Four months after purchasing what I thought was a top of the line new Bosch dishwasher(per customer reviews), it started acting crazy: would select its own cycles & not let me modify, the handles which turned out to be silver plastic & not metal, began falling apart from the outside corners, and a few other absurd issues. I called Bosch and they provided me with Mr. Appliance’s info, as their local repair partners. I reached out to schedule an appointment, and while that wasn’t as quick & easy as one would think, once the repairman showed up things started to look up. He analyzed the situation, spoke with Bosch support & advised me of the problem & solutions. We scheduled part 2 of the repair for a couple of weeks later, in order to allow Mr. Appliance to receive my replacement parts. Conveniently, the repairman emailed me the diagnosis & follow-up appointment details on the spot. When the repairman returned as scheduled, the repair went swiftly and neatly. Eventhough the repair was covered under Bosch warranty, I still received a repair confirmation email from the repairman so I could have confirmation for my records. 2 thumbs up for Mr. Appliance! not necessarily for Bosch dishwashers though(but I do luv the 3rd rack & sleekness).

I am biased — I don’t think I’ll ever be happy having to pay a repairman for what in my head is a simple solution! However, I am glad to have my washing machine working properly — I recently moved and had the maintenance company hook up my washer and dryer. Well, my washer would only full with hot water and after attempting to switch the hot and cold, then finally resorting to turning off the hot water heater when it was time to do laundry — decided to call the professionals. $ 221 bucks later(I am all set) — geeze! Let me tell you what I got for my money — replaced the 2 house, added an o-ring, leveled out the machine(one peg was missing), fixed the dryer vent(it was kinked) and switched the hot for the cold water. I think that’s it! But, honestly I’ve had work done before and it is always at least $ 150 bucks. My machine is only 5 years old, and the other company wouldn’t work on it because it was a Bosch. Now, this company does the following service items — a) they wear little booties, they clean up after themselves and they park on the street. The driver called when he was 30 minutes away. He gave me a quote before he started working. And, you sign the little tablet and get an electronic receipt immediately(I love technology).
