Peking Restaurant

Me not being a huuuuge fan of «Chinese food» this is def one of the best I’ve had!
I don’t live close by so I’m usually ordering with my coworkers. Which all agree it’s the best in flavor and in prices.
My fav is their Hot & Sour Soup. Which is more on the thick soupy side rather then flavored water. It is filled with shredded pieces of Tofu, Onions, Beef, Mushrooms, Cooked Egg, and more.
If you’re looking to unclog your sinuses, this soup will do wonders! Lol
I also like their Crab Rangoon aka Cheese Wontons at most Chinese restaurants.
It’s dough is extremely Thin & crispy compared to the thick &
Doughy ones I’ve had. It is not drenched in oil as well. The crab chunks are visible and flavorful. Must have!
The prices for their lunch special are a little over $ 5 where you can get, a meal, your choice of rice, and an option between a drink/​soup/​or roll. Great meal for your buck!

Used to get our food here all the time. Flavorful. Convenient. Fast.
NEVER AGAIN
We have had a slew of screw ups happen over the course of the last few months. Hair in the food, bug in the food, not the food we ordered, forgetting items. They have never had a problem replacing or delivering what was promised.
Until the other day.
They forgot our 2 Liter free soda and instead of the guy giving it to my son when he returned, he just left it on my doorstep and drove away. If we hadn’t been looking for him, we wouldn’t have noticed it. That delivery guy is always rude, but this was the final straw.
WE WILL NEVER AGAIN ORDER FROM PEKING.

Years later and I keep coming back. The crispiest Sesame Chicken and yummiest dumplings!

Not the best looking take-​out place but very good food. I have never had any problem with the food. I only order delivery and it comes fast. alot of small restaurants have Roaches. As long it they are not in the food, It’s good. I hope they update there look because it will attract new customers.

Peking has been many different names still always as a Chinese food take out place. When it was China Taste it was actually ok and fairly clean inside.
Since it has been Peking for about 4 years now I have seen a horrid downturn of the establishment, and should be pointed out. It’s not clean inside, it seems run down and I’m not trying to take away any credit for the amount of hard work it is to run and maintain a takeout restaurant but please keep the place clean.
Now here’s where it gets horrid, a friend of mine and I ordered some take out since we work fairly close and he was picking it up. I only had a chicken and rice soup so it was basic fair and nothing odd. He ordered a Egg Foo Yong platter, and it actually looked good! Pours on a little gravy eats it no problem. About ½ way into it he was trying to avoid a few of the onions he did not want and then came across a whole COCKROACH!!! Needless to say he nearly vomited, as did I and immediately called the place. A few moments later a delievery man came in and inspected his food took the cockroach with his fingers and sped off. We did not want a refund, or new food but just a acknowledgement of error, there was nothing he just whizzed off.
Needless to even think I have step foot back there and never will as long as it’s the same place. A disgusting experience.
