Not good. Cheap, but still overpriced. Salsa was bland. They forgot the sour cream on my taco. Nacho chips werent too fresh.

The slowest drive thru I have ever been to! Only 3 cars in the line, and we sat for 45 minutes! I get to the window, and they only have two employees working the inside and drive thru. Poor management!

Many years ago they were freash and first of their kind for a salsa bar. Loved it then so had to check it out and see if they were still as good. The food was good for fast food, chicken grilled and juicey overall good flavor, still have the fresh salsa bar!

Actually, the food is no worse or better than any other Taco Bueno, but the restaurant smells horrible. Seriously, go through the drive through and eat in your car.

I’ve never had a problem with this business. It’s an average Taco Bueno joint. The party burritos are cheap and great for a college kid to stock up on, and the salsa is not too spicy, but not too mild. I love the Mexidips and chips. sooo good and I love eating the huge chip containers haha. The Muchacos are also very good.

I was giving the wrong change. when I brought this issue to her attention She looked at the receipt and said no. When I went back on Monday to talk to the GM she apologized handed me my 5 dollars and offered me a drink I did not accept. It’s about principle.

I have so missed this place. I have always enjoyed their nachos which are made with them really thin tortilla chips that you don’t find very often. They are still delicious with beef or chicken. They have branched out and started carrying Bueno Bowls which is similar to what you would purchase from Chipotle or Qdoba. They also have food empanadas and dessert empanadas. I tried a Bueno Bowl which was pretty good also. mmm…mmm…Bueno!!!

Is Taco Bueno more bueno? It’s definitely not bad. I like the fajita tacos b/c you get one of each plus queso!

Taco Bueno you saved me. When we landed in Dallas it was a tough decision, go to Moms or go eat. I had to eat. I knew where this Taco Bueno was so off we went to get the rental car and find some grub! Now in my opinion Taco Bueno is kind of in the middle as far as fast food Tex-Mex. Not as good as Taco Cabana(nor as expensive) and not as bad as Taco Bell(nor as cheap) it’s a good middle ground. One thing I can tell you is that the ‘Bueno is amazing hangover food. Those beans are magical, sure the first couple of bites make you feel a little worse, but then, as if by magic, they make everything better. The world tilts back on its axis and your tummy stops feeling like you ate a barrel of goldfish and all is right with the world. As far as ‘Buenos go, they’re all the same, I’ve never been to a Bueno and thought ‘wow this one is really nice’. They’re not, they have weird art deco paintings and sell Mexi-Dips with chips. Do it it will make you feel better. There’s magic in those beans I tell you!

This location is tucked away in the back so it’s hard to spot from the highway. I remembered the salsa bar being a little better, food a little better, and service a little better. Anyways, came here for the nostalgia but left with disappointment. Taco Bueno definitely pales in performance and quality from Taco Cabana.
