Indy Party Rentals

I would not recommend this company to anyone. I requested chairs and tables for an event a week ahead. The day of the event, they called and said they about forgot about the event. I had specifically given them a time for a delivery window that they agreed to. They showed up an hour early and I was not even at the event yet. I had to rush from my house to the location. When I arrived there, the people had left and were not there. I had to wait a half hour before they got there. This interfered with me getting ready for the event and time to arrange everything I had to. The guy dropping off the chairs was dressed poorly and had a gun on his side. This did not look well in a nicer office building and ran a risk of the chairs catching the gun. They originally agreed to be there after the event to pick up the chairs. The guy delivering the chairs tried everything in the world to get out of picking them up. He spoke with his manager and it was agreed still that they would pick up the chairs and tables that night. During the event, they called once again trying to talk me into picking the chairs up on Monday (this was Friday evening). I had made it clear several times that the office building had shared space and since this was in the lobby, this would not be acceptable. They agreed once again to be there to pick up the chairs and tables. After the event no one even showed to pick up the tables and chairs. They delivered 3 different types of chairs with different looks instead of one uniform look. They were also in very poor condition and not aesthetically pleasing for any event. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy. My experience was a nightmare.

this company arrived at my home an hour and ten minutes late. I paid them to rent a bounce house and three tables. they did not bring the tables and refused to go get any. when I called the following business day, no one returned my call. I called back days later and left a message. They never returned my call. they instead sent an email refunding the cost for three tables. I called from a different number and no one answered, but they then called this number back. they refused to refund the delivery fee, even though the delivery was late and incomplete. they also charged me taxes for the undelivered items and refused to refund the taxes.

I was going to use them but because of these reviews I think I will stay away…

Wanted bounce houses and sno-​cone machine for an event. They were supposed to show up on Wednesday night, but called to say they couldn’t deliver till Thursday morning due to the weather. Fair enough.
They were supposed to arrive at 8:15am for a 9:00am event. We called and called and they finally called at 9:20 to say they were running behind. They didn’t show up till close to 10:00 and the bouncy house was wet and dirty. Refused to offer discount or refund for not showing up on time for an event and showing up with a bounce house that we had to clean. Do. Not. Use.

If you cannot go in person the day you want the rental item don’t use them, do not sign anything unless you have the item in hand. They have horrible customer service, days between returned calls, loop holes in contracts and the fact the out and out lied to me mad me irate. I would just recommend any other place, any business that ‘uses’ online options then fails to answer emails, or even phone calls is caveman to me. Go somewhere else. I wish I would have read reviews on here before I let them have my CC info. Thank God, Discover card was on my side and got my money back.

Unless Russian roulette is your favorite game ehh don’t do it! We requested them to deliver a snow cone machine for a company event. They made us hand deliver the check prior to delivery. The day of the event comes & they were supposed to arrive @ 10:00am, 10:15 rolls around they don’t show. We call & call them & they don’t answer & the voicemail is full. Finally we get a hold of someone & ask where they are. The lady stated that the driver didn’t answer the phone while driving. They didn’t show up didn’t call to apologize, didn’t call to say how the money could be returned.

BEWARE!!! This company could not be MORE UNPROFESSIONAL!!! Shame on me for giving them another try after they gave us poor service for 2 events last year. They go under 2 different names, JNL as well as Indy Party Rentals. Once I realized this, they gave me the whole,“we are under new management… blah, blah, blah” so I gave them another shot because their prices were lower than others and they were giving me another discount if I paid in full by the end of that month (don’t fall for that either b/​c they didn’t deliver everything that they were supposed to and haven’t returned any of my phone calls to recover the money we are owed.)
l called 3 different times before our event to confirm the items we were to receive as well as confirm address for the event and set up and take down times. One hour before our 200+ person school carnival was to start I called looking for their driver asking why they were already an hour late. 30 minutes later they showed up at MY HOUSE… not the location of the carnival!!! Finally showed up as carnival was starting and forgot ½ of the items and those which they DID bring were a JOKE!!!
I could go on and on but I think that this review says enough to steer people away and keep in mind that you get what you pay for so don’t let the lower prices lure you in! In the end I am just frustrated and very disappointed. Very thankful that I decided to use 2 different rental companies that day… can’t say enough good things about BOUNCE ABOUT INDY… incredibly impressive, reliable and their rentals were wonderfully clean and new looking — thankfully they were the complete opposite of Indy Party rentals!
This review made me give at least 1 star to submit this review about IPR but they aren’t’ even worthy of that :-(

BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY! I requested the «Wedding DJ Setup» which was supposed to include:
(2) Speakers
(2) Speaker Stands
(1) Amplifier with cables
(1) Wireless Microphone
(1) 2 Channel Mixer for Music & Wireless Microphone
(1) DJ Colored Light
I requested this equipment for my outdoor wedding ceremony. They said they would deliver it to my event location, set it up, and return in 2 hours to tear it down and take it away. I gave them my credit card number, my maid of honor’s phone number first, then my phone number second, as contact numbers. My wedding day came and guess what? They never showed! My bridemaids were trying to call the company for an hour before they informed me that I would not have music for my ceremony because they could not get ahold of this company. I called the company numerous times, leaving messages, with no one returning my calls. The next day, I called and called them– no one answered. I left for my honeymoon and after returning, had to call a few more times before anyone answered the phone. I asked them, «What happened?!» Their response, «The credit card you gave us did not work. We tried calling the phone number you gave us and those didn’t work either.» When I asked what numbers they tried calling or what credit card number they had, and they said, «We already cleared you out of our system, so I don’t know.»
So there you have it! If you want an unreliable company that is not the slightest bit apologetic about their mistake– let alone even admit they made a mistake– call Indy Party Rentals! I’m sure you’ll be greatly disappointed.

Am I a pooper scooper if I dislike balloons? The sounds. The shapes. The killing of birds. They just ring with gluttonous celebration; sure, I’m one for gluttony but I want my gluttony au poivre and spiked with rum; not helium, not latex rubber on a string. Having said all that… I needed some helium and these folks just came through in a jiffy; in fact they were my first google mobile voice search that resulted in a direct business finding (hold iphone to ear, say «helium tank rental indianapolis,» and, bam!, business! But how’d this place come up? Why not like Party Plus? Fine with me… corporate culture doesn’t have shoeless business owners, cute kids with coloring books and dreams of being a princess and a shared office with a printing company that has a worker in a la-​z-​boy in the foiree reading Twilight. Well, this place does. And, I’ll take it. By the looks of this place… they have anything and everything you need for a party: sno-​cone machines with supplies, flags, stereo equipment, balloons and helium tanks. Dunk Tanks. Bounce Houses. They’re a family run business and the upside is they stand by their product. And, they go out of their way for you. Up front, they were willing to come back to the shop if I needed to return it late Friday; instead, they met me mid-​Saturday. Later showed up an emailed final receipt invoice. Good touch. Note: no sign out front… the building is off Sparrow St and the sign reads «Nu Printing.»
