Very fun nightclub! I’ve been going to landsharks for years, and it’s always been a good time. Very fun environment, people are always friendly and in a good mood. It can get a bit stuffy because it’s not a very big club, so it can get really packed and if you don’t like a packed out nightclub then this place isn’t for you. But for those of us who love a crowd, this place is lots of fun! I’d like to mention that landsharks is also very LGBT friendly, Im bisexual and there’s always plenty of bi and les girls to dance with and talk to. I’ve seen gay guys here to on occasion, so its a welcoming nightclub that accepts both LGBT people and straights, always a good time :)

If you are reading this, then you are looking at a review for a bar and nightclub in the middle of a cheap party area where once the sun goes down is known as a place to get drunk, have fun, and make bad decisions. Keep that in mind. That being said, this place is a lot of fun. It’s a big space, especially compared to its neighbors, and it feels a little bit nicer than some of the other dance places in Broad Ripple. It has a couple different full service bars, and plenty of room to partake in whatever activity you feel up for. If you want to dance, then their large dance floor is your spot. If you want stand around a bar and talk to people, you can do it here. If you want to creepily stare at their go-go dancers up on stage or on the bar, you can do that. I’m pretty certain they even have a bottle service area, too. Friday and Saturday night are definitely the most popular and you will find lots of people dancing to the party music that their DJ is playing. They also have quite a bit going on outside of those nights. They have karaōke here on one night, and they even host beer pong tourneys on a different night during the week. They always have some sort of special that will put a drink in your hand for as cheap as any other place in Broad Ripple, and their bartenders are always great and working hard when I am here. On the weekends they have a 5 dollar cover after a certain time. They do have a nicer atmosphere, but I don’t quite know that I feel the cover always feels worth it, but I do enjoy going here more than similar type places without a cover. One final note about something not really related to their atmosphere or bar. I have been involved with a few different nonprofit groups who have planned different events in Broad Ripple, and Landsharks has always been fantastic to work with. They have gone above and beyond on a few different occasions to help make events a success that raise a lot of money for great organizations. If you are on the fence about where to go one night, let that be the reason to swing you towards Landsharks.

Came here again after sooooo many years. I used to come here in my college days before they expanded and doubled their size. The dance floor is now bigger, they have two more bars and also a VIP section. The place still reminds me of the good old days… cheap drinks and good music. That being said, it is still very divey and need something to put it over the top from the slew of bars and clubs in Broadripple. If it wasn’t for the sentimental value of this place… I don’t know if I’d come here.

I think this is a great place to hang! Unfortunately it’s very stuffy and the dance floor is as well. They need a bigger place! But all in all I have always enjoyed my visits to Landsharks!

I have now visited Landsharks on several occasions and can honestly say it isn’t one of my favorites. My boyfriend, his best friend, and I visited just last week on a Thursday evening and the music was crazy loud. Now on a Friday or Saturday night, it would have been really fun to have the music, but it was a bit much that evening. I will say however we had an amazing bar-tender. My boyfriend and his friend have been coming to Landsharks for quite a while and knew her well. She was very attentive and made the most fabulous drinks. I usually order a Jack and Coke… most of the time it has very little Jack and quite a bit of Coke. This time however, I was pleasantly surprised with an actual adult beverage that tasted as it should! My boyfriend was equally pleased with his screwdriver and our friend with his beer. Again, while this is not my favorite bar, I did not have any extreme objections and would be open to visiting again.

I was way too old to be in Landsharks but I don’t care it was still kind of fun. Came here on random Wednesday night because it didn’t have a cover and they were playing music. Was only going stay for a minute and ended up there to after 2 in the morning. Here is the good, cheap drinks, ridiculously cheap for rail, size when they open up the wall and expand to the second bar area you have plenty of room to move around. Staff was also friendly, bartenders made the drinks strong and the dude at the door was friendly. The not so good, nobody there can dance and also the music wasn’t the best, the songs the DJ play match a video monitor above the DJ booth, I don’t believe he is allowed to deviate from the playlist which sucks. All in all, if you’re young, especially college age or right out of college, how could you not like this place. I was already too old for this place and doubt I will be any younger when I return to Indy but I say if you are still young and broke, go drink and be merry.

Horribly lame. In a strip of no cover, this below average place has a cover. It’s ghetto and/or creepy every night. It’s a place to truly avoid.

Landsharks is not a place to spend your whole night. It is the best place to start or end your night. Bartenders are the best in ripple. Dance floor is small but the music is cool. The best night to go is Wave Wednesday.

Landsharks is the best place to go for a night of dancing and fun. The birthday drink bucket is really good! And the bartenders are always really sweet! The Dj plays the best music! SHOUTOUT to Greg the bartender!

CREEPERCENTRAL. Fun place to be stupid and mess with people. Great people watching as well. There’s a bullshit $ 5 cover. I only go when I can get free.

Cheap drinks and laid back atmosphere. There’s nothing fancy about this place. It’s just a nice hangout spot to maybe grab a few drinks in a relaxed atmosphere.

Landsharks has a fun atmosphere. Especially of you are attending a bachelorette party or you are celebrating a 21st birthday celebration. The bars are always packed(all three of them) with amazing bartenders. I love dancing with my friends with the DJ that always takes requests. For all the comments people have bout the patrons seems lame to fault an establishment for allowing everyone in the premise and excluding some just because you think they are«too old» or «too young».

Two stars for the effort I guess… As it was unfortunately not my birthday party evening this past Saturday, I was forced to go with the flow. Call me old and crazy but this place kind of sucks. It’s establishments like this that make me want to make the extra effort to get to Mass Ave for my nightlife ventures. First, I feel ripped off. A cover charge? Please. Second, my sense of smell is that of the average person but I kept getting super strong whiffs of something really gross… like b.o. mixed with puke and poured on a pile of fresh mulch. Not good. Third, why does a rum and Coke cost $ 4.50 from one bartender and $ 5.25 from another? On the up side, compared to say the Alley Cat, the restroom was clean. I know I frequented this joint in my young 20s but now that I am pushing 30 I have no idea what the heck I was thinking.

This place deserves zero stars. It draws the trendiest and most obnoxious crowd in Broad Ripple. Just look at the people standing in their line. Do you want to party with them? If you do, that’s fine. I’m just not in to hanging out with the fake ID crowd. Do yourself a favor, stop being a follower, quit going to bars that play rap«music,» and check out the better spots in Broad Ripple. No, on second thought, don’t. Stay at Landsharks. I’d rather not see you in the truly cool places.

I used to hate going here and it has been several years since I last step foot in here until this past month. It was Friday night, I was back in town and my gfs wanted to meet up here. What’s a girl to do… I was itching to dance after so long. So we met up and it was crowded as usual. I think if it wasn’t for all my friends there, I would still really hate this place. But since our group of 8+ were all having fun. I had a blast. But still, music was on and off good. Didn’t care for people standing around wasting space instead of dancing. Tiny dance floor didn’t help matters. Would I go back? well, only if my fun group of friends come as well.

First: I am too dang old to hang out in Broad Ripple Second: I am too dang old to stand in lines Third: I don’t like Landsharks Whew…now that I got that out of the way I will elaborate. Landsharks is one of those places that I would go to when I was in college. It has all of the elements: cute boys cheap drinks good music lots of drunk people I ended up here with a friend that frequents the place. Against my better judgment I agreed to go after we left the nice Martini Bar. As previously mentioned I stood in line. I noticed that I was the only woman wearing my coat. I mean its 20 degrees outside and these girls were in tank tops! I guess the fear of catching pneumonia is trumped by having to carry your coat in the«club». Well anyway the place is a dump! I am sure that they make tons of money on any given weekend but they don’t put it back into the establishment. The floor was sticky there were empty bottles and broken glass all over the floor. I can’t really speak on the staff because I really only saw tons of people. I know that this place is a money maker and it caters to a younger crowd. I know that I should NOT have had my butt in the place but whatever happened to taking pride in your establishment?

Nap-town, you won’t know what you’ve got until it’s gone! This place is great and if it’s your birthday they give you a free bucket of Hurricane’s. Yes a BUCKET of it, with a straw for each of your friends! I drank that on my birthday one day and was so tipsy I was dancing with guys and girls(Lol). Unlike Hollywood bars and social spots here in Atlanta, Nap-town knows how to have genuine fun, without all the BS! No guns, not too much fighting, security, and simply a good time with friends and alcohol. You come as yourself and no one judges you. I miss Indianapolis so much. Don’t believe the hype about these cities with celebrity parties. They bring a lot of drama, longer lines, higher cover charges, and at the end of the night it wasn’t even fun. At Landsharks YOU can be the celebrity! There is a small stage to clown on, two full bars that provide great service, a mixture of good music, and even areas to sit and watch the shadow box dancers do their thing! Go with your friends and you will have the best time of your life. If you get bored, The Vogue is always right around the corner!

Well, I give it another star because my last trip here was free. But I don’t think it’s that much worse than any other of the like establishments around. They have music video screens at eye level at the bar, which entertained my boyfriend while I was entertaining my too-drunk friend during her birthday festivities last Wednesday. Would I go here on the weekend of my own accord? Probably not.

Broad Ripple’s favorite D-baggery…I mean… Bar. Or not. This place is pretty lame, and it has a major image problem. Some nights it’s super ghetto and other nights just a total creepy-guy-o-rama. The music is tired and usually features hits from high school… no matter what year you graduated. The expansion was a good idea, but the new section which had a chance at class was immediately destroyed and sucked in with the rest of the pit. The music is too loud, there is no place to sit, and really no place to stand, so if you aren’t one of the five weird guys dancing alone on that sorry excuse for a dance floor, you will spend most, if not all of your experience here getting asked to move or just pushed out of they way. So if that is your scene, good for you, you’re probably waiting in that entirely too long line to get awful service and bad drinks… maybe…if you can get to the bar, and if you get there, that doesn’t mean you will get the attention of one of the 3 bartenders there to satisfy the 250 other bar-goers. I can live without it, and so can you.
