So a groupon brought me into Lucy’s, and I must say, the food was pretty good. I had the Chicago Dog and fries and it was delicious. The staff was very friendly and prices were reasonable. Although they have bar stools on each side, this is more of a takeout restaurant.
I would give Lucy’s 4 stars if they had better seating. I will definitely eat there again.

I ordered a Chicago style polish and fries. Well the fries were great some of the best I’ve had but the polish was cold. I live about 2 minutes away. I was wondering did the guy even cook it. VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I found Lucy’s on a whim & was overjoyed when I saw the Vienna Dog sign when I walked in. Nice selection of hot dog offerings on the menu. My tastes were pretty simple on my last visit though, so I just built my own.
Very happy with what I ordered– a delicious hot dog, prepared with fresh ingredients, and some of the best french fries I have found in Indianapolis since I’ve moved here.
The service was great. The staff was very friendly and conversational. The place was very clean, and it’s clear that Lucy’s takes pride in their location and product.
I will definitely return, and they are on my short list for the best value and quality in Indianapolis.

I went there for lunch because it is close to work and I had a Groupon. It was so hot in there even with the fan/​ac unit they had in the lobby. I wanted to dine in but I could barely stay in there long enough to get my order. I really felt bad for the guy working that day. His shirt was literally soaked through with sweat. I ordered a philly dog, 2 corn dogs and a chili/​coney dog with fries. The only thing that was halfway decent was the corn dog which was pre-​packaged so kind of hard to mess that up. I only gave 2 stars because of the good customer service while I was there.

Small selection of delicious gourmet hot dogs. All fresh ingredients and authentic styles. I’m particular to the Coney dog (Detroit style) smothered in house chili, topped with fresh diced onion and mustard. Can’t wait to try the others. Staff is very friendly too.

Being from Chicago, it has been difficult finding a quality hotdog shop. This place is pretty good. It is clean, affordable and delicious. I would like to see them put a Chicago dog on their menu though. I saw ever other type of hotdog on the menu though.
