Their songs were up to date and their drink was okay. The way they charge people(during non happy hour) is $ 38 every person PERHOUR. So check your budget carefully. And the most unacceptable thing is that they included a mandatory 15% tip in your bill. FYI, the only service they did while we were there is to bring us drinks that every person HAVETO order, and of course, they charge the drinks too. Also we’ve wasted 15 minutes of our time in the beginning because they forgot to turn on the system for our room. So, I wouldn’t recommend this place to my friends unless they’ve win the lottery.

Parking: Not bad. There’s an underground parking structure if there are no spots on the ground level. Place: Cool establishment, especially if you get the VIP room at the back. That one’s got a pool table, huge sofa, and a projected karaōke system. If you have a group of 10 or more, that’s the room to lock down. Standard room aren’t bad either, though it does tend to get hot inside the rooms since they only occasionally turn the A/C on. Price: I only go here during Weekend Happy Hour(2pm-8pm on Saturday and Sunday) when it’s ~$ 17 for that 6 hour block. Included in that price is tax, tip(mandatory), and one drink order. It’s a great way to spend a weekend afternoon/early evening with friends. Psong Selection: The touchscreen used to select the songs does take some getting used to, but gets easier after spending a few minutes trying to figure out how to use it.(An instruction manual would be GREAT! [if anyone from this place is listening.]) They do have a handful of current English songs, but oddly, it seems like they’re missing some karaōke mainstays. I guess 98 Degrees«Invisible Man» was an invisible selection, since I didn’t see it on there. I was officially missing Tamia’s «Officially Missing You» since it was officially missing from the list of available songs. And the exclusion of Montell Jordan«This is How We Do It» is definitely not how we do it. Hopefully these songs will be added when we go back.

$ 100/hr for karaōke room. I was expecting big booty hoes dancing on our table tops. Nope, just an L couch section with surround sound, private pool table and outdoor patio. There were no disco balls, strobe lights, smoke machines or service. Not even one naked person or open bar. However, you can bring in your own bottles.

Horrible service. Steep prices. They’ll charge you 15% without even doing anything. Not coming back. And please, don’t even try coming if you want your money down the drain. It’s a total rip off. Imagine, you forcibly have to buy drinks that doesn’t even taste like a real drink. I had to throw mine away because it was so bad. To sum it up, it was horrible. Rooms were nice though, that’s why there’s that one star. But if you can find another karaōke place, then I would suggest going there. Never coming back.

So me, my GF and some friends suggested karaōke and came across this place; at first glance at night it’s pretty cool, the cubes behind the front desk are lit and they have karaōke music already playing which is cool, but in terms of pricing… HORRIBLE, If they didn’t force you to buy something so it supposedly makes the experience better, the hourly rates were insanely high and they make you tip. The reason for the one star: is the initial ambience when you walk in and the rooms appearance but other than that I ain’t coming back I’d rather just go to round 1

Bad communication. I called to see to make sure that happy hour was available. They said yes and I said I’ll be there with another person. I got there and they wanted to charge me for an extra person saying they don’t have a room for 2 when I KNOW they have a rooms. I’ve been going there for years and NEVER have I had that. Go to energy in hacienda. They have a happy hour too and at least they don’t LIE. They’ll be up front with you.

To start off, my group only came here because we close by and decided to give this place a try. WORSTIDEAEVER!!! If it wasn’t for fact that Unilocal lowest rating was 1 star, I would give them 0 stars. Pros: 1) Selection and room set up are nice. For this alone, my overall rating of this place be 5 stars but cons really dropped my rating of this place. Cons: 1.1) 15% service charge(says gratuity on bill), which my group was not informed of until we paying. Apparently they had signs but they made no attempt to verify that we were aware of it, so I think this charge can be legally disputed. 1.2) There is no service other than them bringing your drink that you HAVE to order. Asked the front desk if they could notify us when our hour is up, the guy there said, «No, you have to keep track of it yourself.» So another reason why the«gratuity/service charge» is completely BS. –4 stars 2) They seem to start your time when you come in, not after when they actually put you in a room, set it up for use, and take your order for the drinks you MUST order. -.5 star 3) Each person MUST order a drink(cheapest drink is around $ 3.50). Was informed of this and was kinda ok with it, but still think it was stupid. -.5 star 4) I find the rates to be way too price(which didn’t included the«service charge» they charge you). $ 38 per hr for a group of 3(non-happy hour). Unilocal should display it with«$$$» instead of «$$». -.5 star

Okay. things you MUST know before coming here 1. 15% gratuity is included in ALL checks… and they do jack shit 2. You MUST purchase a drink per person 3. They charge 10 dollars extra for every other person (Ex. 1 – 2 people = 28.3−4 people 38. 5 – 6 .48 etc.) 4. This place got 4 stars cause most of the reviewers were smart enough to go during happy hour. I went for an hour and the bill came out to be 63. LOL??? NOW. had I gone in during happy hour I might have given this place a 4 or 5. I’m giving it a 2BECAUSE I’M A NICEPERSONLOL! Would I ever go back? FKNO!!! !!!

Actually I really like this place, I think it is the best karaōke place in the near area. The room is good, people can adjust the light in here, and they have soft drinks with good taste. The music in here are very new, here doesn’t have so much people.

came during night time. The hourly rate is alright, but more people the better. They require each person to order 1 drink minimum. I will come back during happy hour. The English song selections are pretty updated. The music is not some ripped versions but is actually a real video track. My friend also picked some Korean songs as well that was moderately new. If you are coming with friends who sing other language songs, this place is pretty good.

I only come here Monday and Tuesday for Happy hour from 4−9pm which is $ 12 but with tax and gratuity it’s $ 15. Comes with 1 drink. Not bad for the pricing at all. Otherwise it’s like $ 20+ per hour for all the other times. The private rooms are nice with comfortable couches, wireless equipment, lighting adjustment, and noise control with ample sound barrier so you don’t hear the people next door. Each room the songs are a bit different… same with the sound system and quality. There’s really no service unless you go outside and request for things. The songs are up to date Chinese songs.

Came here with a few friends on a Sunday afternoon. We arrived at the exact time of happy hour which starts at 2pm and ends 8pm. Prices during happy hour were 14/person. Ended up paying $ 17 including tips. I read on the other reviews about forced tipping and… my take on it is that is its perfectly reasonable. I can imagine people leaving large amounts of trash in the room and then not tipping. The workers there were not very friendly. They came into the room with their resting faces and either asked us if we needed anything or to hand us the check. Not a smile seen. 1 complimentary drink per person… with exception of OJ which was $ 1(the one thing I actually wanted). But anyways I like this place because it’s pretty cheap. My friends and I sang for all 6 hours so we definitely made our money’s worth! Located in a plaza where half and half is. Not sure if that helps =‘D…

Nice place inside. But it’s a rip!!! It’s my first time here and I will never come back here ever again! They obligate you to consume in order for you to use the rooms. That’s silly! Oh FYI they charge you tips too!!! Hahahahaha for what??? You haven’t done anything for me to deserve tips! Wtf!!! Plus they charged me 20 min that I haven’t even use! Keep an eye for this place! They charge you for the moment you walk in thru that door. Omg!!! I’m so mad I HATETHIS F*ng PLACE!

I really love this karaōke place. I’ve been to quite a few different karaōke places and it’s always the standard giant remote all in Korean and the videos that play while you’re singing are always really awkward videos of people and water fountains and flowers. This place is really nice because the song selection is all through a touch screen and it’s pretty easy to maneuver. Just search the artist/song you want instead of flipping through several giant books looking for songs you want. I was pretty impressed with the song selection as well, there’s a lot of different artists and even ones that I didn’t even expect to find. Super easy to queue up music as you go. They actually play the music video while you’re singing too! Which is one of my favorite things about this place. Sometimes it will just be a video of the live performances and you still get the occasional awkward flowers and dancing people on the really old songs. But most of the songs we chose had the music video playing! The mics are wireless which is a huge plus! No more tangled wires trying to pass the mic around. The sound quality on the mic is also really awesome. They also have songs in different languages if you’re looking for them. I remember seeing Taiwanese, Mandarin, Korean and Japanese. I know there were a couple of other languages too. :) Definitely go during happy hour. It really saves you money. Monday — Thursday 4 — 9PM $ 12/person and Friday — Sunday 2 — 8PM $ 14/person which is NOT an hourly rate either! It’s also in a really good location with lots of food around you and plenty of parking. The one thing I didn’t like was that they automatically charge you 15% gratuity. No matter what size your party is. Just expect to be charged gratuity. There are a lot of reviews about bad service but I felt like we had really good service when we went. It was really quick and they were nice in explaining how they charged their prices. I don’t think I will go to any other karaōke place anymore. Haha.

Best time to go is during their happy hour from 2 – 8PM. Went on a Sunday and the cost came out to a flat rate of approximately $ 18 per person(includes tax and tip), which includes a non-alcoholic drink. They also have a VIP room, which requires a minimum of 10 people. It is more spacious and includes a pool table and balcony and the cost comes out to approximately $ 22-$ 23 per person(includes tax and tip). Pros: –Decent song selection –Touch screen –Actual music videos to go along with songs Cons: –They charge based on how many people should be in a room on one bill(what happens if people flake out?). I’d recommend having cash on hand as they aren’t keen on splitting checks. –15% auto gratuity Tips: –If you check in on Facebook, you can get 5% off of your bill.

Happy hour rate from 2−8pm on a Saturday was about $ 18/person, plus a free drink. Song selection was decent, having some newish songs, such as John Legend’s All Of Me. Room size was cramped though — the room we had claimed to fit 9 – 12; at 9 of us, there was only just enough room to sit, squeezed into the seats with the coffee table in front of us, and barely enough AC to accommodate us. I appreciated that the lighting was simple and had a fader control — none of that obnoxious neon nightclub party lighting.

I stand by my old review but the service I got this time was a bit friendlier than normal and I love their new song selection system. I’m actually not sure if it’s for every room but the room we got this time(for 4 people during happy hour) had a touch screen selection system that was much easier to understand and use. Happy hour prices are $ 14(not including a 15% gratuity and tax) 4pm-9pm on weekdays and 2pm-8pm on weekends and holidays I believe. This also includes a complimentary drink. You can also check in with 3+ friends on facebook and receive 5% off.

Horrendous pricing. 0 stars if possible. 5 ppl for Friday night, 3 hrs, ended up being $ 205. Wtf? Like many other karaōke places in the area, they require everyone to buy a drink($ 3.50 minimum, which’ll get you a stupid soda that’ll give you diabetes) AND to pay a 15% tip. Wtf kind of shit is that? Why should I have to pay tip for the simple act of giving us drinks? Also the front receptionist ladies are hella bitchy and rude. Ugh P. S. Don’t try to sneak in alcohol, they actually have a bouncer out front who’ll check your any bags and jackets you’re holding. Lameee

I came here for the happy hour special during the weekend. From 2−8pm it was 14 dollars plus you get a complimentary drink. I think its a pretty good deal, the only thing that bothers me is that they automatically charge you gratuity. I can see them doing this if it was a big party of 6 or more, but our party was only 5. They didn’t even tend much to us, so I believe tip/gratuity should be earned NOT forcibly earned. I do like the song choices here, they have most of the current hits as well as lots of old classic songs. They have many languages from Chinese, English, Korean, Vietnamese, Filipino, and Thai. Everything all in a nutshell. I do wish the screen was touch screen, because using the remote and typing was a pain. I felt like I was texting back in college with T-9. If you don’t understand Chinese, it may be a little more difficult for you since most of the workers talk to you in Chinese first and I just look lost, then they ask me in English. Outside of happy hour, I don’t think I would go back. The service was just okay, I’m just glad there wasn’t that much feedback on the mics as other karaōke places that I’ve been to.
