I eat like three salmon burritos here a week, never get sick, tastes great and i love the customer service. Denia the server is great, and i recommend this place to anyone trying to get a high quality bite to eat just be mindful it is very busy during lunch hours.

Went here for the 1^st time and was disappointed. I ordered the fish & chips. Total was $ 9.18 (without any drink) and the quality of food was not that good.
The fish was too salty. The coleslaw tasted old. French fries were ok.
I called and wanted to talk to the manager but the girl who answered the phone would not let me and didn’t give me a name of the manager.
She said that they had a lot of fish & chips orders but not a single complaint. well majority of them were men who probably ate them or didn’t want to bother.
Definitely NOT recommending this place to my friends.

I am heading to the restroom just like some other Unilocalers. Fish and chips are coated in latex. Please heed our warnings and eat anywhere but here!

Ordered the 2 taco plate with Mexican rice and black beans. Was not told it was 50Cents more to order steak tacos and the menu just says to pick a protein. Over $ 9 plus tax for the plate. Tacos were mediocre, no flavor. I had to add sauce and salt for flavor. Also the rice and beans tasted like they were just microwaved. Not worth the price.

I went here for a quick lunch bite with my boyfriend on his lunch break! The menu has something for everyone! And I love that it’s a non gmo joint! I got a veggie burrito and it was filled with a variety of veggies! Not like a normal veggie burrito! This one has zucchini, yellow, squash, spinach, carrots, corn, lettuce, and avocado! The salsa bar is awesome! Their salsas have great flavor! However… In my burrito I got two surprises, a hair that’s not mine because It was a different color and an avocado pit from the top of the avo. It tastes disgusting. Overall the burrito was good. I’ll probably get something different next time.:

I really like their food, I typically only eat seafood so this place fits my taste. However, they skip my order and those that ordered after me got their food first. The cashier is very rude and is not helpful. This place is still rather new, and I had questions about the menu and she made me feel like I should know. I will still eat here but these are some things I would change and work on as a manager.

The food is good. Glad to get some protein option in the neighborhood. And I do love fish. But the cashier is rude and not welcoming. I thought everyone was nice in Orange County — guess not

Food is okay but taking 30 minutes to make a $ 9 burrito while serving other customers that ordered after me is one of the latest annoyances with restaurants.
Priced too high, takes too long, serves out of order.

Worst experience, cashier didn’t explain anything. First time I went cashier didn’t explain the choices of sauces you can choose from and she choose for me. She never even looked at me when or after taking the order or thank you.

I like the food; it tastes fresh. What I don’t like is that the cashier and/​or kitchen consistently make mistakes with the orders. I’ve had too many instances like today where my meal was not prepared as requested and I’m stuck with it because I’m now at work. They obviously need a more experienced kitchen manager to ensure orders are out relatively quickly and per requested.

I GOT SICK AND IM NOT THE ONLY ONE!!! BEWARE!!!Poor customer service.
I’ve been here a few times. I’ve only had the mahi mahi bowls each time.
The first time I ordered online. When I got there, there was a few people in line so I moved up to the front side next to where the to/​go orders were placed figuring mine was waiting. The cashier girl didn’t acknowledge me once until there was no one else in line. She looked for my order but couldn’t find it and said «oh the order just came through» (even though I had placed it to be ready up at a certain time) so I had to wait even longer for them to make it.
The second time I ordered online, same thing, I walked up to see if my order was there, once again same girl did not acknowledge my presence because there was ONE person in line… No one tried to help me as I stood there… I saw my name on the bag, grabbed it and said thank you.
They should have an area with a sign for pickup orders and someone that helps you grab the right order. Or just someone that at least acknowledges your presence And tries to help you when you’re standing by the pickup orders.
Also after I ate this same meal for the about the third time, my face neck and chest started to flush bright red and got hot right after I ate. Something that has NEVER happened to me before. I didn’t eat anything else before this happened so I googled «flushing after eating fish» turns out it’s «scombroid food poisoning» which happens when a bacteria grows on fish from improper storage! The bacteria gets killed by cooking but the toxin from the bacteria still remains in the fish. Thank god all I got was flushing! You can get worse reactions and have to go to ER!
I just read another 1 star review that was posted and looks like they had the same thing happen with the mahi. SCROMBOID FOOD POISONING. STAY AWAY!

Food gets 4 stars but service gets a 1 star. Girl got my order wrong as well as the guy in front of me.
How hard is it to get blackened fish?

This was my first time to this restaurant. I tried the Mahi fish plate. The fish didn’t seem that fresh but the sauce and seasoning was great. If I went back again a would definitely ask them what fish is fresh.
For the sides I had the salad and black beans. The salad comes with a house dressing that I enjoyed. The black beans were served in a separate cup and were nothing to brag about. They did put Cotija cheese on it (which smells like stinky feet) so some people might not enjoy that.
Would I recommend to a friend? Probably not
Would I take my family here? No my wife hates fish
Would I eat here again? I’m not going to put it on my schedule but I would if I’m in the neighborhood and craving fish. But I will be sure to ask what is fresh.

i’ve tried a few of their bowls, as well as their fish plate. fish plate was lackluster, but the bowls i like. also very very filling!
lunch time is always packed. sometimes it’s even hard to find parking. however, if you can get in, starbucks is right next door, so you can go and order a coffee while you’re at it. take out takes a little while as they get pretty jammed, and honestly the little take out salsa cups are inefficient. do what i do if you order a bowl, just pour the salsa directly onto the bowl. screw the take out cups!

Been coming here for years but this place has never tasted so good as it did today. The ingredients tasted incredibly fresh — the guacamole and meats were on point. And the staff is always incredibly polite.
By far, the best thing on the menu is the surf n turf taco (steak + shrimp), hands down.
The only downside is sometimes the line is long during the lunch hour. Call in your order to save some time so it’s ready when you get there!

Wouldn’t have noticed if my co workers didn’t decide to go here for someone’s birthday. I looked around and I didn’t even see a Pacifico sign outside. It’s next to the Flame Broiler though. Plaza gets super packed during the lunch rush and parking sucks. They have plenty of outdoor tables for you to sit though. I don’t understand why this place is super packed though… maybe because there isn’t any other food places around…
What I got:
Market Greens Salad w/​Mahi ($ 9): salad was super underdressed… I felt like I was just eating a plain salad. Mahi was super super dry, hard to break into pieces, and too small for the salad. I got to try the chips and salsa though… best thing at the table…
Service:
Super slow. Line was already super long and they just took their time walking away from the cash register for who knows what.

I’m puzzled as to why this mexican joint is rated at 2.5 stars. I came here for the first time and ordered a blackened Mahi Mahi fish plate with rice and salad. It tasted better than I expected! It’s similar to California Fish Grill but the portion is a tad larger.
The nachos grande was very good too. I really love the thin fresh chips they used, and the pinto beans were one of the best I’ve had.
I wish the prices were $ 1 cheaper but the food is good. I’ll definitely be back here to try the tacos and burritoes.

I like the fish plates (mahi blackened) with mexican rice. Healthy option for lunch but it is pricey…10 bucks for a fish plate.
Restaurant is small so big groups arent welcomed here. Busy for lunch but dead on other times.

Where do I start at how sucky this place is?
Was it the blank look and no «hello» or even a «fuck you» from the girl at the counter when I tried to order?
Or that fact that a $ 10 burrito should actually be even slightly bigger than something you would get «grilled and stuffed» from Taco Bell?
Or was it the 20mins I had to wait for it when there were three employees and just one other patron in there but me?
What about the unintelligible mumble of my number being called?
Could it be that I never got the drink I ordered?
I guess it could be a combination of ALL of these things that would keep a person away from this place.
In short, I have eaten burritos from Vancouver island to San Felipe Mexico and I have to tell you that in So Cal your money can and will be spent better elsewhere. But hey, if poor customer service is your thing and if you are wealthy and on some sort of reduced portion diet where expensive small food is your thing, then by all means go here and check it out.

This place used to be named Arriba, now changed to Pacifico Fish Co. They really need to change more than the name.
I had them twice when they were Arriba and they were gross then, I gave them a 3RD chance hoping they’d changed management or at least changed cooks, but they are exactly the same.
The steak bowl I got was like soup. it was watery, the rice was mushy the meat was weirdly shredded unlike a real Mexican «Grill». There was no taste nothing was seasoned. Co-​workers got a chicken burrito and fish taco and no one was satisfied and we all felt sick after.
Hopefully things here will change quickly.
Lunch options are limited in the area, that’s the only reason they’ve survived.
