I stayed for 2 nights and for some reason my room was not refreshed after my first night. The breakfast area is my main concern. The worker was singing the entire time I was there, and they were blaring Fox News so loudly that I was not able to sit in the room and eat with my family. The girl servicing the breakfast area kept slamming the door to the back room over and over. It is clear the staff is so self-absorbed that customer courtesy and comfort are not registering on their radar. The singing though! Completely rude and self-centered…why would you think total strangers need to hear you sing? P. S. Hampton Inn… Fox News is a hate organization and their dark spewings are NOT breakfast fodder. 7:30 am November 1st, 2015

We made reservations 6 months in advance for an early flight out of Idaho Falls. When we arrived they said they overbooked and had to go elsewhere. They also did the same thing to a group of business men and several other customers who all had an early flight. After some discussion, they said they would put us up at a partner hotel just as close(within 5 minutes of the airport). After driving for 20 minutes we pulled into a lot, did a search and found a room at a hotel right across the street from the Hampton Inn called le Ritz which was actually very nice. What bothered us the most was that they had our email and phone number since we booked) 6 months in advance. Since they knew they were overbooked well in advance of our arrival all they had to do was call us and help find another hotel. Instead, they waited until customers arrived and left them to scramble to find rooms. This is an indication of poor management and poor customer service. I will only stay at a Hampton Inn as a last resort. They made the ending to our great vacation more stressful than it needed to be.

This is a very nice hotel. It is the first hotel I have seen with plenty of outlets for charging devices. Normally I have to unplug a lamp and plug in my own power strip to have enough room for my devices. Bed was comfy. A/C works well. My one and only complaint is that housekeeping didn’t make it to our room until 4pm which pretty much sucks when you have 2 autistic kids that need some quiet and space. I am not sure if they were just understaffed that day or if the cleaning lady was just really slow(she was quite old so maybe that was it). Overall it was a nice room, a nice hotel, and a nice stay.

I’m giving this 5 stars for many reasons. 1 — The hotel I in general is clean and the staff is very good. Several said hi or acknowledged us add we walked by. The hallway carpets are all very clean and the outside is maintained well. I thought the price we paid was about right. 2 — We really liked the breakfast choices. Normally I’m not a huge fan of the buffet style breakfast but this one stood out to me. The breakfast area is really nice and there was a staff member there making sure everything was filled. She wad very friendly too which you don’t see that often in the breakfast area. She deserves praise. 3 — The rooms were larger than normal and ours was really clean. I’d stay here again just for that. The temperature of the room was about right as well. Nice rooms for sure. 4 — The pool and hot tub were nice. The kids loved it. This was a big selling point for us because the kids really wanted to swim. The pool was about normal temperature wise. The hot tub was really big and the whole area had really nice tile. 5 — The location is really good. Just off the freeway and close to the snake river. If you are in the idaho falls area stop by here and stay, you will like it.

This hotel was a very nice surprise! It was renovated a couple of years ago and the staff have done an excellent job maintaining it and keeping it clean. The rooms are well-decorated with very comfortable beds… You might just find yourself sleeping in a little longer than you had anticipated. :) Check-in was fast, friendly, and east. Rates were affordable — $ 104 on Labor Day. The hotel has a nice pool, hot tub, fitness center, and offers a hot breakfast in the morning. The breakfast is standard continental quality — nothing super fancy, but it’s a nice touch nonetheless. While this is my first time in Idaho Falls, I will definitely stay at this Hampton Inn again if I come through the area. Special thanks to the friendly staff members who are welcoming and knowledgable of the area.

I’m afraid this is a sub-standard Hampton Inn. Our room was freezing(well, 65 degrees) and the wall-mounted controls didn’t work at all well. The room had an «old» feel to it and was poorly laid out. For example, no lights by the bed and the sink was separate from the toilet. This place gives the impression that it was formerly a somewhat rundown hotel that Hampton Inn bought and didn’t refurbish very well. Not a very good experience, I’m afraid.

Best hotel in Idaho Falls. Clean and friendliest staff ever. It was recently remodeled so the place looks and feels great. It was a very fast check in and the room was perfect.
