Alfred Angelo Bridal

This review is not about the new staff that has been hired to replace the misleading sales I was given when I purchased. I will be sure to write a separate review regarding their professionalism kindness, and helpfulness.
Mid last year:
I’m kind of freaking out and feel like I was taken advantage of. I went here early last year just to try on dresses. I didn’t rush into buying a dress I took my time and tried five other places. Came back and kept telling Celeste it was too soon to get my dress, but she kept pressuring me into getting it telling me it would take about six months to get in.
I told her my main concern is that I’m losing weight but my biggest fear was not losing the weight after. Well here I am with a size 14 dress that I cry trying to squeeze into and can’t even squish to get down my body.
But she insisted and I ended up getting it, my fault. Not only that but I was mislead on an additional accessory I wanted added to my dress. A glitter tulle that I was under the impression would’ve come already attached to my dress I paid $ 300 for this addition… they told me they couldn’t refund it since all sales are final, but would give me a credit.
Received a call that my dress arrived and mentioned to them I moved to Sacramento and would need it shipped. Celeste informed me that the glitter tulle is not attached and that she was expecting me to come in for a fitting and have her seamstress attach it, and any additional things that may need to have altered can be. I was concerned about additional cost and she said it wouldn’t cost more than about $ 60-​$ 80. This including by the way my fear of not fitting the size she suggested I order.
«if it becomes a problem it’s the type of dress we can let out and it will fit and won’t cost too much to adjust.»
Well here I am just 97 days and counting and I’m freaking the heck out, loosing sleep and stressing over my dress, not our wedding. Im going to make an appointment with an Alfred Angelo close by to see what they say. I’m crossing my fingers this won’t turn into a mess.

I had such a wonderful experience at Alfred Angelo’s over the weekend! It was the first place I went to try on wedding dresses and I was very anxious going into it. I was worried about finding something I like and that I wouldn’t be able to fit into anything (not a size 6 bride). Marina immediately put me at ease and the second I put on my first dress, I was totally relaxed. She pulled the perfect dresses and listened to what I loved or didn’t love about each dress. She never pressured me to «make the sale» and we had a wonderful time. Even employees just walking by would stop and say what they loved about each dress, making me feel extra special in such a large store. I did end up finding THE dress and was happy to say «yes!» at Alfred Angelo’s that very day.
I also brought all my bridesmaids with me and when I made my dress decision, they hijacked the store and began trying on dresses themselves. Marina was able to immediately pull over another sales assistant to help and within 30 minutes all my girls picked their dresses, were measured, and checked out. I was able to not only knock out my dress, but all 6 bridesmaid dresses — all before noon! What I thought was going to be a stressful day turned into a great one! Thank you to the whole staff, especially Marina for making my special day all that more amazing!!!

I had previously had a horrible experience at another bridal shop so I was extremely skeptical but From the minute I walked in the door she was so friendly and gave me and my guests a warm welcome. She made sure to really listen to what I was looking for and picked out half a dozen dresses right away, it was great! She even went out of her way to make sure all my guests had a place to sit and were comfortable.

She helped me in and out of every gown (some more than once) and was very patient with me. I never felt rushed or pushed into making a purchase. When I tried on the second or third dress I knew it was the perfect one, and so did she! She even helped me with accessories and gave me fake flowers to just envision how it would really look.

After all of that she even helped me look into some bridesmaids dresses and showed me all of the colors they came in.
Michelle went so above and beyond I can’t even describe it all. It was exactly what I needed and she restored my faith and made me so excited about my wedding.

I would like to thank Mary the seamstress at Alfred Angelo. She is a amazing women and does a amazing job. She has a eye for design and she puts a personal touch in every job she does. I highly recommend her to work on your dresses that are purchased at this location. And every employee at this location is very kind and willing to help. Thanks again my daughter in law looked so beautiful.
