Sad to say I’m 90% sure we will never go or get takeout from here again. We were told 7:15 pick-up. When I got there they told me another 10 min, that the kitchen was backed up. The restaurant itself was dead. When I go back there is a lady behind me who was also told 7:15& still waiting. While I’m waiting for the girl to come back with my food. The manager or someone was to busy yelling at another staff member saying«how they can take this outside» HIGHLYUNPROFESSIONAL!!! When my food finally comes out. I go to check it to make sure everything is there, & one of my dinners is upside down in the bag. My husband and I come here frequently and get takeout, & we definitely don’t want to come back

Came here since our credit card had a special offer and had never been here so why not. The dyno shrimp was amazing. My sweet n sour chicken was good too. Not the best meal of my life but it was good. I loved my rum punch :) if you want a decent meal come here. Good service and was good.

PF Changs has always been a favorite of mine. I have never had anything bad to say until my visit this past weekend. I went in for a quick bite with a close friend and we sat at the bar area. This review has nothing to do pertaining to the ambiance of the store. because in that aspect it is beautiful! The food quality was also great and up to par with other stores I have visited. However, Our bar dining experience was substandard. Our bar tender seemed to be side tracked and careless. We were understanding that bar tending is tedious but the restaurant didn’t seem to busy? He gave us menus right away but other than that the service was poor. He was in another world. Our drinks were not made correctly as well, they seemed to be watery. While at the bar I also saw a manager ask the bartender to remake a few drinks. This is a family restaurant!!! Please make sure your staff is coherent enough to preform!

Went in on a Saturday night. Several employees hanging out at the hostess station, talking and laughing loudly most time I was there. Another group of employees hanging out at the bar most night. There seemed to be a lot of the employees friends hanging out around the bar area. There was a lot of mess and garbage all of the floor in restaurant and leading into the kitchen. Maybe the staff should spend more time working than hanging out. Waiter took forever to come to the table but when they finally did our orders came out quickly. We also noticed another couple that came in eventually had to ask the hostess for their waiter because they never showed up. Our appetizer was vegetarian lettuce wraps. We discovered a strip of beef on the bottom of the filling after we were almost done with the vegetarian filling. My wife had hot tea. The packages of suger the waiter brought out were hard and crystallized. I haven’t been to a p f chang in about 8 years and their standards have definitely dropped. Even the chairs were soft and felt cheap and uncomfortable. Will definitely be not going back!

First time for my wife. Her Salmon was over cooked but my Dali chicken was good and spicy. When spicy it acts like … a colon cleanse for me. It’s the price I have to pay when liking spicy food. Hot and sour soup was good as well as the spring rolls. Would have given 4 stars if the salmon wasn’t over cooked. Kevin gave us great service.

I have been to multiple P. F Changs before and the service and food have been good(what is expected for a chain restaurant) but I recently went this P.F. Changs and was surprised at how bad the experience was. The service was horrible. It took 20 minutes to get a glass of water! Also, the waiter hardly came over and checked on us. As for the food. The wonton soup and chicken lettuce wraps are always good. We tried a new beef entrée which was okay, we normally get the Mongolian beef which is better. We also tried a new drink which was the berry punch and it was good too. Lastly, when I went to pay I had two P.F. Changs gift cards. The first gift card should have had a remaining balance of $ 5 and the second had $ 50. When the waiter went to use the first gift card there was a $ 0 balance, which was impossible because I had used it a month before at that same location. I finally spoke with the manager and he pulled up the previous transaction and saw that the waitress we had a month before gave herself an extra tip with the remaining balance, meanwhile we gave her a cash tip as well. The manager said«it must have been a communication issue» which I think is total BS. As a manager he didn’t even offer a free dessert or anything!!! THEWAITRESSIS A THIEF! Beware! I would have never realized if I didn’t have another gift card and go back to use it.

I was trying to have a little higher quality Chinese for lunch than the other takeout places on 110 and had heard that P.F. Chang’s was pretty good… well, I respectfully disagree. Basically… food was the Asian equivalent of what you might get at Applebee’s and overly expensive. Quick Points: –I ordered takeout –Service: slow, but friendly staff. I was running 20 mins late after set pickup time and it took an additional 10 mins to get someone to bring my order, appeared disorganized. –Food: not horrible in taste by any means, but very low quality; entire mixture appeared to be the consistency of a do-it-yourself frozen supermarket stir fry [shrimp were small and looked like they had been in the freezer for some time]. -$$/Food ratio: seriously, $ 12.95 for this little portion? Takeaway: don’t go here for takeout; go to one of the local Chinese takeout spots(Jani, Golden Express, etc.). While the local spots are not by any means fantastic, you will get a much larger serving(almost double) of at least semi-freshly procured ingredients for around 50% less $$. *disclaimer: I was really hungry when I picked up the order and was pretty disappointed when they handed it over to me; that may have flowed into this review. Maybe table service patrons have a better experience.

Ok so in general I love me some PF Changs. Although a chain restaurant, the chinese food tastes very authentic and very high quality. But obviously, with the high quality, the prices are higher. My favorite dishes are the dumplings, Mongolian beef, chicken and broccoli and fried rice. The service is great sometimes and okay other times. One time I called to order out and the guy talking on the phone sounded like the happiest most upbeat person ever, which really helped to brighten my day. Another time I was there I saw someone complaining that her soup was not filled enough(her compliant was not very valid) but they did give her a larger size soup upgrade was valid so I thought customer service was great in that case. When I went last I got the Mongolian beef which was supposed to come with white rice. My friend and I also ordered some fried rice as a large side for the both of us. I was surprised when I got my meal and there was no white rice, but I assumed that he wouldn’t charge us for the fried rice and that he had replaced the white rice with fried. Turns out we got charged about an extra $ 8 for a fried rice and never got our white rice!!! I brought this up to the worker and he said that he assumed we didn’t want white rice because we ordered fried rice. I was disappointed that our meal was not complete. I do have a food allergy and usually this is taken care of in a very friendly and respectful manner. I always feel warm and welcome in PF Changs.

My daughter, future son-in-law and I met for dinner here recently. My hubby wasn’t well, but I did end up bringing him some take out, which he did enjoy the next day. A breast cancer promotion was going on, and free samples of beverages, appetizers and fortune cookies(all pink) were being distributed. The drinks and appetizers were delicious. The meals are what we’ve come to expect. I’ve taken my children to another PF Changs for about 17 years. We shared each others dishes(as we always had) and we all left with full stomachs. The only take out was my husbands meal. The atmosphere was intimate and it was wonderful talking to the kids without any loud music, or need to shout(as in some other restaurants). All in all, it was another delightful experience at PF Changs.

The wait staff is fantastic! But the hostess area, has issues. There’s no one here at 6P on a Friday night but the lonely pathetic overweight hostesses sat us at the table right outside the kitchen. Let’s forget the food tasted like the 600 lb. TLC reality star already chewed and spat out our food before serving it to us, other than the spectacular service from our server Skylar, this place is an utter waste of time to whet your appetite with less the service, aside from Skylar, being phenomenally less than stellar and not worthy of the one star I was forced to give it. #rudestaff #waltwhitmanpfchangsucks

I came here with my family of 4 on a Friday night. And let me say right off the bat that I didn’t experience the long wait times and slow service that other Unilocalers griped about. We were seated in about 15 minutes and our food came out relatively quick as well. So now let’s get to that part. We ordered the following: Mongolian Beef — Delicious. I can see why it’s one of their most popular dishes. Chicken Satay — I really wanted to like this more. But the flavoring of the chicken and the sauce was not my thing. I hate to say it but I like the chicken satay at the Cheesecake Factory much better. Lobster Avocado Roll — I love lobster and I love avocado and the dish looked so pretty. But alas, the flavors here with the mustard sauce and everything just did not mesh very well. Kid’s Lo Mein — Yes, I tried some of my kid’s food. It was just okay. A little on the dry side and lacked the bold flavors I’m used to. Maybe it’s toned down on purpose because it’s specifically for kids? And now some miscellaneous stuff. First, I guess I’m used to other Chinese restaurants where they serve you tea for free, not charge you $ 3.50 for a mini tea pot. Second, while the Mongolian Beef was delicious, it was a several pieces of flank steak with green onions in the equivalent amount of a pint at a Chinese restaurant. And what do they charge you? $ 16.50. No doubt, they’re making a killing on that dish. For what they charge and the amount of food I get, I think I’m better off going to my local Chinese eatery.

The food was very average, worse than other P. F changs I’ve been to. I had the shrimp pad Thai which was just average, but did have a decent amount of shrimp in it. The lettuce wraps were sub par. Too much lettuce wrap and not enough chicken. The service was really not good. The waitress was trying her hardest, but in reality I was there on a Tuesday night. The food took forever to come out, probably waited 45 mins. My friend ordered sauce for her chicken and she had to ask 3 times for it. Pretty disappointing. I got the pear mojito, which tasted good but not very strong and was watered down. Overall, I’ve been to better P.F. Changs locations. I wouldn’t come back here anytime soon.

I went for the lunch and had a very slow service experience there. Food came out after the order, about 40 minutes — I understand that it could have been due to early lunch and kitchen wasn’t ready yet. Then the check came in and the waiter was gone for almost 30 minutes!!! Waited around and had to ask other staff to call the guy — another wait and had to get hold of someone else to take the check. Whole stay took me almost 2 hours for the lunch!!! I would understand the slow service if the place was busy, but it was not.

The décor is absolutely beautiful and the establishment looks clean. Nice separate bar with two TVs so you can watch your favorite sporting event. The chicken lettuce wraps are a must try here. By far the best thing on the menu. Plenty to share amongst two, enough for three or four. Prefixe for two priced at $ 40 which to be honest is enough for three(and it includes the chicken lettuce wrap!) Wonton soup is tasty. The wonton itself is meh. But drink up! Skip the sushi. Too much pasty rice and lacks flavor. Seriously. Don’t do it. It’s a real shame that our waitress was so awful. Otherwise it would’ve been the perfect experience. She was not helpful, paid no attention and was just overall so miserable. The other two waiters were super pleasant and helpful. Kept attending to us when we weren’t his table. Will be back for those chicken lettuce wraps — and staying far away from that waitress.

I’m usually pretty generous with the amount of stars that I give but not this time! This restaurant is very nice looking, trendy and contemporary and the food was ok, just ok. But only come here if you have a lot of time to waste. We waited so long for them to take our order and then even longer still to actually get our food. I seriously thought I was on candid camera. And when our appetizers finally came, they were plunked down without any plates so we had to eat off of the appetizer dishes themselves. Then what a surprise, we waited again for our entrees. The waitress didn’t come back to check on us and we had to ask the busboy to send her with the bill. The restaurant was not crowded or busy so there was no excuse for the poor service. Food wise it was just eh. The dumplings were nothing to brag about but the chicken satay was pretty good. The pad Thai seemed like a rough copy of real Pad Thai. Not quite all there. Bottom line, it’s not all that…

Apparently, Unilocal has a word count minimum in order for a negative review to be accepted as a «review.». Otherwise, it gets deferred to «quick tips». That said, I’ll keep it simple: dining at the PF Chang’s in Huntington, New York, was one of the worst dining experiences of my life. As a former national trainer for the company, I can say definitively that I’ve never before witnessed such callous, indifferent behavior among staff member as I have here. Your food will never arrive. Your server won’t care. You’ll talk to six different managers. Then, you’ll walk out, and no one will care still. They’ll pick up your half-full glasses of wine, wipe down your table, and wait for some other schmuck to sit in your seat. Don’t waste your money here. Instead, go to the Cheesecake Factory in the same depressing parking lot. They’ve already mimicked half of PF Chang’s’s appetizers, anyway, and at least they’ll treat you with a minimum amount of decency.

Visit Date: November 2, 2014 I came here for my friend’s party. We were in a big party and the staff handled us pretty well. The food pretty much came out as expected and we all received our orders. The restaurant atmosphere is nice. It’s very classy and clubby, a little elegant. The food was alright. I wouldn’t really complain about but I wouldn’t love it either and I don’t know if I’d come back here of my own accord, I’d probably come back with someone else who wanted to have dinner here. I split the chang’s for two with one of my friends at the party. If you come here on a budget the chang’s for two is definitely the option you should go for. For $ 40 two people get an appetizer to split, a soup for each person, an entrée for each person and a dessert for each person. The dessert included is one of the dessert wontons but if you chose a different dessert they will add on an extra few bucks. I had the egg drop soup, the crab wontons(rangoons), the pad thai and the chocolate peanut butter crunch. I also had dragon oolong tea. The tea was decent, if you order tea make sure to take out your tea bag after a certain point or your tea will start to taste to strong and a little nasty from seeping. The egg drop soup was good, it was different from your normal egg drop soup order. The wontons were okay. The sauce they came in was good and the wonton shells were cooked well but the filling was a little bland. The pad thai was okay. It had a strong citrus taste and the tofu was more processed looking not the tofu I’m used to getting from other places. The dessert was pretty awesome. My verdict is if you come here expect alright food but nothing to write home about, or to write Unilocal about.
