You guys really need to stop putting the trainees at the front during busy weekends. I ordered a large oolong jade milk tea with boba today, not only I had to repeat my order to her 3 times because she doesn’t know what’s what and how to enter my order into the computer, guess what I got when I get my drink? A small oolong jade milk tea with no boba. Seriously, no matter how good the drink is, customer service and experience is very important, don’t you think so?

The drinks are good. The only two things that bothered me were the ten dollar minimum for cards and that the boba lost its honey coating after about ten minutes.

Half and Half has delicious drinks with fresh boba! I ordered the ice milk with boba and pudding. The ice milk was nice and chilly but not too sweet. The boba was soft, cheesy, and added great texture and flavor. The pudding was also delicious. I got the small size for over $ 4 I think but it was a large portion. The inside was spacious but a bit dark. The only seating was a couch, which was comfortable but there was only one. It was more of a to-go place. All in all, it was great boba and a large portion, and I would 10⁄10 come back.

i’ve never had half and half before despite hearing about its glories(it’s not close to anywhere i go). i got the ice milk with red bean and boba($ 4.20), because people really liked the iced milk drinks on Unilocal and i’d never had it before. iced milk is a very accurate title; it’s literally that. it’s the toppings that make it yummy and unique. the red beans and boba added all the flavor and sugar. it would have been too sweet had the drink not been sweetened, but they evened each out(okay it was still on the sweet side but manageable). this place was weird on a couple levels. there were no asian employees working there(all the pearl milk tea places i’ve been to are staffed almost completely with asians). not a bad thing, just unusual(THISHADNOIMPACTWHATSOEVERONMYREVIEW). what was unacceptable was how slow they were. drinks were getting churned out by the pair every 5 minutes, and we easily waited 20 minutes to get our drinks even though there were only a few people in front of us. two stars. the wait combined with the fact that i was disappointed by my drink means i won’t be returning.

1 star for customer service and maybe a 2 star for the boba milk tea. Too sweet even though I ordered it at half sweet. The boba pearls were no better than Tier 2 tea houses. What really ticked me off was that no change back if using a gift card. I received a $ 20 gift card as a present and when I tried use it… no change back, so I would lose the remaining balance. This makes no sense. My friend bought the gift card at face value. Hopefully they learn one or two things about customer service and gift card redemptions. No thanks!

This half & half is just like the other locations. However they don’t have much seating inside. It’s just 1 couch and 2 seats. It’s mostly all outside the plaza. I got the regular milk tea here and it tasted a little too roasted for my liking. If you’re around the Rowland area and you want half & half come to this location because it was WAYLESSCROWDED than the one on Colima.

My favorite boba joint. It’s not extremely convenient for me to come here, but if I’m in the area I’ll be getting some Half & Half. It is CASHONLY so be prepared. The lines here can get a little long. I’ve waited in lines that are out the door a few times, but the wait isn’t too long. Parking in this plaza sucks… There might be spots in the bottom lot, but I’ve never gone down there. There is also additional parking behind the plaza. There is an entrance to the plaza that’s located right next to Half & Half. My go to drink is the Almond Fresh Milk Tea with Honey Boba and Egg Pudding, half sugar. My niece loves the Strawberry Milk Drink with Honey Boba and Egg Pudding, but she’s four and loves everything sweet. I’ve had the regular milk tea here… and I would not recommend that… it has some weird coffee taste to it as well… So I would stay away from that one. The drinks here can be a bit sweet, so you can always ask for less sugar or wait for the ice to melt in your drinks.

mmmmm milky ice drink! The first time I came here, I did not know what to order, and just wasn’t a fan of any of the drinks. Maybe because I randomly chose an odd flavor… Several years later, I decided to come back with another group of friends. They absolutely LOVE this place, but I just could not see why due to my first experience. However, they suggested to get the icy milk drink w/caramel and egg pudding. I gave it a shot, and I fell in LOVE with this drink INSTANTLY!!! When you get this drink, make sure to shake it upside down before taking your first sip. It is sweet and very slushy-like, and you get a bit of the egg pudding as well! mmmm writing about this makes me want to drive out to the city of industry to get one! YUMMMMMM!

Overrated. Over priced. Over sweetened. Tea drinks don’t taste like tea, just a cup of sugary brown liquid. Tea cups look like soup cups and don’t fit in the cup holder in the car. It’s like they tried to be different but totally missed. Good thing the bobas are chewy and the retro décor is cute.

They are famous for your iced milk teas. My favorite drink is the ice milk tea with honey boba. Their drinks can be kind of on the sweet side so I prefer mine with 50% sweetened. These cups are a lot bigger than your typical boba spots. I never bother getting a large one cause I can never finish the regular size one. They have many locations but this one has to be one of my favorites. My drinks are consistently delicious I have never tried this myself so I don’t know if its true or not. People are saying Half & Half is ripping people off by upsizing their drinks. Upsize is about a $ 1 I believe. And its almost the same amount. Check it out on you tube.

The line is usually very low, service is on the slower side, beverages are good enough to keep you coming back if you’re in the area. This place used to be cash only and I am super stoked that during my last visit, they take card now!(Probably shows how infrequently I am here) Their Green Milk Tea with Boba is pretty bland. I think this is one of the only places I’d opt for Milk Tea over Green Milk Tea. Aside from that, I order Hot Grass Jelly most of the time and they let you choose 2 toppings out of a list, but I get two scoops of boba. It takes a while to make, but it does come out hot.

Lines are long, service is slow, but drinks are good. This is more of a grab and go boba place. There isn’t a ton of seating inside(though there are a few tables outside) and their cups are known to be large(doesn’t fit in your car cup holder) which means the game plan is as follows: Option 1: buy drink, enjoy while standing around(or maybe you’ll get lucky and find a table) Option 2: buy drink, drive to destination, THEN enjoy(unless you have a friend to hold your drink for you) Option 3: who cares, just buy the drink and enjoy any way you can: D I go for the Iced Milk Drink with Strawberry, Honey Boba, and pudding: D I like it so much, that I rarely order anything else: P P. S. Get a stamp card if you frequent this place often! :) You can also call in your order!

+ Drink tastes pretty good + Friendly service + Cool décor, very retro — Limited indoor seating — Drinks take a while to come out Came here for the first time with a few friends of mine and I’d say I’m a fan. Just like any other boba spot really. You pop in, order, wait and then receive your drinks. This one stands a bit out with their interior décor though. They have some really cool retro stuff. Things like cassette tape players, old shutter cameras and cool wooden chairs. Cool stuff to look at while you. and yes, you will wait for your drink. Things take a while and I suppose it’s because they’re pretty busy for most of the time. However, I’ve been to spots that were much busier yet pushing drinks out with ease. Either way, this is a pretty cool spot if you’re wanting some Half & Half dessert drinks.

I wrote a formal review for the Half & Half Tea express for their location in Pasadena and this Industry location is more of the same small-bucket sized, top-quality ingredient, wonderfully crafted boba that I crave daily. This location is more crowded than the Pasadena location, and as a result the service seems a bit slower. Again there really isn’t indoor seating if you want to just«chill.» I recommend anything from their«Top 10» Menu and would highly suggest ordering the«Large» because you’re just going to be sad once your drink runs out.

Came to this mainly because of the reviews and hype. The drinks are served in thicker than normal cups almost reminiscent of bowls. Their most famous drink here is the iced milk with caramel, boba, and grass jelly. This was good! Everything in the drink was solid. Iced milk does lack but it is made up for it with all the additions in it. They leak flavor into the drink and make it into a cold/sweet haven. Milk teas are good here too. Their menu is HUGE so make sure to grab one when you walk in and look through all the possibilities. Solid boba spot!

When I have a sweet tooth craving I come here for the iced milk drank with honey boba + pudding! never disappoints. Their pudding is the absolute best and the honey boba always fresh. I’m a fatty so I always get the large cup and usually finish before I make it home hahaha. Their teas are good too but I come here for the iced milk drink. Service is super Asian.
