(+) Taiwan Style beef noodle soup, their taste is close to the style of the back street of Taipei station. (-) Service seems not organized, its space is only for smaller group. (=) expected waiting line during lunch time, give it a try to see if you like their beef noodle style. I will definitely come back again.

I give a one star. Beef Noodle Spicy soup is sub par and taste like bad Mexican beef and vegi chili soup and I don’t think it is my Taiwanese style noodle soup; however, the fat server is cool and preserve egg tofu apitazer is a 4 out of 5. I saw a Mexican guy in the kitchen cooking when I excuse myself to the restroom. Beef taste like rubber-made and veggie of the soup is a few cheap pieces of American style leaf salad and not the Chinese greens like bokchoi… I predict it will close down in less than a year since competition is fierce in RH.

I want to give this place a better score because the beef noodle soup was not bad, but the experience makes it hard to do so. The beef noodle soup was not bad, though a little bland. The meat was not as tender as I would have liked it to be. The reason I wouldn’t give this place a better score is because the experience was pretty bad. The waiters/waitress is not aware of what and when the customers order. There was a group who came in after I placed my order, but they somehow got their food before I did. On top of that, they had more people in their group and ordered more food than I did, yet theirs came out first. When my food finally came out, the waiter brought it over and asked, «is this what you ordered?» I didn’t know how to respond to that because, what if I didn’t know what beef noodle soup looked like… I wouldn’t know if that was what I ordered or not. Another thing that bothered me was when it came time to pay. I gave the waiter a $ 20 and he brought back the change and again he asked«is this yours?» He could have given me someone else’s change or given someone my change and would not have noticed! Overall, the food was okay, but the service needs some improving. Probably wouldn’t come here again.

This place’s specialty is beef noodle soup. The soup base is non-spicy and the taste is more like the traditional taiwanese beef noodle soup style. I ordered beef/tendon noodles and soup tasted mildly herbal to me. Beef was not tender and it needed more seasoning. Overall I would give a solid B and I would go back. Another similar restaurant in SGV has this place beat.
