This is one of my favorite locations in downtown HB. It’s a hidden gem. A local favorite. Surprisingly good food at reasonable prices. Breakfast is wonderful. Any of the dishes have a Hawaiian slant and exceptional flavor. Try the buffalo wings last night and I prefer them they were the best I ever had. My favorite dish so far is the eggs Benedict but I have barely scratched the surface. Nachos are amazing as well… again a surprise.

Best breakfast in HB!(that serves alcohol). Awesome Bloody Mary’s. My favorite things are eggs florentine Benedict with a side of spam and the macadamia nut pancakes. They recently upgraded the patios. Perfect brunch spot!

I happened to be in the neighborhood with a group of friends and my dog when they suggested we come here for brunch. Why not if they’ll allow my little 3.8lb pup on the patio? We sat down quickly and were able to get service immediately despite the patio being packed. I love a place that is willing to make their dishes healthy or to leave out items I don’t eat or have allergies to. So that being said, I got the breakfast burrito without the meat(since I recently gave up meat,) no avocado, no sour cream. It was delish! I washed it down with some kind of fruity mimosa which was
Now I know why they always want to do brunch here. I’d come back.

Always love this place, but today was especially awesome! Our server Celeste, really made our brunch so enjoyable! I had my dog and she not only showed great service to us, but catered to my dog! It is a seldom occasion to spend time in downtown HB and have a server that is friendly, efficient, and doesn’t act like they are doing you a favor!

Best breakfast in Huntington Beach by far. Try the Breakfast Quesadilla or the SoCal Benedict. On the side I recommend a blueberry pancake or the side of French toast. Seriously love this place!!!

I really wanted a traditional Hawaiian breakfast, that’s what brought me here everything was really good filling and delicious! Nice outdoor seating and fresh air! The portions are pretty big, Just a heads up

Ate here with the Family on Easter Sunday. It wasn’t busy at all which was surprising and we had great service. Had pineapple mimosas and I ordered the waikiki waffle and a side of potatoes. My waffle wasn’t cooked all the way through because it was super soft and really chewy. Kind of disappointing but not a deal breaker! I love the breakfast potatoes. Everyone else enjoyed their food and we had a good time.

Hit this up because they had 9 different benedict dishes. Instead of going through a lengthy critique I’ll bullet point everything. Out of 5 Stars: 1. Service was 3.5 2. Dakine Eggs Benedict 2 3. Kilauea Eggs Benedict 3 3. Bloody Marry 2 4. Mimosa 3 5. Macadamia nut pancakes 2.5 6. Portuguese sausage 1(because it wasn’t Hawaiian style portuguese sausage. This place didn’t «hit the spot» but I guess it got the job done. I recommend heading somewhr else is you want better food.

I would have given this review five stars if it weren’t for the lack of service as soon as we sat down for breakfast. My friend and I arrived here to have breakfast this morning and it was around 10:30am. We walked through to the back patio and took a seat at one of the tables. I would have hoped one of the many waitresses saw us walking through so they knew to bring us water and menus. At least 15 minutes went by and another couple walked in and sat at the table next to us. 5 more minutes went by and the girl sitting next to us went inside to let the waitress knew we were there. Keep in mind there were at least five other tables occupied in the back patio. The couple next to us got service first then me and my friend. This didn’t bother me so much because the guy with the girl next to us reminded their waitress that we got their before they arrived. Thankfully the food is fabulous! I just wanted to give anyone who reads this a heads up to the service in the back. Make sure they know you are there(i know it should be their job). I almost left to go next door, but I love NoKaOi’s food more than Sugar Shack. I ordered the Hawaiian French toast with bananas and blueberries and their famous coconut syrup! And a side of potatoes. I will still come back again and again. Oh and please do something about those horrible wicker chairs in the back! They are so uncomfortable to sit in and leave marks on the back of your legs(especially for girls who wear shorts during the warm months)

Good food and drinks. We had the crab cakes & haole boy burger. Both were really good only disappointed that the burger came with chips instead of fries, but that was the best burger I’ve ever had, definitely going back. We also had a sex on the beach which was really good. Would give them 5 stars, but their service lacked a little, took them a while for the host to come to the door.

Came here for breakfast this morning. I used to frequent this place when I lived on 3rd Street. To this day I still get emails. I got the socal eggs benedict. But with the traditional poached eggs instead of scrambled. It was delicious as always. And the potatoes were on point. Miss this place!

We can back for breakfast and share their special. Yes, the meat is tender and delicious. Pancake is super with coconut syrup. The alcohol is too sweet. I had their happy cocktail before and it was too strong . I think they should spend optimal their alcohol drinks. Worth more money. I had two drinks thus far, one at breakfast(too sweet, too much syrup) and the other at happy hours(too strong). I would definitely come back for breakfast pancake.

*** Should have read the reviews :(*** Came here Saturday morning and they were not busy. Seat yourself. We sat outside but the chairs were super uncomfortable. I ordered the California omelette with potatoes. The potatoes were good but I took one bite of the omelette and immediately regretted coming here. The only reason we ended up here was because we wanted Sugar Shack but realized they don’t serve alcohol. The eggs were dry and everything in the omelette was greasy and tasteless. I would never come here again. Waste of money.

Went here because sugar shack had a long wait for brunch. Instantly sat on the back patio that was outside with shade. I got the california omelette with a side of fruit. It was good, but it is hard to mess up an omelette. Waitress was attentive. Coffee was good. Overall, good for a quick bite to eat without a wait.

First time here and it did not disappoint! Went here for a family breakfast around 9:30am. Was seated promptly. Our waitress was nice and attentive even though it was super busy. We ordered to Loco Moco and the Paniolo’s Benedict. Both were awesome! The kiddies ate their Loco Moco’s all up! The filet mignon was cooked perfectly and just love their breakfast potatoes! Will be sure to come again and try more from the menu!

BEWARE! Terrible food, zero customer service from management. When our food finally arrived my friend found that she did not like her food. It was not edible! She literally had 2 bites(soggy overcooked clumps of rice, who messes up rice?) before flagging our server down to tell her she lost her appetite and to send it back. Mind you, we were very courteous about sending it back. After all, the whole reason why your waiter comes back to check is to see if everything is ok, right? WRONG. Not at this restaurant. The server was very friendly but returned to our table to inform us that the manager would only take care of HALF of the price because we had taken a bite from it. So we asked to please send him to our table and she said he left. He also threatened to call the police if we didn’t pay the other half.(See photo) He was so tacky that he actually listed the comp as POLICE on our tab. That is really no way to run a restaurant. Don’t come here unless you like terrible food that you are forced to pay for with threats. Need I say more?
