Pier 1 Imports

I enjoy the sales at Pier 1 and try to pick up some stocking stuffers, housewarming and hostess gifts. I love the blend of colors throughout the store but most is a little matchy-​matchy for my home. An occasional toss pillow, candlesticks and candles are always a welcomed addition.
I have purchased several throws, pillows, serving trays and such for gifts. I use many small gifts as name tag accessories especially on Christmas gifts. Today’s mission is to find an unexpected hostess gift for Sunday. Mission accomplished and matches her décor perfectly.
The staff is welcoming, happy to assist customers plus make recommendations if you’re torn between items. Excellent store to get in and out quickly especially if you’re familiar with store layout.

Pier 1 had a great sale, which included 75% off of all Christmas items, 50% off much of their inventory, as well as items marked with clearance prices. As soon as I came in the door, a sales associate greeted me with a smile and with the information about the various sale prices. At that point, she let me look around the store in peace and was not hovering over me, which I enjoyed. I ended up getting a gorgeous cabinet and some martini glasses at a great price, and the staff member was extremely helpful in aiding me with getting the items in my car. Granted, Pier 1 had a great sale in progress, however, many of their items are still quite pricey, which is why I gave them four stars instead of five.

They have nice enough stuff, but it’s always super spendy. I’m more in the camp of hunting down something unusual and not to be found in living rooms across the country, but if you want to fit in, this would be a good place to start. It’s a good place to get cloth napkins and other of that ilk of stuff, but gosh, how many of those can a household use? It’s colorful, and smells good, so it’s still enjoyable to walk through.

Dawn & Chris were so helpfun & friendly, the store was full of things i wanted, like tiny ice cream spoons (seen at Bric’s) or «tasting» spoons, i love spoon, but lots of Glass, Fun shopping
