Big Jon’s Used Appliances, LLC

We used Big Jon’s last summer when our oven stopped working. My sister and I noticed a gas smell whenever we used it and it eventually stopped heating. It turned out it needed a new igniter, I believe it was.
Our technician was awesome! He was fast, but did an A plus job. He showed me everything he was doing and gave me a good tip on cleaning out the oven with a vacuum hose. He didn’t even seem to mind the cat «assisting» him while he worked. When he went out to the van to get a part, I caught her being nosy and trying to climb into the oven. I will update this if I can find the piece of paper with his name on it. I think I remember it, but don’t want to get it wrong.
They have reasonable prices from what I recall. It is nice as well that if they can’t fix your appliance, you get a credit towards one from their store. I’d definitely recommend Big Jon’s! Nice neighborhood business. And I love the idea of being able to get used refurbished appliances if you’re in a pinch. The damn things always break at a bad time and a lot of us can’t afford brand-​new these days. Keep them in mind if one of your appliances breaks unexpectedly!
