This store is, in fact, still open, and is a one-stop shop for all your precious metal needs. From rounds to bars to collectibles, the store is reliable, honest, and competitively priced.

This place is awesome, they pay spot price for your silver coins, bars, and rounds. They do not try to low ball. They are knowledgeable about the industry. On a side note, I brought in silver rounds, sold them at spot price. They accidentally miscounted and shorted me 20 rounds. I had no idea. I believe any other business would’ve just kept it and not said anything. I went back a couple weeks later and they had an envelope with my name on it that had the 300 $ owed to me inside along with the receipt. Very honest and professional. Will recommend them highly.

great place. i would recommend this establishment to anyone. the owner is shy and not very outgoing, and may even come off as rude sometimes. I have found him to be exceptionally courteous and kind, however. other coin stores will make sure to squeeze every last cent out of you if they think that you dont know what youre buying. this man, however has always been very honest and fair. he always charges a fair market price even if its obvious you dont know what a coin is worth and would pay more. I love this place and the owner. best in orange county.

I used to come here with my Dad growing up. My Dad was disabled and couldn’t play sports with me but he liked collecting coins and stamps and things so we went to the Coin Exchange frequently. They have interesting things to check out and bid on, as well as a friendly people working there. I continue to go here every once in a while to buy silver coins. I recommend this place!

I came in to have a coin checked for its value and upon visualizing it Manny was very rude about telling me that it was a fake. I purchased this coin off someone and obviously got scammed so I wanted to know what I should look out for so that this doesn’t happen again. He was rude in telling me the flaws and made it seem like I was trying to sell him a fake when I had no intention on even selling it in the first place. I do not recommend this coin shop because of their horrible customer service.

This is the perfect store to cash in coins. Manny is so nice and knowledgeable. He knows so much about his business. Clean store. Love the chat tables. He has a ebay for coins which is a bidding wall. He gave me a fair price for my collection and I was very happy to do business with Manny. I highly recommend Huntington Beach Coin exchange!

Was just in here about an hour or so ago to get some $ 2.5 gold coins looked at that I recently inherited. Walked in, waited my turn for some old guy in a red shirt to finish up with his customer. The guy in the red shirt(not sure of his name) was totally impolite, and flat out RUDE. Just because I’m a young kid doesn’t mean I don’t know a lot about coins. My dad and I have been heavy collectors since a very young age. ALL he did was weigh the coins, and give me a LOW-BALL price(which I didn’t accept). He then didn’t say anything, not asking if I wanted help with anything else, or any questions, and just walked away and helped an «older» gentlemen. I WILLNEVER go here again. EVER. I’m going to tell my dad, and all of my buddies who heavily collect coins to never visit this store. DONOTGOHERE!

This place is great I had some silver coins laying around the house and decided to see if and what they were worth. I went to two places before HB coin exchange one place was only going to give me $ 50.00. The second place a coin place in Huntington Beach on Edinger was only going to give me $ 80.00 and I had to pay him $ 4.00 just to look at the coins! I know $ 4.00 isn’t much put really? you want to get paid just to look at some coins? When I told him I didn’t want to sell he then raised the price to $ 100.00 that didn’t sit well with me so I said no thanks. I called Huntington Beach coin exchange and they were very helpful and gave me a fair price. No trying to low ball you on the price and it was an easy transaction. I highly recommend HB coin exchange. The are fair and friendly.

Sure, I probably could have cashed in the silver dollars I inherited closer to home, but Huntington Beach Coin Exchange was the place I chose to do business with seeing how they have been in business for 33 years. The shop is clean and the owner was absolutely professional. He even answered a question I had about a piece of silver with a cupid on it. The transaction took less than 10 minutes on a Saturday morning. Their bid board is huge! If you collect, you should check them out.

HBCE is really a great store! I just wish I knew about them sooner. Manny, the owner, is very helpful and friendly. Besides Manny, there’s a coin board where people can bid and offer their coins. You’ll have to pay a small fee, but it’s worth it. This is a much needed coin shop experience in OC. I went a few days ago and learned a lot. I saw a lot of foot traffic in there(which is a great sign). P. S. Jake beat me to being able to write about them first. LOL

I called a few coin shops and most of them were either rude, overpriced or both. I heard HBCE has been around for a long time, the person I spoke to was friendly, they had what I was looking for and the price was competitive.
