I can honestly say that shopping here was fun. Michelle is AMAZING! I came in not really knowing what I wanted and she looked at a few pictures of things I liked, but none of the dresses wowed me. She pulled 5 gorgeous dresses that were well within my price range… and the fifth one was PERFECT! It fit so well that when I went to pick up the dress, not one alteration was needed! Michelle remembered who I was and knew what dress was mine even though it had been 5 months. Everyone at the wedding day was so helpful and kind that it made the whole experience simply fun. I went to other dress shops and nothing compared!

I still have to get my alterations done, but I bought my dress this week, and I couldn’t be happier. I had the best girl. Her name was Stephanie. She was so patient. I loved her! It was one of the best experiences. :)

One star for The Wedding Day. Just the one because the girls working the counter are sweet and helpful… The business itself practices the dumbest business practices I’ve ever had the dis-pleasure of dealing with. For starters, they didn’t call/email/send a flare, when the bridesmaids dresses were ready. They said that they didnt have enough«time»… Really? You’re a business! Put in the TIME! Then finally… Unfortunately my friendship with the bride didn’t survive her epic case of bridezilla syndrome, so I decided that I would just take the dress I had already paid half for, and just make it into a cocktail dress since it was a very pretty gown… So I e mailed the manager and called the bridal salon letting them know what I was going to do… Lo and behold, no call back and no e mail back from the manager either, so I was wondering what the heck must have happened. I got a text from the bride saying that she was going to pay me for my gown which really confused me, and found out from another bridesmaid that they had released the gown that I’d already put money towards because she«promised» them that she’d pay me back. EXCUSEME!?! Is that how business works these days? On pinky swears??? What SHOULD have happened was the wedding day should have called me, asked me if I wanted to sell my dress to the bride, refunded my money and gotten the payment from the bride. Needless to say Im LIVID, will not be setting a toe in that shop when its time for my wedding, and am planning on contacting the BBB and filing with the Sacramento court system(where I’ve since moved) if SOMEONE doesnt give me my money ASAP! Be prepared to be ignored if you have a problem if you decide to do business with these people!

i’m not sure how i feel about the wedding day. i agree with the reviews that say they are nice up until you pay for your dress. i went through the racks and picked out the dresses i liked and the employee helped me get into all of them. i found«the one» and paid. i came back a couple weeks later for the bridesmaid dresses and once the employee stuck some dresses in the dressing room i never saw her again. luckily we found one that worked and ordered them. when the bridesmaids dresses came in they were floor length but i wanted tea length. the employee who completed the order form made a mistake and pretty much told me it was too bad and my mistake. the manager stepped in and sent all the dresses to alterations to get the length shortened. i appreciated them correcting the mistake but didn’t appreciate the rudeness of the employee who made the mistake. i did use the coupons for the alterations and flowers so they get a thumbs up for that.

The service was good when I picked the dress. It is a nice place and has a great selection. I knew exactly what I wanted and bought it on the day I went in. They told me it would be ready in 4 – 6 months and it took 9, then, instead of calling me, they e-mailed me(at least that was what they claimed) and when I didn’t get the e-mail, it took them another 2 months to call me(with an attitude) and tell me to come get my dress. When I went to pick it up, no vale!!! It took another two weeks for them to call and get my vale sent to the store. Luckily I bought a back up dress after I didn’t get the dress when promised. Just make sure you have at LEAST13 months until your wedding before you order from them. Like most people, they are nice when you pay them, but when there is a problem, it isn’t theirs, its yours!

I don’t know where these bad reviews are coming from and I feel bad for the people who have been mistreated by any bridal shop. I too had a bad experience, at the Dresser in Fullerton and was very unhappy with the way they treated me and when they proceeded to bad mouth The Wedding Day to discourage me from wanting to go. They suggested that I read the customer reviews on line regarding hidden fees and alterations… So I started doing my own research and found a couple bad reviews for the Wedding Day, but I found many more for the Dresser. I called the Wedding Day regarding the comment about hidden fees and expensive shipping and I have no idea where $ 300.00 came from, but the shipping cost is $ 30.00 not $ 300.00, which I found was particularly odd considering that the Dresser recommended I go on line and read the reviews about the Wedding Day and low and behold here are some comments that matched exactly what the sales girl at the competition was telling me… hmmmmmmmmmmm… Coincidence??? I wonder who is really writing these bad reviews, kinda makes you wonder what to believe… So I am going with my gut instinct and I will be making my purchase at the Wedding Day, because so far they have been nothing but nice and extremely informative and helpful. I have phoned them several times prior to my appointment and they have never pressured me to come in or brush me off, they have spent plenty of time assisting me on the phone and answering all of my questions… It is because of that that I am going to happily make an appointment and spend my money there. If they can provide excellent service over the phone, I am sure they will be equally as helpful in person. I encourage anyone who has had a positive experience with this store to write a review for other buyers such as myself to see ahead of time.

If you aren’t getting married. you probably won’t care at all about reading this. but if you are. this might be some help. The good thing is that they have a good selection of dresses from every price range which is helpful if you live in the orange county area and can’t throw down 10 grand for a dress you’ll wear once. but the bad thing is. DONOTLETTHEMALTERYOURDRESS. seriously. they altered my wedding dress… and my mothers dress and it was nothing short of a horrendous job. I took sewing in high school and i sew better then the broad they got working there. we had to take our dresses to another seamstress who luckily fixed both dresses and at 1⁄3 of the price. thinking that was the end of it. i had to battle them to be reimbursed for the crime they committed to my dress(Priscilla of Boston would be furious!) be weary of their hidden fees as well. They will not tell you about the 300 shipping and handling fee. or the 150 fee to press your dress(which most bridal salons include with your dress). not to mention the owner is a royal bitch who was treating her employees like shit right in front of us.
