Not much to look at, but the food is great. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very fast and friendly. My favorites are the Mu Shu Pork and Hot and Sour Soup. The soup has a nice flavor to it and is not the average kill your taste buds with spiciness that you get most places. Egg rolls and fried rice are good, but nothing extra ordinary.

Driving through the southwest side on Kentucky, you might see a kinda seedy-looking Chinese restaurant. You might think that this may be a diamond in the rough, or a great greasy spoon. Nope… it’s a seedy Chinese restaurant with food to match the décor. The counter-service is nice and the people serve you with a smile, but the food is pretty bad. The friend rice is bland, the sweet and sour soup can be accurately described as peppery goo, and the lo mein is nothing special. There are a few high points that save this place from being relegated to the one star list. The fried potstickers are amazing. The prices are also pretty good, so if you’re in the mood for crappy Chinese, you’ll get off cheap.

No no no no no no!!! I made the sad mistake of ordering shrimp curry. they only offer chicken curry on the menu but said they could make it. Well they made it and I came home and was sadly greeted by a sauce best described as citric acid sludge, I swear it was made from the powdered stuff they coat sour candies with. It was horrific. Being so hungry I was forced to run it through a colander with hot water to get the«curry» off of it. Covered it in ground red pepper, red curry I had at home, cilantro and a little bit of soy. Which for the money I’d spent I would have been better off buying a frozen bag of stir fry at Kroger, at least it wouldn’t have still had the hint of sour patch kids lurking in there. I’ve been craving curry all day and the craving is unsatisfied. The little side pack of rice was good and I bet anything else on the menu would have been better, why couldn’t I have just ordered vegetables in lobster sauce or something, anything else? Never Again!

Best fried rice I’ve ever had. Nothing beats Egg Roll King. The portions are great and served piping hot. It’s inexpensive and delicious. The staff is very friendly and courteous. It comes highly recommended.
