I stopped in here a few times when I lived around the corner. It’s a small place so the selection isn’t huge. The beer selection was better than the wines, I feel. I can’t drink the really mass produced beers which dominate places like this, but here I was always able to find something local: Real Ale or Revolver or St. Arnold.
The wines were more limited, especially chilled whites, but you could find something for a dinner pinch.
The store was clean, bright and the staff is nice. Oddly they have a large rack of incense right as you walk in the door.
