Marsh Supermarkets

I for one, will NOT shop at Marsh or Kroger any longer. I have found that Meijer has the #1 App to help find things in their store. In this fast paced world, people want to go in, get their items and leave. I am baffled why they don’t put a kiosk in every store or locator in their apps like Meijer. As a husband who doesn’t do most of the shopping, I don’t know where everything is, it makes me mad that I have to search the whole store to find one item. Meijer has this capability now in their App! If I can’t find any item, their App will tell me where it is! I will for now on shop at Meijer. I understand the concept of Marsh & Kroger, don’t make it easy to find things, so the customer will browse and buy more than what he came in for. But, this is what is DRIVING ME away from these stores. I don’t have the luxury of spending hours in a store looking for ALL my items. I understand the location is a big deal, for me Meijer is much farther away and Marsh & Kroger is closer. I will gladly travel the extra distance, because their item locator saves me time in the long run. This ONE feature will make me a lifetime customer, AMAZING isn’t it?

Marsh is a good supermarket. They have a good beer and wine section that other stores are just now starting to catch up to with the popularity of craft beers growing.
Depending on the store you’ve chosen, they will have a fairly robust vegetable area and health food area. If you’re looking for good veggies in the winter when the farmers markets are closed, Marsh will have some of the best selection.
Compared to other stores like Meijer and Kroger, Marsh can be a little more expensive to shop at. Marsh is a good complimentary store to have near by. It’s also a great place to go if you just need a few things and don’t want to deal with the huge bumbling crowds at one of the other big stores.
