This Kroger is really convenient for me to run in and grab a few things. Parking can be a bit hard, but they do have two side lots as well. I love that they have gas at this location. It makes it super nice and easy to get groceries and then use my points to save on gas. Customer service is always a hit or miss. I’ve had some really helpful people and then some who make me feel as though I’m inconveniencing them. I love the wine and craft brew selection they have here. Produce could be better, but it isn’t bad. Overall a pretty nice grocery store

I still like Kroger for a mainstream grocery. I think this is one of the better Eastside locations. It is always busy. Parking is a challenge as the lot is always full. If on the lower East side, I prefer this location for its organization, availability of products, and manageability.

This review is really a 3++ kind of review. This Kroger is our main grocery store, so I’m clearly a fan of it. Some of my thoughts: –Pro: really friendly employees, particularly Dallas at the self check out line and Frank the guy who bags groceries –Con: popular items are out of stock too frequently –Pro: reasonable prices –Con: weird parking lot(I don’t mind walking extra, but logistically the set up leads to crowding and traffic jams) –Pro: pretty responsive management if there’s a particular product you want stocked –Con: not the world’s largest selection of anything(wish there was nicer lunch meat, more in the bulk food section, etc.) –Pro: usually pretty clean, always feel safe, etc. I’ve come here at least once per week if not more for the last few years, so I feel like I’m a fair judge. It’s not perfect, but I’m also perfectly satisfied. If there were a specialty type grocery store nearby, it would probably steal some of my business, but this Kroger meets my needs in general.

This Kroger was really embarrassing. They were out of everything I came for-ground sirloin, Greek yogurt, lunch meat, 12ct eggs, the list goes on and on. Being new to Indianapolis and used to the Krogers in Cincinnati, I was not used to having a dirty, cramped, out of everything shopping experience. Also was hassled for change on the way out which really put a cap on it. Went to the south side Krogers and had a much better experience. Maybe it’s not fair that I’m from Cincy which is their headquarters, but I would be ashamed of my brand having a store like this one.

This used to be an OK Kroger, but the east side Krogers have certainly seen better days. The area needs a spiffed up Kroger like Speedway or Nora or Binford and 71st. Still, this place is always packed.

I visited this store in the evening, and there was only one cashier available to me since I had over 15 items. The woman ahead of me had a large order, and the cashier called the manager to approve her check… and called the manager… and called the manager. We patiently waited, but. No response. Finally another employee went to wherever the manager was and got permission to approve the check. I have never had to wait 10 minutes to check out without another line opening up. This store is obviously mismanaged. Find another grocery,

Pros: — Nicer selection than other Krogers on the east side — Good health food section — Decent produce — Gas station is some of the cheapest gas on the east side Con — Always busy — Staff is not particularly friendly

Make sure you avoid this Kroger around the first of the month b/c it is a mad house and the shelves have been ransacked. I used to live closer to this store and would come here fairly frequently, but not so much since my move to Fountain Square. The selection seems to be about the same. The produce department is pretty decent, but a little small for my taste. I like Kroger’s generics much better than Marsh as well as Kroger’s prices. The employees are friendly and helpful. Another bonus about this store is the location. There is a gas station, Dollar General, post office, CVS, and a new TJ Maxx in the lot.

Thanks goodness for this nice Kroger on the east side! Good selection of fresh produce, herbs, organic, and«health» type foods. They’re undergoing a remodel right now but everything is still available. I like that they sell smaller packages of many of their meats. With me generally cooking for only 1 – 2, I appreciate that a lot. Pretty easy to navigate the aisles as they’re well-labeled, and the employees I’ve interacted with have always been able to show me to a product I’m having trouble finding.
