to the salad, but there was no one at the register and the register is not very obvious. The food is ok… nothing spectacular. I liked their other locations better than this. They had no rolls and the soups were TOTALLY watered down!

I’m sad to write this review because I used to come here all the time growing up and enjoyed every meal, but I couldn’t rightfully give a good review after my visit this time. This review has nothing to do with the taste of the food… just a lack of hygiene in the establishment. When I got here I used the bathroom, which had no soap. Thinking this must have just happened, I told cashier. My mom then went to wash her hands and there still wasn’t any soap. I then saw multiple servers use the restroom and 30 mins later as I’m writing this review there is still no soap in the women’s restroom. When I asked for the managers contact information the server pointed to one of the women I saw leave the restroom during this period. Take this for what you will. I don’t plan of visiting this place for a while.

I really don’t have a problem with this place. It is what it is. I basically come here for the strawberry shortcake though. Today they had no forks or soda. The soda machine was broken and the forks were brought out 10 minutes later. Either way, it’s a buffet. I think their soups are gross, every single one of them. And their taco stuff looks horrendous. Basically i eat the salad, blueberry things and the strawberry shortcake.

I don’t think Souper Salad is going to be around in the future. Their competition snappy salads beats them any day. This is not the place to go if you’re looking for a healthy fix. A lot of their salad bar items are unhealthy. There is no quality is the product and their dressings are nothing unique, and their low-fat choices are limited.

Visited today for a quick veggie dinner. The salad selection is OK, but needs more variety. The dressing station was a mess, and as such, quite unappetizing. That aside, the food seemed fresh. The place needs a serious makeover and I wish management would make that happen – it is old and dingy and because of that, feels, well, not very clean. The seat covers are worn to shreds. The dessert station should be moved away from the bathroom as the smell of urinal cake and pudding don’t mix well. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I have no complaint with any of them. This place needs updating(wallpaper/seat covers), new menu options, and a better layout.

Went there about 1:30 pm on a Thursday afternoon. Took a while for someone to come to register so we could pay. It’s been a while since we’ve been to this location, and it was not good. As I sat there and ate I saw glass in the doors and windows were dirty, as were the walls, with food splotches and smears on them. The carpet is dirty, stained, and threadbare. The chair covers were completely worn thru the color. It’s just ratty looking. The food was ok, except that after getting a baked potato and looking for the butter/marg, it was nowhere to be found. When we asked, we were told there wasn’t any. What? There’s baked potatoes and sweet potatoes and no butter? Strange. So I don’t know if they’re going to close or what, but if they stay open they need to invest in the place.

We’ve been to this Souper Salads several times now and have never been disappointed. I decided to write this review because the previous ratings were so low. I don’t know if this location has been improved since the other reviews, but I have never had an issue. Souper Salads is a great alternative to greasy fast food and most other buffet style restaurants. But, don’t think it’s just salads and soups. They also have tacos with all the fixings, chili, pizza, baked potatoes(sweet and regular and with sides for toppings), cornbread, garlic bread sticks, fruit and ice cream. They have a really nice assortment of salad toppings and dressings. Everything is fresh and tasty. The sweet tea is delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. As in any buffet, you eat all can for one low price — under $ 6 for adults, but if you get on their email list they send you a steady supply of coupons, which can be used by your entire party(no one needs their own individual coupon — what a pain that is). We just enjoyed our meals at a fourth of July special price, which was good through the entire weekend(5 full days) for just $ 4.44. That’s a deal! I encourage diners to give this place another try. It really is worth it.

Meh. Its alright. Not the greatest place but if I wanted souper salad then I guess this place will do. The staff was a little slow, though I have never been to a overly fantastic souper salad. I go for the breadsticks, that’s about it.

I went around 5pm on a Wednesday. We stood up at the front with several other guests who came after us for about 5 – 7 min before an employee working in the back peaked out of the kitchen window and called for a cashier to assist us. Several customers who came after we had been there also had a waiting period. It seemed like cashiers were pulling double duty. The selection of vegetables did not appear appealing to me. It was same basic choices. I’m unsure why a healthy restaurant would not have a greater selection of produce that would cater more to vegans And vegetarians. Although I am not one I assumes a greater healthier selection. Out of the four soups they did have ALL had either meat or cheese in it or both. Even the veg soup was with beef. The fruit they had has orange slices. Slice cantaloupe and frozen strawberries. Seriously? The Mac and cheese, and tacobeef and whatever other thing there had a slow turnover because it had a different color on top and had hardened. I was sadden and deeply disappointed even with the 4.99 buffet coupon. I ended up going to another restaurant so that I could have a fulfilling meal. Sweet Tomatoes is worth the drive, by the way.

Well someone I know wanted to go here and told me that it had improved some since my previous visit years ago… It was actually pretty decent again, things moved a lot more smoothly… Everything was relatively fresh… I’d avoid the taco meat… People pretty attentive again, and no giant mobs of unattended children ransacking the dessert cart… So I’ll take back that bad review and replace it with a decent one… I’d go back again if I need a giant salad…

I went into Souper Salads looking for an alternative to burgers, tacos, enchiladas, and the like. I thought, $ 10.00 for an all you can eat meal, including drink, not bad. The salad bar is seldom ever maintained, cleaned, or looked after. I had to ask the manager on duty if they were going to put out any more lettuce. Why would a salad bar restaurant run out of lettuce at 6pm? The customers in the store evidentally thought I wanted to babysit their kids for them, b/c they were running rampant in the restaurant, and mom and dad,(or any other adults in the place) were so busy stuffing their lower middle/class faces with free ice cream and pudding, they couldn’t have cared any less about their kids getting into trouble. It’s really hard to put together a decent meal, when you’re trying to avoid being in the flight path of some roudy kids. The lady in the soup line ahead of me, was so busy skimming the broth off the top of the soup, so she could have all the«guts» of the stew, that she wasn’t aware that there was anyone else wanting to eat behind her. The server brought me my diet coke, and I guess I was supposed to make it last, b/c that was the last time I saw her. When I left, someone hollered«have a nice evening», and I answered, «too late.» By then, my day had been ruined.
