Was charged more for less on my order exactly one week after my 1st visit. It won’t happen again because I won’t be back. Deuces!

The food is always great here but the service is mediocre. The hostesses are great, they always have a smile on their faces but the waiters/waitresses are a hit or miss. I usually go at lunch time to this location because it is by my job and when I order the stuffed fish on three occasions they have brought out stuffed shrimp. The first time I just ate the shrimp because i needed to get back to work the two other times I sent the food back. The last time I went in there my coworker finished her food before I got the correct order.

We arrived at Razzoo’s before 7pm. It took over an hour in a half to get our second appitizer which appeared to be mutilated. I wish I had time to take a picture of them before they were taken away. Only slivers and pieces of the oysters remained in their shells. Our server, Anthony was great too bad he wasn’t the manager. Hector came to our table extremely defensive and not at all sympathetic. «Saying he shucked them himself.» He made sure that we pad full price for our first appitizer and two drinks… just over $ 30 bucks. He must have been watching us leave because instead of walking outside to apologize for our terrible experience he had me dump out my styrofoam cup of ice. I guess he thought that after nearly two hours there would still be alcohol in my cup that contained 1.5 ounces of liquor. Hector could have made this right but he chose not to. Instead we had to drive to another establishment for dinner. Razzoo’s used to me one of my favorite restaurants. Sad how one person can ruin that.

I came here for dinner with a friend, on a visit to Dallas. He told me that his favorite dish is the Shrimp N’ Cat Combo, so that’s what I got. The seafood was fried nice and hard and was so crunchy. Their tarter sauce had a unique flavor to it and had a nice chunky texture, which I like. Service was pretty good too. It was fairly average, but the server suggested a great drink for which I appreciated. It was the Peach Mambo Mason Jar Chiller. I almost wished I was in Louisiana so I could take some to my hotel to drink(but not drink and drive, be responsible). That would have been nice. Overall, the food was good and worth the price, so I’d go back.

The only reason I stopped by for a bite to eat was because the folks at work had been begging me to join them for lunch.(I’m the cool one. LOLJK) I finally agreed to go and wasn’t really blown away by anything but the décor. I definitely felt like I was dinning somewhere on the bayou. Very fun and festive atmosphere. I wasn’t expecting much of real«cajun» food and I certainly got what I expected. The hush puppies were really dry and was served with no dipping sauce, I asked about 3 times and by the time it arrived, they were cold and really not worth my time anymore. Opted for the shrimp Po’Boy and sadly there’s nothing really to review. Again, it was OK. I tend to compare Cajun food to the bomb food I’ve had in NOLA, but I know that’s not fair. Since it was lunch, wasn’t able to have a hurricane(sad face) and unfortunately, don’t think it will ever happen because I probably won’t be back. Wait, that’s not fair to say either. If the folks I work with go here again lunch/after lunch. I will go. and maybe then I will update my review with something better.

The fried green beans were excellent. The catfish was very good. The snap green beans were very good. The shrimp rive skillet was wonderful. The BBQ shrimp was good and spicy. The red beans and rice was dead on. Had to ding a star for very slow service on a nearly empty day. Started to grate my nerves a bit.

Oooook… This place wasn’t horrible. The food was decent, but the service was a bit aloof and slow, especially for it being fairly empty on a Friday night. The menu itself is entertaining to read, but as I’ve not had real Cajun food, I didn’t know what to expect. I had the Cajun tricky fish and my counterpart had the shrimp en briochette. The shrimp was small, and the bacon cold, and the rice that we both got with the food was SALTY. The fish itself was good, albeit a bit heavy with the sauce, but overall it was fine. Looking back, I should have opted for something else, but it was worth a shot.

Have u been to a razzoos lately? Well ur not missing anything. I’ve been coming to razzoos for years and I can only remember one new item. I like the food but you have to evolve. ADDSOMETHINGNEW! my favs include wings(naked, cuz the rest is just grease) cheeseburger(yes they actually have a very good cb) pork chops(could b more tender but really good) chicken fried steak is good/big but too thin). Blackened chicken pasta(comes with mushrooms btw) the crawfish fondue is a must! For drinks, the worm burner will knock you on ur ass(if you have a good bartender)

Awful customer service and piss poor management. I didn’t get my drink until after I finished my meal. Manager wouldn’t give happy hour appetizer price because they put my order in at 2:54, even though I didn’t get my appetizer until 3:30 and it came out cold. Honestly the worst restaurant experience I’ve ever had in my life.

I so wanted to like this place, but it was bad. Service was very very slow…25 minutes. Only had a couple of crappy beers on draft… Worst of all, the food… very disappointing.

Went here for dinner last night and the food and service was fantastic. I ordered the tchoupitoulas and I would definitely order it again! the chicken was fresh and the mushrooms on it added to the flavor. My mom ordered the stuffed fish and loved it. My dad ordered the seafood gumbo and enjoyed it. The portion sizes are big for what you pay for! However, the best part of my dining experience was the dessert! We ordered the bread pudding and it was the best bread pudding I have ever had! It was moist and the sauce on the pudding made it even more delicious. If you come to Razzoo’s you NEED to try their bread pudding!

I love Mudbugs! I think Razzoos has one of the best Cajun seasonings too. While passing through Dallas, we stopped at this location to eat a couple times. The seasoning on our Mudbugs was delicious. That’s the end of the good part. Out waitress couldn’t figure out how to bring us a Jack and coke. After 2 failed attempts, she asked us to write it down. Our next visit was today. Worst hostess ever! Miss frownie face wouldn’t smile nor reply to our greetings. She marched away from us and used menus to point us to a table, which had 2+ screaming babies on each side of this table. We asked if we could sit in the bar, away from kids. Once seated, out waitress was cheerful and we had delicious Mudbugs. Out of 8 pounds, most of the top crawfish were great. There were several floppy, mushy ones on the bottom. My only gripe was that the gloomy hostess seated a couple with a crying baby right next to us in the bar. WTF?! The restaurant was nearly empty! Overall, great seasoning and Mudbugs, but the hostess and lack of friendliness really made us decide to not return to this location.

Spent 6 days in Dallas and wanted to grab as many local flavors as possible. This was by far the worse meal of the entire trip. Food was way too salty. Service was almost non-existent. Didn’t get a refill on my drink until I was given the check. Chairs still had pieces of food left on it that kids didn’t want to sit down. Will never go back here.

Been to razzoos a couple of times. We got the gator punch bowl to start off with. Super good but needs more alcohol. The fried pickles are alright to be honest. The oysters are decent if you like oysters. My main dish was good. I got the Cajun skillet and it was delicious. Also got the seafood gumbo and it was good. Anything seafood you get is good. If not then speak up. What went wrong is the service of getting your check is the worst part. But I ain’t got time to complain

I swear they’ve added more stuff to their menu. I always get the gator bowl! Nom nom. So good. It’s enough for 4 ppl. If you can hold your liquor it’s definitely good for one for the entire night– maybe I’m just an alcoholic though.(Comment and let me know if you’ve finished this by yourself) I ordered the pork chop meal(don’t remember the name but it’s definitely new). Pork chops cooked to perfection. Served with mashed potatoes and steamed green beans. I HATED the green beans. No seasoning. I would like to point out they have another type of green beans. The juice is still on them and seasoned well. Those are good. The mashed potatoes had a creole gravy over them, very good as well. For the app we had fried green beans. Served with ranch. Good as well. The boudain is good and the chicken stuffed boudain was better.

Ate at the bar on a busy Tuesday lunch. Was greeted as soon as I sat and ordered drinks. I had the lunch Shrimp Piquant, which was very spicey. I like spicey! I believe if it makes my nose run, it’s good Cajun food. My preference would have added more garlic. Otherwise good food and topped it with an Abita Mardi Gras beer.

I go to razzoos often during lent and I have one question. Is it me or does it seem like the portions here are smaller compare to arlington location? Their fish portions are so tiny. The catfish pieces are like the tiniest piece of catfish I’ve ever seen. My coworker ordered the blackened tilapia poboy and there was only one small piece in between the bread. We ordered to go and definitely did not think we got what we paid for.

Came in with a friend on a slow weekday and ordered theircatfish dinner. I hated it. It was nowhere near Louisiana style fish. The corn came with heavy seasoning which I wish I was warned about. The food did come out hot and the waiter was very nice. We ordered a fish bowl, alcoholic drink, and it was so gooood! I got a little tipsy which made my day a little better. I probably would go back and try a burger or chicken strips food you can’t mess up or during happy hour lol
