Tiffany Elie Make Up Artistry

Tiffany did my makeup for my baby shower and she did an amazing job. She created the exact look I was going for and I got a ton of compliments. I highly recommend her.

Tiffany was so much help to me. I very much enjoyed working with her. Her rates are very reasonable and she even called me a couple weeks later after the consultation to tell me about a new natural product she thought I might be interested in. I highly recommend her. I am dealing with middle age droops and skin now and she was very informative and had a very kind and professional manner in dealing with this touchy matter. I’d never been very good with, or into wearing makeup, until I met Tiffany :)
She’s a great teacher, very patient, and showed me just what I wanted to learn.
I’ve had a lot of fun with her and can say that now, at 50, I can do my own eyes.
She also does a great job on my brows!

I have had my makeup applied by many an artist, only to be disappointed by the outcome. No matter how prepared with magazine images, celebrity photos and blanket statements about wishing to look fresh and not too made up, the end result has always been Makeup Face. Disasterous.
Until I met Tiffany.
She sat me down before her vast array of tools and glorious colors with a cup of tea and binder chock full of ideas. She listened carefully to my wishes and by the third sip from my mug, she was presenting me images of What I Wanted. Then she got to work.
I have never looked better. My eyebrows, my eyes, my cheekbones. What’s more, she didn’t layer me up with product upon product. So my skin could breathe! It was smooth and healthy looking too.
I don’t like being fussed over, but under Tiffany’s care it felt more like hanging out with a friend than being under a microscope. She’s amazing.

Tiffany has joined the staff of Flip Salon, a great lil hip salon in Ferndale. I have gone in for several services and special events and have really liked the results.
Some of the things that sets her apart:
— eyebrow system — I wish I could do it justice, but its a great way to get your brows done — its like a stencil almost. Try it. You’ll like it.
— much of her products are Julie Hewett, LA make up line. I have never used them before and bought several and have been very happy with the line.
— special events — she often has special events to get out the most recent lines or trends or basically just for fun. It’s like a girls night out with a bunch of people you don’t necessarily know, but could see yourself being friends with. Very casual, yet trendy and fun.
— she was very helpful in teaching application. I feel like I should know how to apply, but her tips here and there were actually very useful. Because I asked, she did half and I did half — not condescending at all — like it sounds like it might be — just helpful.
