The crab cakes were delicious! The special was beef quesadilla and it was very tasty! I loved the sauce drizzled over it. The soup was good and reminded me almost of a chili in flavor. The shrimp was fresh and we’ll cooked. The dessert brownie with ice cream was really good, the brownie was soft and gooey. Overall great experience!

Their food is ok. I had the fried shrimp, coleslaw, baked potato, pirates soup, and onion rings fo appetizer. the shrimp fried good, but it has no taste. I loved The Pirates
reminded me of seafood gumbo. Coleslaw tasted ok. Onion rings had no flavor either. I would come back to try the red fish and more of their pirates soup.

Great spot for lunch if you’re trapped in town for work. Wide variety of dishes, good service, nice spot. Prices are on the higher side, but that’s the cost of spending time in a tourist town.
Condiments come in plastic cups. I’ve said it a thousand times, but please please please; if you’re running a restaurant, avoid making this mistake. It automatically, single handedly knocks a couple notches off the experience for people like me. If you need a hint — use reusable containers. Glass or steel is OK. You’ll create a better experience for your customers, reduce waste, reduce opex, and just be cooler.

Always a good place to come when no one can decide what they want. Wide variety on menu, burgers, seafood, steaks, pasta, sandwiches, Tuesday’s all u can eat fried grilled, or blackend shrimp, Saturday’s all u can eat fried, usually good fresh an ample shrimp, enjoy

Great little hole in the wall. I have been there twice. Both times have had great service and was very surprised by the food. I know it’s a seafood joint but their burger is amazing!
I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good bite.

A solid hole in the wall seafood joint here in Ingleside. The menu is ok, but what keeps me coming back is the fresh catch. Whatever it is on a particular day, that seems to be what they are putting their primary focus on to back in the kitchen. It’s usually pretty tasty.
The service is hit or miss… I’ve run into a few cranky servers a couple of times, but nothing real off-​putting.
BOTTOM LINE: Good place for some seafood in Ingleside.

Nice local establishment. A bit off the beaten path. Exceeded our expectations and we enjoyed the Pirate theme. Don’t worry, it’s not cheesy. And hey, everyday from 3 – 6 they have .99¢ Margaritas, and ALL day Sunday. What? They also have a pretty impressive selection of beer. Enjoy, matey!

Arrived with a large group which could be cause for my food being cold and dry. Ate here 2 days later and had grilled shrimp and veggies, both which were mushy. Shrimp had a chemical taste and were small, especially for the price. I hear you can’t go wrong with the fried fish, which I am not a fan of. Wouldn’t revisit unless had to against my will.

This is the third year in a row that we have eaten supper here. Every year we have not been disappointed. This year i didnt eat because i was stuffed from lunch but mom and dad got the all you can eat fried shrimp. They didnt have any complaints other than they ate too much. Haha. We also arrived at happy hour and enjoyed some $ 1 margaritas… Yumm yumm :) They have a live singer but we havent been impressed yet. Not extremely wheelchair friendly. It was hard to get over the hump in the doorway. Over all we will be back next year :)

There is parking in a private lot by Blackbeard’s and in the not-​particularly-​paved area across the street. If you park there, be mindful backing out onto the street!
Service is hit or miss at Blackbeard’s. It has never been supremely awful… it’s just not so great at times. I’ve never had seafood at this location… only chicken and burgers. The Blackbeard’s Own is a pretty tasty burger and worth returning for.
Don’t order coffee (I was tired… what can I say?). It’s mostly just warm, murky water.
