Comfort Suites Las Colinas Center

Let me preface this with the fact that I travel for work and am in a different hotel every weekend. I don’t typically stay at 2.5 star hotels, but I booked last minute, and this is was what I got. Honestly it should be rated as a 3 star hotel, but since there is no restaurant on site, I don’t think it can be rated as that. Very clean, full breakfast each day, but here is the real reason that I am writing this review. I checked out this morning and I just got a phone call letting me know that they found my husband’s wedding band. I’ve been traveling for work for 11 years, and left many things in hotel rooms all over the country. I’ve always called, and never EVER have I gotten my lost items back! I didn’t even have to call them! They called me. That is A+ customer service. I will definitely be back.

Beautiful motel, very clean, great price and wonderful staff! We will definitely stay there next comic con. Also found out after the fact that they can beat the Priceline express deals price on convention weekends if you call them.

Nice size rooms. They were also clean and new“ish” feeling. Everyone working there was pleasant and the breakfast was varied enough to please three kids who are picky eaters. Would definitely book here again!

Great staff, comfortable King size beds, mostly clean (except bathroom) and overall good value. Except for some mold in the shower and very small exercise room this would be 4 stars. Granted a little outdated but still a good place to stay (as long as the mold isn’t a serious health risk — not saying it is and not saying it isn’t).
Now for some details, flat screen tv about 42″, fridge, microwave, in room air and fan, separate sitting area with desk, vending machines on 1^st floor, coin laundry on 3^rd floor, plenty of restaurants near by, complimentary breakfast, rooms are carpeted, pillows are fluffy and comfortable, mattress was big and pretty comfortable, in room safe, iron, check out is 11:00am and yes it is kind of dated. Popcorn ceilings, carpet and chairs in room looked fairly clean but old.
Note: Check out my pics, I can’t say if this is mold or something else in the bathroom but it should get properly cleaned and tested. That won’t keep me away, I will still come back but definitely wouldn’t stay with my kids (just to be safe)!

My wife and I stay only at Comfort Suites. If you book early enough, price is great. Last minute booking can get pricey. We are members of the hotel «club» and earn points for free nights. Rooms are always nicer and more comfortable than the middle of the pack hotels. Free hot breakfast is always good.
