I originally came here cause a friend joined the Core team and received therapy on my ankle. At first, I was reluctant to chiropractic work and Dr. Nieto worked on my ankle to restore it back to functionality. I ended up changing jobs and insurance changed, so I lapsed my treatment. This of course led to frequent ankle issues that continued, and I ended up pulling a muscle in my calf(which I attributed to being linked from the weak muscles in my ankle but I’m not a doctor ;)) This landed me back at Core Physical Medicine and after a self-scolding for not continuing my original treatment, they happily accepted me back in as a patient. Everyone in the office is super friendly, supportive, and careful with their treatment tailored to each individual. Dr.Nieto looked at my ankle, and ended up doing a full spinal evaluation and was able to feel certain parts of my back that were out of alignment. I was skeptical(AGAIN) but we went over all of my medical issues. I hurt my lower back in college and was in a wheelchair for 2 weeks so I have never fully recovered from that injury. Again, I rehabbed it when it first happened in college but never had any chiropractic work. My lower back was so weak and tight, that I was never able to complete a full core workout with stopping in the past 12 years due to muscle tightness. This is something I had just accepted as part of my life and that I would have to deal with. In addition to my back, I have been in numerous car accidents in the past, and had limited mobility with my neck. This again, was something I dealt with, and am a frequent sufferer of migraines. Dr.Nieto gave me a proper adjustment along these long term«pain points» and was able to recognize my neck issues without me telling him. Again, these were just ailments I had lived with for years. I am proud to say that not only are both of my ankles feeling better, for the first time in 12 years, my lower back did not hurt when I completed an intense workout. I was able to complete it and even my workout partner was astonished since she had always seen me stop and perform modifications. Every part of my body feels like mobility is being restored and I have Dr. Nieto and his team to thank. I whole-heartedly believe in Dr. Nieto’s treatment and would recommend anyone to him for treatment and living a fully functional life. Anything he tells me to do for treatment, I do it, and I look forward to continuing my treatment at his facility and feeling normal and not in pain. Billy Shoemaker is my physical therapist and his knowledge and support has been outstanding on rehab and pushing my treatment to what he knows is best for me. I’m grateful for him and his patience since I can be stubborn at times! :) Thank you Dr. Nieto and Billy Shoemaker!
