First Watch never disappoints, no matter what city or state. The food is always great. Service is always fast and friendly. P. S. — #shoutout to Shaye at #FirstWatch on 86th Street. Your customer service was 5 stars.(Sorry, had to dock you one star for the Day glow, lol)

Stopped in and ate a little breakfast with my Grandpa. The staff and service was superb as they always made sure we had enough coffee and the food came out in a timely manner. It was delicious! I had the eggs Benedict florentine which was vibrant in color and very healthy and tasty. He has the raisin bread French toast and enjoyed it as well. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great café or brunch location. Looking forward to going back again!

This is a place that my mom received a coupon for in the mail, liked it, and has brought family members here on multiple occasions. I’ve been here 3 times, my order has NEVER been correct, and the order has always gone back. The last time I was there, the waitress brought me something entirely different than what I ordered. I was extremely surprised, and I reminded the waitress what I had actually ordered, and after my in laws were done eating, she sat what I ordered in front of me — except I ordered it without tomatoes, and it was coated with them. I smiled and said thanks because I wasn’t going to make my relatives sit there an extra 20+ minutes, especially since I was the last one left to eat. I stopped at McDonald’s on the way home since I was starving. The service is terrible and the food is mediocre at best. Nothing to write home about. This morning I was asked if we could have breakfast here, and I gave an emphatic no. I have never experienced service so bad, and will not return.

I come here every now and again with work friends and have always had a good experience. My favorite meal is the BELT(bacon, egg, lettuce, tomato) with a side of greens(tossed in a balsamic vinaigrette). They have great seasonal selections, too. For the summer, they had an avocado toast with over easy eggs topped with sea salt and lemon zest. It was fabulous. My co-worker always gets the crepes or French toast and raves about them. It’s never busy and the service is great. A nice lunch option on the NW side!

I have been to First Watch several times. Have never had a bad experience. My favorite dish is the Bacado omelette. I keep going back to it. Probably should try something else. I have taken friends and family to First Watch and everyone loves it. Also, great coffee with a variety of flavored creamers.

Got the tri-athlete and it was very good. Was watching my neighbor eat the avo on toast special and it looked amazing. Definitely getting that next time. Had cute little country décor touches too except kinda felt like a Denny’s

My parents took us here on a Monday for brunch, so we had the place more or less to ourselves. The staff were super friendly & kept us caffeinated & watered while we browsed the menu. The options looked amazing, but as I was still gorged from the night before, I went for light but filling & had the avocado toast. It was 1 – 2 avocados mashed with EVOO on wheat toast with a side of «braised» eggs(fancy for over easy). What made it light for me was the lack of meat & cheese, which adorned so many of the other dishes. It was simply superb. Everyone else’s food looked great as well, including the hashes & tacos. I had to resist scarfing everyone’s leftovers, but everyone seems to have left happy. The only dings on this review are(1), also the waitress was really nice & attentive, I’m not a fan of being called«sweetheart» repeatedly by someone a good 20 years younger than me, &(2) being in a strip mall cheapens a dining experience. I know, in my last review I said I don’t like food elitism & there I go expecting a restauranteur to pay higher rent to appease some b.s. sensibility of mine, so take that complaint with a grain of salt.

Absolutely love this place! My wife and I were in town for the weekend, looked to Unilocal for a brunch recommendation, chose FirstWatch because of the positive reviews and couldn’t be happier! Very friendly and prompt service and food was excellent with just the right variety. Highly recommended, keep it up FirstWatch!

A nice little place to grab a quick lunch or brunch while on the northwest side. fast and friendly service. The salads were fresh and the waffle was wonderful. I’ll be back!

My first time with this place, I was on the hunt of a good ol mom and pop breakfast spot and couldn’t find one. Coworkers had mentioned this place, I had the TRI-ATHELETE. The food contained the freshest of ingredients, I will give them that and the food did taste well. For what I was getting I felt that this place was a bit overpriced, that’s what prevented me from giving it 4 stars.

Nice little breakfast spot! Stopped in on a Saturday morning and thought we’d have a long wait and slow service, but ended up with neither! The staff was very friendly and made dining with two young kids much more enjoyable with prompt service and anticipating our needs. I love that they have healthier brunch items, even though we all splurged. My little one and I shared the pumpkin pancakes which were very tasty. It came with chicken and apple sausage which was a nice change from the typical greasy pork breakfast sausage. The other little one had the kid’s chocolate chip pancakes, which had a surprisingly nice crunch(cornmeal in the batter?). It was the perfect amount of food for her. My husband had a skillet which he said was really good. It looked like it was loaded with fresh veggies and I would definitely try one next time. Overall much better than your average chain breakfast spot. I’d definitely go back. Only downside in my opinion is the location since we would have to drive a bit further than I’d like for a weekend breakfast with the family.

Food is decent. A bit overpriced for the quality. I would rather go to the Pancake House a few blocks away. This place is small and is really crowded on the weekends. I think they may be under staffed because the servers only come around every ten minutes or so and they are always in a hurry.

Had lunch here on 10⁄24 SERVICE/AMBIENCE This place is LOUD!!! Also — server was friendly but slow. ENTREE I had the BLTE with tomato basil soup. It was ok — that’s the problem with this place: it’s just ok and entirely forgettable. I ate with 3 friends and they all had the same impression. It’s a place that you would agree to go to but not a place you’d ever ask to go to. PS — two tablemates said the coffee was amazing ;) I don’t drink coffee!

Had a very good experience. The menu had some great offerings, from turkey bacon/sausage to quinoa. The fruit bowl was fresh, and the coffee was hot. They offered flavored creamers at the table too. I ordered the Chickichanga… egg, avocado, chicken, cheese, and a cheesy enchilada sauce on top. Prices were very good too. It’s so nice to find breakfast joints that offer bacon/sausage substitutes for those of us who gave up the ol’ porky pork. We will be back for sure.

Fresh ingredients! Tons of options. I went with as a group of three and we got the chickenchonga, bacado, Acapulco express. We were all very happy with our meals. It definitely has a chain like feel but I was happy with the options.

Overshadowed by a burger joint and a corporate coffee shop, First Watch is getting their groove on all over Indy. They boast a healthier brunch menu with a fresh café atmosphere. It’s a nice change from your run of the mill pancake house. I don’t feel like dying after my meal. Pros — Quiet, quaint café. Great for introverts, like myself. — Nice variety — I’ve tried the bacon & onion hash and the pesto chicken quinoa bowl. Both very yummy! — Fresh squeezed orange juice! For real, this is the shiz. — Swell servers — friendly, always checking if you need something. — Potatoes — just try them. Nomnomnom! Cons — French toast — pretty weak. Thin bread, bland, soggy. Not doing it for me. Really, it’s pretty spot on when we stop for a bite. My husband’s the super picky one, and he’s a fan. That’s something.

Oh First Watch, what have you done with my beloved Breakfast Scramble? I definitely gave this place high marks for food and service months ago. I have no idea what has happened! Today we arrived to an almost empty restaurant, where someone in a chef’s coat greeted us. There was only one waitress working — she said someone had called in sick — and it appeared that only one person may have been in the kitchen. Needless to say, service was not prompt and attentive. I can forgive a little slow service, but what in the world happened to the food and the dishes??? Cold tap water used to come in a round glass bottle with lid, hot syrup was in a pourable container with a handle — not an olive oil dispenser that causes you to burn your hand — and my Breakfast Scramble… what in the world happened there? It used to be scrumptious layers of hearty bread, thin sliced ham, spinach, fluffy eggs, and Hollandaise. Now it’s hunks of ham, with egg and spinach, fried into a flat mess. So disappointing. And don’t even get me started on the cold, non crispy hashbrowns — they used to be so delicious! I hope that they soon realize why they are no longer that busy and bring back the quality.

This is another of several breakfast/brunch places along the stretch of West 86th Street between Meridian and Michigan Rd. Their schtick is healthy, but if that’s not really your thing, they have some greasy spoon fare as well. Service is very fast and friendly(probably because they just opened, but time will tell). Coffee is pretty good as well as the pancakes.

The first two times there I really liked it. But today was bad, our server was BAD! The service was bad… Our food came out cold. Who wants to eat cold eggs and potatoes? Not me… they did remake it. The server didn’t ask my husband if he want a drink when he stop by to offer coffee. We weren’t offered water either. The VA of marketing needs to go back and check on this location. The customer service was not there today or the friendly welcome. Very disappointed.

It brings a smile to my face when I see a new breakfast joint opening up, and lucky for me, this one is close to the office! A co-worker got really excited and monitored the progress of the construction; apparently they already exist in Ohio… My first thought was how clean the place is. If they can keep it looking this nice and clean for another 6 months, then I’ll rule it’s one of the cleanest places I think I’ve eaten at. Kudos to them. let’s hope it just isn’t the«newness» of the place. I stuck to the part of the menu titled«The Healthy Side» and selected the Cranberry Nut Quaker Oatmeal. It was«Made to order with cranberries, Georgia pecans and sliced bananas. Served with low-fat milk, brown sugar and an English Muffin.» YUM! The Oatmeal was covered in cranberries and bananas, and was just what I needed to get my day started. My only suggestion: put it in a bigger bowl for those of us who like to add a lot of low-fat milk to their oatmeal. By the time I got it added, it was pretty close to the top of the bowl and I sloshed a little bit out. The English Muffin was chewy and delicious. It tasted to me like the spread they put on top might have had the slightest hint of garlic to it. Tasty yes, but not what I’d prefer for breakfast. I grabbed a menu on my way out since they offer«to go» ordering. Who knows. maybe the mood will strike me to hit this place up on my way into the office one morning!
