Went here for the free chipotle coupon I received.
Food: like other chipotle. I got half chicken, half barbacoa with everything in a bowl with tortilla on the side. White Rice, black beans, veggies, half chicken, half barbacoa, mild salsa, cheese, sour cream, lettuce, and corn. I love how the chicken was so good and flavorful!!!
Service: when I asked if they still offer free chipotle if you have the coupon, the person asked the manager and the manager said yes. However, I saw the eyes they gave each other when I asked. They were not happy and looked like they were annoyed by it… that’s the vibe I got from them.
Took it to go.
Ate outside and packed the left overs for home.
Smaller indoor space and they have outside seating.

This review is for the manager DANIEL that works At this store. The day they had a free burrito link bc of their company wide meeting, I registered and got the link. Now today it’s not working anymore! I have all my screen shots and the text back so I called and spoke to Daniel and I thought I was gonna have to somehow prove it and show other pictures, etc but Daniel was AMAZING in customer service and told me not to worry just bring in the screen shots and he’ll take care of me. I really appreciated this bc I am an honest person and just had bad luck with my link! He said he’d honor it. Made me day– amazing job Daniel!!!

I really can’t complain about any chipotle! I feel like my experience is always great!
The service is good. Nothing very spectacular, but they move the line pretty quickly and they give you good sizes. They did accidentally mess up my boyfriends order and mine by charging us for double guac when we only had 1, but they were nice about it and threw in some extra stuff for us.
The flavor and quality is really good too! I love their chicken and salsas especially. Also it’s great this ones at the spectrum so you can always go there for lunch while shopping.

I had a bad experience that this location. The staff member was rude they were putting up everything 20mins before closing so they lied to me and gave me no sides for my steak bowl just rice and the steak. They lied and said they were out but I saw containers that were behind them that had some of the sides. Then I told them since I didn’t get the meal I wanted it they could give me a discount or give me one of the bags of chips and the staff member refused. So I walked away paying for a 9.67 $ cold meal with no sides. I won’t be going to this location again.

Took 3 veggie bowls to-​go. Very bad service, attitude, ran out of veggies, less portion. I literally had to tell him to add some more guacamole and he was pissed off. Not the way you treat customers.

The food is not hot here! No wonder they have contamination issues. The menu reads and tastes good; but I don’t trust them!

I haven’t had chipotle for about 6 months; therefore, I was craving chipolet.
I’m pretty sure that it’s only this place that’s dirty.
Just don’t go here to get a chipotle, goto other location.
I walked in to chipolet hungry and walked out losing my appetite because the line was so dirty.
Thank God I just walked out before it was too late!

We came in hungry, but as soon as we saw the counter, it was outright disgusting. Sour crème sauce streaked along where the food was dragged down the rail from the earlier orders, splotches of red sauce stuck along the rims of toppings, and corn everywhere over the counter.
They must of caught us staring in disgust at their line because they took out an oily nasty rag to smear it away, and push the corn onto the floor.
Despite my conscious screaming no, we continued to proceed with our order anyway…
We attempted to order a steak burrito and bowl, but OF COURSE they ran out of steak and made us wait.
When the cook in the back finally began to cut up some steak the guy who was building our food grabbed the old container of empty steak and poured the old steak juice and oil into the batch.
What. The. Actual. Frick?! NASTY how long has that been sitting there?!
Then this guy (i swear he looks like an extra from the walking dead with the personality to match. Skinny and dark haired with an expressionless face) brings over and tops our burrito with the most minimal amount of steak.. When we asked for a bit extra, the chubby manager (?) Said we need to pay extra for that.
Fine.
Then, when asking for red sauce he suddenly becomes SOOO
generous with that, damn near drowned our buritto.
Then the fat lady was waving her nasty ungloved hands over our burrito giving the zombie lessons on how to build a burrito, while pointing at things with her raw finger.
Girl, i dont know where that hand has been and I’m not waiting around to find out.
Done. We’re done.
Said sorry, but we don’t want the food.
And left.
Ps. To chipotle. Don’t train your employees in FRONT of the customer, and please, please PLEASE. Clean up.

I give this place a subpar review on behalf of the decline of service. I have been working in the mall for some time now. Each time i am in the mood for chipotle I find myself giving this location another chance. Every time I order a burrito I get inconsistent portions. Mainly while I can see the irritation or frustration of the employee being overworked. I feel guilty asking for a single portion of steak, chicken etc. I feel as though because they have a consistently busy location that they skimp on portions and making more to support their traffic of customers. I rather them make me wait for my food than to be rushed and get half the product. I’m not the type of person to complain or make a scene but I thought I would let everyone know how my multiple experiences have been. Hopefully they can build a consistent structure to their food.

I come to this Chipotle every time I come to the Irvine Spectrum! It’s in a great location near the parking garage. The line is always decently long, but worth the wait for a massive burrito!

I rarely give one star reviews. This is probably the worst chipotle I have ever been to, overall.
The place was unorganized and the bathroom was sloppy and filthy. When I got in line to order, every worker looked pissed off asking what you want. «Flour or corn, white or brown rice, meat?» The way they asked, you felt they are rushing you and are annoyed.
My lady put so little meat (steak) in it I felt it was just rice and veggies, and the next worker wrapped the tortilla so loosely, when I started eating everything just fell apart…
My husbands 3 taco corn tortillas were tossed around. they all ripped… so it couldn’t really hold the meat (but it was ok since they gave us so little meat)
I will never come back to this location… Disappointment.

Lunchtime at the Irvine Spectrum is hectic. That much is a given. Fortunately Chipotle has a nice wrap-​around line system so you can stand indoors as you wait the requisite 15 minutes to reach the front of the line and place your order.
Can’t go wrong with the taste, and the ingredients are fresh. Chipotle staff knows not to section its ingredients when constructing a burrito: there is no salsa wasteland or chicken desert, but instead everything is mixed and each bite has a little of every ingredient, just as should be.
I recommend calling in your order or placing it to-​go online as both options allow you to skip the line, pay, and leave without jostling through a crowd all waiting for their burrito fix.

I love chipotle, but they need to get their s. t together at this location! The line was out the door, and the staff seemed clueless. They were slow and sloppy. I noticed how they put their hands all over the place and did not change cloves. Ewww! And, I ordered a sofritas bowl and the sofritas had two large chunks of chicken in it. Glad I’m not a vegetarian or vegan, that would’ve provably freaked someone out, huh? And then because they didn’t correctly bag my food that I ordered to go, it seeped out of the bag and got all over my car seat. Not a good experience!

I try not to rate chain places, but I have to admit: I love chipotle. There is always going to be a long line, whichever location you’re at, or whatever time it is, but it’s always worth the wait. When I need good food fast and relatively inexpensive, Chipotle is my first choice.

I don’t need to write about how amazing the food at Chipotle is because that’s an obvious statement. But I would like to mention how amazing their employee customer service is.

Both Kalyn and Dominic deserve a raise, but I’m sure you already knew that! We love them here at UFC Gym and always come grab lunch.

This Chipotle location is our go-​to burrito spot. We’ve had some issue with different locations being less than generous with the burrito fillings, but this location is consistently good.
If you go here around lunch time there will be a bit of a wait, but the staff does a good job of keeping the line moving and not skimping on ingredients just because they are busy. Because this location is usually pretty busy, you may have to wipe down your own table. Not a big deal, but not my favorite task right before I eat.
Our standard order is a veggie burrito with the guacamole on the side with an order of chips. The chips here have always been fresh and crispy. Again, we’ve had issues with consistency across different locations and on occasion have had «chewy» chips from other Chipotle’s. Not at this location. Maybe it’s because they are busier and they move through ingredients faster, but I give them props for keeping things fresh and consistently generous.

Came right at 11 when they opened to beat the crowd, but… that didn’t happen. My coworkers and I were behind 2 different parties that had kids… They don’t have the kids meal on the menu on the wall so each of them asked the burrito maker to tell them the choices… Then they kept changing their order! There was only one burrito maker to which didn’t make sense to me since they should know that the lunch rush was coming…
What I got:
Chicken Salad ($ 6.70): so I got my salad with fajita vegetables, fresh tomato salsa, sour cream, roasted corn salsa, and cheese. I love the chipotle honey vinaigrette that it comes with! I always enjoy getting the salad here. Chicken is good. Toppings tasted and looked fresh. They give you a lot too so you’ll definitely full. I always end up with leftovers.
Service:
It looked like 1 – 2 people cooking the meat in the back, but they were out of steak right when they opened so um… I don’t know what happened there. There was one person taking care of the meat. One person taking care of the toppings. One person handling the cash register. Person handling the cash register wasn’t even doing a good job! I had to grab my own vinaigrette or else he would have forgot about it and left it for the person behind me.

You can never go wrong with the salad bowls here. You can go to town on the toppings or watch your figure and just order the essentials. Regardless, the staff will more than likely listen to your special request. If you order an extra scoop of an item, they will add the extra scoop of that item. My go to meat is always the chicken. It’s always cooked well and seasoned well.
Also, the location of this place is very easy to get to at the Spectrum. Not that far from the parking lots. There is hardly any seating during lunch so you’ll have to venture outside Chipotle to sit down.

Fast and fresh. Love their bowls. Carnitas is my fav with corn guac and chopped tomatoes.
Healthy fast food at its best.

Get the kids taco meal! Great deal for just under $ 5 if you’re feeling a bit peckish, but not ready for a full-​on meal. My colleague introduced me to this concept, and it’s what I’ve gotten each time since returning.
As for the meats, I vote for the barbacoa or the chicken. I don’t like the steak; it’s dry.
The medium salsa is the best (though they charge more, sometimes, when you get it with the kids meal? Weird.)
Lines can get long around lunchtimes on the weekdays, so try to come a bit before or a bit after peak time. Located on the side of the center that is nearest the 5 freeway (think: The Melt, Dave & Busters, Fuzziwigs)
