Holiday Inn Express & Suites Idaho Falls

Stayed here a couple weeks ago on our road trip to Sturgis. This is a great place to crash for the night. It’s clean and located across from a shopping mall and also next to a great diner.

I stay at this Holiday Inn Express whenever I am in Idaho Falls it is clean and comfortable. Also right next to a mall so there are many dining options very close.

Great hotel, comfy beds, reasonably priced.

Perfect hotel, great room, and the front desk staff was helpful. My room was roomy, clean and warm, and the bed is remarkable…5 pillows!!! The bathroom was clean and orderly, and plenty of towels. The hot breakfast in the morning was very tasty and appreciated by this traveler!!!
I stay at many Holiday Inn Express & Suites… this one met my expectations and reinforces just why I stay at the HIX.

Good hotel, with all amenities at reasonable price.

There are a couple reasons why I am not giving this hotel 5 stars:
1. Check-​in took awhile because the three rooms were all under my name and we needed to change two of them to others and it took much longer than it should have.
2. I stayed here one night, checked out, and then came back for the next night. They no longer had my Priority Club points number on record. How do they just disappear like that?
3. Breakfast chairs are getting a bit worn. When you sit in them, you sink and feel the chair structure instead of just a cushion.
Positives about this hotel:
1. I accidentally forgot some paperwork that was very important. When I called them the next day they had saved it (thank goodness) and shipped it to me (charging my account which is expected)!
2. This hotel is 10 yrs old but does not look that old at all.
3. Good beds and love that HIE’s do the firm and soft pillows.
4. Nice bathrooms
5. One of the nights I had a room next to the elevator and never heard the elevator! Big plus!
6. Breakfast was open early which was nice since we had to leave to catch a plane.
7. Near lots of restaurants, shopping and a hospital.
Overall, the negatives were minor so the positives outweigh them. I would stay here again.

My mom and I stayed here for a night due to a doctor’s appointment. We checked in around 5pm and they still had coffee in the lounge/​lobby area that tasted fresh. Great location, just a couple blocks from eateries and the mall, etc. but enough off the main drag.
Nice rooms at this price point.
When I woke up at 7am to drive mom to the hospital I must have had 3 or 4 people greet me with a smile and a «good morning» too bad I wasn’t feeling so chipper. Cereal, fruit, bacon, waffles, yogurt for the continental breakfast. I don’t think there was a restaurant located within the hotel, but there are plenty of options nearby.
Checkout is at noon, which is nice for those of us that like to sleep in.
A really great accommodation for Idaho Falls, if you’re staying for the night, or on business!
