Very popular Starbucks(crowded!) Came here because I was looking for a place to have a study group. Lots of outdoor seating, inside seating is limited to a few tables and bar tables. Employee taking my order kept thinking I was done ordering without asking if there was anything else she could get me.

Hi my name is Amir, I am a big fan of Starbucks until today. Let me share the story that happened to me at the starbucks Irvine Alton and Culver location. This location was one of my favorite stores of all the time because I just live next to it. I always get my coffees and tea from this location and everybody knew me very well. This afternoon I went there to get Medicine Ball and there was a girl who has a glasses and black hair and her name was ZECORZAC I don’t remember she talked to me in a bad way. So I said I want Medicine Ball and she was like what is medicine ball? I was like hmm medicine ball? she was like I don’t know what are you talking about? I was like listen I come here everyday and I get the same thing from your other employees and she was like nobody knows what is medicine ball in this store? and then there was a asian guy passing by on her back and I asked him hey do you know what is medicine ball? and he said yes but the girl told him to stop and say nothing. I was like is it really customer service? maybe you are new with this company and she was like no I had been with this company for 7 years. I was like you are with company for 7 years and you don’t know how to make medicine ball? she was like if you see it in our menu I can make it for you otherwise show me the recipe? I was like do you want me to bring you the recipe from google? she was like yes. I googled the medicine ball recipe for her and I show it to her and she looked for less than a second and she was ok I will make you one. I was like are you serious? you already know what is medicine ball is and you are acting like this? and then when I finish my transaction I said can you give you my recipe? and she didn’t hand it to me, she was like you can take it from there and she turn around I was like wow? really starbucks? you guys hire people who doesn’t know anything about customer satisfaction? I will call the store manager and starbucks regarding to my experience because listen you just lost one loyal customer and It was my worst experience ever.

Parking can be chaotic in the corner area. I would suggest parking on the side near the mattress store. This is the closet Starbucks near the west park neighborhood in Irvine(besides the Starbucks inside a Target and albertsons. **they expanded the outdoor seating and took away the seating in the Inside that tucked back into the corner…(Poop… My secret-not-so-secret getaway is gone)! The staff seems to be a lot younger. Hence if they are in a bad mood, they can be a bit rude. But regardless, it’s a Starbucks don’t expect 10⁄10 service. BTW Starbucks at target makes green tea lattes 10x better

My wife put in an online order for me since I was running late to work. I usually get a cold brew coffee with whole milk. And on the app if the store is out of cold brew it’ll come up as ‘0oz’ and it wasn’t on the app this morning. I get to the hand off counter, there’s my pastry and an empty cup with my wife’s name on it… with sharpie writing that reads ‘sorry):’ are you kidding me? There are 2 employees chit chatting while I’m Standing there trying to get their attention. One finally notices and comes over. And tells me there’s no cold brew but he can give me an iced coffee or an americano. I say ok the americano with milk. He just fills the cup with iced coffee and hands me the cup. I ask for milk. He goes over to the sink, dumps half of it out and fills it with the milk. I have never ever had bad service at a Starbucks. Until today. I live across the street. I’m a regular here. And now, I won’t be returning to this starbucks.

Came in at 11:30AM on a Monday 10⁄12 and it wasn’t crowded at all. A sweet girl took my order right away and she also made my drink. I didn’t catch her name, but she was blonde. The drink was fantastic. She made it exactly the way I wanted it. I wish I caught her name but I will definitely be coming here for my morning pick me ups!

It should be zero stars. How do I get bypassed by SIX orders and when I ask about my drink she says«it’s coming up». Really? Makes me feel like a valued customer at Starbucks where I continuously add $ 50 reloads time and time again. It is just extremely disappointing as a continued consumer that supports this company I am not valued more.

I’m a regular at quite a few Starbucks. This one is tops. They’re in phased by the morning rush. I’ve never waited longer than ten minutes for a drink between 7 and 9am. The staff retention and training is excellent. They also seem to make an extra effort to treat you like a regular in a sincere way.

Well, since you guys definitely are not buying RISTRETTO for your flat whites anymore, we are all going to Albertson’s from now on. They use RISTRETTO in their FLATWHITES! I promise I won’t write anymore reviews!

I frequent a lot of Starbucks stores and have decided this one is one of the worst ones I have ever been to. No matter what time u come in the female employees are always talking, they are super rude, super lazy, and it can take them up to ten minutes to make a drink. The wifi is horrible, the milk carafs are always empty, the iced coffee isnt very good-burnt usually. What’s Up Irvine I thought you were all about quality, these owners really need to step it up, ur ruining Starbucks reputation! This is the only one on my way to work and have avoided it for the last 5 years, thought the remodel would have improved it, NOPE! I think I will go back to my old routine of going out of my way… much disappointment!

The barista is lazy. She made a mess of every drink I ordered. They came out one at a time and each one was covered in a sticky mess. When I asked her to wipe it, she told me to go wipe it myself with the napkin. So, we were left with sticky hands and 4 sticky drinks. The layout is not functions either. Just a bunch of squished people in a room.

I used to live and frequent this Starbucks when I lived in Irvine. There is no drive thru. Space is very limited and the outside is usually pretty full of people. I don’t normally go to Starbucks like I used to, but they are consistent. I’d avoid this location for the parking as well. There are never any spots open by the store.

Definitely not the best Starbucks I’ve been to, but also not the worst! I’ve had a pretty average experience with their customer service. Some of the cashiers are happy and talkative and some you can tell are exhausted at the end of their shifts. There is always a ton of parking. There is also a ton of great outdoor seating, where you can still use the free wi-fi. I usually can find a seat inside if I need to charge my laptop. If it’s packed, I usually sit at one of the high tables in the back. But, there are more than enough outlets. This Starbucks tends to get cold, so if you’re going to be there for a few hours working, dress warm. I asked the employees if they could adjust the temperature, but they do not have access to it. I’ve never needed a drink to be remade at this location. The baristas do a great job!

Of at least 4 – 5 other $SBUX locations(Woodbridge, UCI, Northwood, Fashion Island), the one on the corner of Culver and Alton is what I frequent the most. Lines are typical but decent before 8am, the staff is consistently courteous and efficient. Familiar faces throughout the years so low turnover makes for sincere greetings. The patio is what makes this one a 4– it’s renovated with enough seating outside a smoke free/free wifi environment. After 12pm it gets filled with the students from Woodbridge High but by then I’m usually gone. Friday mornings

I’m not sure what’s going on… Starbucks usually has friendly baristas, but this is the second location in Irvine that I frequent on a daily basis that has the CRANKIEST and most ANTI-SOCIAL employees I have ever encountered.(the other location is the one on Von Karman next to Walmart) I can’t wrap my brain around how the same group of people can be so cranky and mean EVERYSINGLEDAY! Is that even possible?! I go here(almost) everyday and have never caught them on a happy day. The only logical explanation I can come up with is that the employees at these 2 locations probably think they’re competing for the title of «The Meanest Starbucks Employee On Earth». Otherwise, why would they be such total b*tches ALL the time?! And what’s even more mind boggling is how did they get the job to begin with?! Either they were totally fake during the interview or the hiring manager is even crankier than the employees or they USED to be happy but working here made them mean A-holes. These are the only rational explanations, right? Right. Your best bet is to quickly order your drink, avoid making eye contact in the hopes that their Grinchiness doesn’t rub off on you, then scurry outside while they’re making your drink, then furiously run inside, grab your drink, and dart back outside to enjoy their beautiful outdoor seating area, which is the only positive aspect of this location. You can thank me for the game plan later.

I actually like this store but they just need more workers. Typically they only have like 2 people making drinks even at peak times. That’s not enough but then again behind the counter is tiny or at least it looks smaller than most of the other sbux. The parking here is ridiculous. I always wondered when going to 7⁄11 why is this parking area so crowded? I didn’t want to believe it was because of sbux, because honestly I just started drinking it about 3 months ago but tucking it away in that specific corner was a bad move. They should have just took over the old Claim Jumper instead but now that’s some kind of school. Oh well.

Worst Starbucks experience ever. They took my order right away but the barista was completely just taking her time. There would be moments when she would just stand there and do nothing instead of working on the next drink. It took about 10 – 15 minutes for my drink when there was literally only 2 people before me. Keep in my mind, I only ordered an iced coffee. To top it off, halfway through my drink, I noticed that one of the ice had a bug in it! Didn’t even get to take a picture since I was so disgusted that I throw it away right away. Still gonna get Starbucks but definitely not from this location.

This location is very convenient and it’s remodeled, so it looks really good and it became more spacious. Staff is friendly and are always happy to help. Due to the remodel, I feel that adding La Boulange kind of ruined it for me. I have a huge sweet tooth and liked their pastries before, but since they re opened, their pastries went downhill and are not good. I’m disappointed.

Starbucks fanatic here! I’ve stopped by here numerous amount of times when I have to go to Irvine Yamaha for work-related errands. I’ve never had any issues with the baristas here. They’re all friendly as well fast and efficient on getting drinks out! As far as seating goes, there isn’t a whole lot inside, but there’s a good size patio outside. Interesting color scheme for the umbrella on the patio. Most Starbucks would have their trademark green color, but this location had orange! Parking in front of the store may be difficult to find, but there’s always plenty more within the plaza!
