Nice open space. Artsy table tops. Local art for sale on the walls. Displayed on multi-colored walls. Service was a tad too laid back. My salad was too spicy. Way too much cayenne pepper. Couldn’t take it anymore. Requested to have a little more lemon juice. It sucked. It was inedible. Disappointed. Good to Go is now good to gone.

Update: we came in for dinner on Saturday, no wait at all! We had the young thai coconut to drink, it is very refreshing on a hot day. They also gave me a knife to scrap the meat off! Our favorite dishes here are the zucchini pasta and the living pizza with red bell peppers, crispy onions, and avocado. We love the peanut butter pie for dessert-it is so heavenly! Everything here is super good and tastes light and healthy. I feel great after leaving this place, full of energy and health. This place must have good karma.

I am sooo glad I decided to drive a little out of the way to get home from work today! Got the green burrito and a coconut chocolate raw vegan cupcake. wow! yumm! I am so glad to find a place I can get real raw vegan yummyness! I used to go to Secret Spot, and their location is way better than Good to go but the workers at Secret spot had one too many massages with ganja oil if u know what i mean. haha. Also, its hard to find gluten free and vegan places. I tried these cupcakes that were gluten free but these raw vegan ones here are seriously amazing! anyways, I will definitely drive a little farther and leave home a little earlier to go here. I cant wait to get a yummy green juice for breakfast some day soon!

This is a vegetarian, vegan(I think), mostly gluten free and sometimes raw restaurant. Raw restaurants can be spectacular i.e. Planet Raw in Santa Monica. For the prices, I think Good to Go is good. I agree with using a certificate otherwise it will run you $ 20 pp for lunch. The nachos are decent, the kale pasta is good. Both these dish would improve substantially if they put more pico, sauce and nuts on the pasta. Their packaged stuff like kale chips and coconut oil are very good. One coconut item that does not work is the soup. It has a heavy coconut oil after taste and the spices don’t mesh well. I would avoid it. The only exceptional item here? The peanut butter chocolate pie — OMG. It has coconut but still works. That lingering coconut oil flavor is not present. It is over $ 8. No, that’s not for the pie, it’s for a slice! If you want a smaller/cheaper serving, you can get it at Mother’s Market for $ 6.

Decided to try this place with a Groupon. Place was nearly empty, but nice and sunny on a weekday early evening. Clean, prettily designed tables, but décor otherwise not so exciting. We were greeted by the cashier/server who immediately offered to tell us more about the dishes when he found out it was our first time. He made me smile when he pointed out that the foods in the display didn’t look as pretty, simply because they didn’t have preservatives. The cold soups sounded good(coconut curry – mmmm!), but then we found out there weren’t any available. He did a fairly good job of describing the foods, and gave me a sample of the cashew«meat» that is used in the nachos. A little too spicy for my girls, so we decided to skip that. We ended up ordering: Collard leaf spring rolls, filled with some sort of nut pâté. This held up fairly well in roll form. The pâté was a bit mushy, but the other veggies helped keep it from falling apart. Served with a salad of greens. Vegan sushi. Also seemed to have the same sort of pâté in it, although I thought the menu said something about«spicy tuna». Yes, it was spicy, but it doesn’t at all resemble the tuna I remember from long ago. Taste of radish, sprouts, and some other veggies. Served with cukes and soy sesame sauce for dipping. Zucchini pasta with marinara. This is the one thing I might possibly order again. The pasta consisted of julienne cut zuke, some the thickness of spaghetti, some still looked like zucchini. The sauce tasted fresh and flavorful. Lots of basil on top, and a vegan parmesan cheese to top. Didn’t try any desserts, although some looked intriguing. All in all, worth trying at least once with a groupon. Maybe it’s that I’m not really a raw foodist, but with their current prices and 1-in-3 chance of getting something that we’ll all like, I won’t be too quick to return. If I do, it’ll be for some soup, or maybe those donut holes.

Service was slow. Bottom line. Place lacks life, feels pretty dead, but maybe bc its a dead plaza. the soup was pretty good, but the rest was just ok. I can go to other vegan/veggies place that have better service and better food for about the same price. I think they need to breath some life into this place and improve the service.

I’ve sinced banned this place! Has nothing to do with the food either which I will miss because it was good. Though the service is always nice and friendly, they take forever even with to-go orders! The whole purpose in calling ahead is to save time and have it ready upon pick up! What’s sad is, they can’t even manage to have my green smoothie ready for pick up and I’d have to wait another 10 minutes after getting there! They don’t seem to have any sense of urgency here! Forget eating in, that takes even longer which is why I resorted to to-go orders — FAILED at that too!

My experiences with Good to Go Restaurants have been unreliable. Some of the staff are kind and friendly, while others are less so. As mentioned in a review from their previous location, sometimes the dressings on the salads change unexpectedly. Sometimes I was charged a mandatory gratuity(for lunch for one, in a café-style restaurant???), and sometimes not. Two things have always been reliable about this place: 1. The food is delicious and healthy. 2. The prices are too high. I do understand that healthy food isn’t cheap to make, and their food is of high quality. If you can afford it, their food is certainly an excellent way to stay healthy in this fast-food world, but no one I know who has eaten there has ever felt the price was right. I would eat at this restaurant far more often if the prices were more reasonable and the overall experience more predictable, because the food is flavorful, and you do feel good after eating it.

The prices really aren’t worth it. The only reason why I’ve eaten there 3 times is because it’s better than the del taco in the parking lot at my work. And i’ve been trying to eat healthier. The grilled portabella mushroom is soooo goood! so is their Tropical green smoothie, but for $ 20 for a sandwich and a smoothie, no thanks! I went risky and tried another entrée on their menu(vegan sushi), It was disgusting. I don’t understand why they couldn’t have just gone with a normal vege sushi. and then I ordered something labeled«pure juice» on their mune that had«apple orange and carrot» as the discription under it. I thought it meant a blend of the three juices, but apparently they just juice one of the fruits in a juicer and serve it. It was GROSS to say the least(and NOT worth $ 5). I felt forced to swallow it because I needed something to wash down the gross sushi and didn’t want to purchase another drink for $ 6. Needless to say, I’ll just bring a packed lunched to work for now on.

Had one of their lavash wraps, was pretty good! This place is kind of overpriced… BUT. Their vegan maple donut holes and coconut cupcakes keep me coming back! Best best ever. I haven’t quite come to terms with their $ 7 peanut butter pie because of the price tag. but one day, I’ll try it.

Best raw food restaurant I’ve eaten at, and I’ve eaten from a handful all over Orange County. The prices are a little higher than some places, but it’s worth it if you have the money and are trying to eat raw yet are having a hard time finding good tasting food. I highly recommend the Dude, their lemonade, the zuccini pasta(w/marinara), and the pizza is my number one favorite!

Good to Go has made some changes since my last review: They have moved to a larger location And They now use raw cacao for their desserts. One thing hasn’t changed: wonderful raw food and I can’t stay away from the place. I need all of you to request the carrot cake(one of the best I have tasted) so they will carry it regularly. We all know that the cupcakes and the peanut butter coco pie are popular, now it’s time to add the carrot cake to the popular list. I tried the burger de not recently and really enjoyed it. I also tried the tuna de not and found it to be okay, but then I am not a fan of pates.

I love this place. My first intro was when I bought a Groupon. I live about an hour away but I had to try it. Today we went back, using a certificate from . The prices are out of my budget and so these options have made it much more affordable. Today we got the Portobello Mushroom Sandwich. Soo yummy, great flavors and it has actual Mozzarella cheese melted in it. The bread was super soft and yummy, however it seems like something that would not carry home well as the yummy juices inside did make the bread a little moist. Overall we loved it. We also shared the«Nachos» on the baked chips. This was sooo yummy, with cashew cheese, walnut meat crumbles and guacamole. So perfect and tasty. To top it off we took home a Peanut butter pie and a chocolate mousse. Both of these desserts are fabulously rich. The pie has a coconut crust and it is such a great desssert. The mousse is not my favorite, for some reason I was tasting coffee, probably not what it was, however I do not like coffee. The texture was thick and creamy and definitely needs to be shared and maybe spread over a couple of days. With our Gift Certificate we paid with 18% tax and tip out the door $ 21. That is a fab dinner out!

Just went to lunch here as I bought a groupon a little while ago. Though the place was cute and the service friendly, the food was mediocre. I asked for suggestions, and the woman suggested their taco salad, mediterranean platter, and pizza. My mom and I go the taco salad, Mediterranean platter, and chocolate bites. At $ 12.99 and 7.49(b/c it was a special, but originally $ 10.99) for the entrees, I thought this place was overpriced and not that great. While I laud the restaurant for making their own hummus, it wasn’t that tasty. And hummus is vegan already, so no big surprise there. The greens in our salads were actually not very fresh — more than a few leaves had yellowed. The flax chips that came with the taco salad were tasty, but I was seriously underimpressed. Go to native foods if you want vegan. If you want raw food, get a salad at any other place and I’m sure it would be a lot tastier and cheaper. I don’t feel like this restaurant was very innovative at all. I’m vegetarian and was not at all impressed. I would have been better off eating at a normal restaurant.

Oh yay good vegetarian food! It’s hard to get good vegetarian food, so I usually go with what I know: Asian vegetarian, but this place does a REALLY good job doing what they do! I had my doubts when I walked into the restaurant, on the outside, it looks like a burger joint! Short review: We ordered the pizza and the Tuna-de-not(not sure what it is but it’s GREAT!). Don’t let the pizza fool you, it’s a flax seed cracker with toppings and sauce. They also serve whole coconut, and I am a huge coconut fan! The waitress(owner?) was really friendly and patient, overall, I will definitely come back again and again.

I’m an omnivore. I’ll eat pretty much anything, especially if your grandmother serves it to me. I’m not sure how soon I’ll be back at Good to Go, despite my giving it four stars. If you are a raw foodist, you must try it(although I’m not sure it’s 100% raw.) If you are a vegan, you should try it(although I’m not sure it’s 100% vegan.) If you are a vegetarian, I’d recommend it to you, but know what you’re getting. If you’ve never had raw food before, it’s probably quite different from what you’re used to. This place is small and quaint, with an unusual selection of music playing(Barry Manilow, anyone?) One has to be careful with what one orders at raw food restaurants. I’ve been to 118 Degrees, which should be named 118MPH for how fast I had to drive home to get to the bathroom. It took us a long time to decide, and the server(owner?) had to ask us on three separate occasions before we finally went with pizza and tacos. These were the two specials, although only pizza was listed as the special of the day. The wine list was exclusively from Trader Joe’s, which I think is cool. My TJ’s Reserve Petite Syrah was good, as was the TJ’s Reserve Sauvignon Blanc. I highly recommend Sonoma Chardonnay, which is very highly rated by the Beverage Testing Institute. I can’t stress enough how different raw food is from«cooked» food. The tacos came in red cabbage«shells». The«meat» was spiced walnuts, and avocado and shredded carrot filled them out. We ordered four, I ate three, and my GF loved them so much that she ordered another. I enjoyed them, too, but not as much as the«pizza». My grandmother would never have recognized this, but I thought it was pretty tasty. It had a «crust» made of seeds and it came with portabellos, red peppers, and avocados. Raw food is actually much heartier than a first-time eater would think. After having had raw food on a few occasions, I’m starting to think that salads might be the safest menu items, especially for neophytes. Basically, the«tacos» would probably fall under that definition. When they try things like faux«pasta» made out of zucchini or other ingredients, they’re probably overreaching a bit. If you’re curious to try raw food, this is definitely the place to do it. If you already know that you love raw food, this is your restaurant. Personally, I don’t know if I’ll ever crave raw food again, but I’m glad I made the trip here. If you eat meat but your dining companion does not, try Native Foods(vegan), Veggie Grill(vegan?), or Valhalla Table(two veggie sausages). Mock meat technology is ever advancing!

I’m really into vegan food, but I decided to give it a try because one of friends recommended it. I must admit the mushroom portabello sandwich was okay, but not for the price that it costs. The only upside is that it’s clean, and the food is fresh, but the sandwich wasn’t that filling. So all in all, food doesn’t equal the amount of money you have to pay out. You should definitely try secret spot if you want a more bang for your buck. Get the turkey swiss.

BF says, «thanks for taking me here, I feel like I’ve bonded with my inner rabbit. Now, can we go to john’s philly grille please?!» First off, I read these reviews but I wish I would have read these: www.yelp.com/biz/good-mood-food-huntington-beach-2 there’s some confusion here. The sign out front now says good to go, but apparently it switched over from good mood food. OK, this was the highest priced health place i’ve been to yet. BF had the«pizza», I had the garden salad, he had a soda(that was some organic bottled brand), and I had iced tea, that had to be brewed hot earl grey tea and then mixed with ice after. $ 31 for this! OUCH. And, no iced tea at a health place?! Strange. I was drawn to the garden salad mostly because it came with sprouts, but when it came out it didn’t have any sprounts. =(BF’s pizza looked like matzah with some veggies on it. It was pretty small. But, my salad was pretty hefty and tasted good. But, really, not worth the money to me. Secret spot over off PCH is way better bang for your buck.
