Good place for vegetarian food. I’ve been here twice and they’ve met my expectations both times. A bit out of the way for vietnamese food but if you’re in the area, you should definitely try it.

I’m not a vegetarian but I’m really surprised that these DELICIOUS foods are vegetarian! I’m going to reiterate what everyone says, the GARLICNOODLEISSOBOMB! My ultimate favorite but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything else. I shamelessly picked from friend’s plate and they all seem pretty good, but the garlic noodle is where it’s at. Honestly, if I could just eat here for every meal of every day, I would have NO problem being vegetarian. Go try! One of the reviews mentioned waiting a lot, and it’s true, you do at times. Hopefully mentioning it here in the reviews will get management to work on that.

I love this place, don’t get me wrong. I would give this place 10+ stars but I just feel like most of the time I eat here, it’s always understaffed. The customer service is always friendly but the wait to order food, get our food, getting the bill, then getting our receipt… takes FOREVER… do not come here if you are in a rush. But sometimes you’re lucky and the food comes out super quick. I would order togo if you can during lunch time but make sure you give them lots of time. I would say 30 minus at least. My favorite dish here is the garlic noodles. They cook it perfectly with plenty of toppings and the garlic isn’t too overpowering. It is a MUSTORDER here. The salt and pepper tofu is good but make sure you only order this dish when dining in and not togo. It gets soggy really quick when you get it togo. Another really good dish is the lemongrass beef vermicelli! They give you plenty of the meat portion and the fish sauce is very flavorful! My friends favorite is the chicken curry. It’s very flavorful. Most of the dishes here are pretty good. I would say this place is one of my favorite vegetarian place!

This is great vegan food. Here you get a full bowl of «duck» soup with yellow noodles and a mushroom broth FULL of delicious vegetables and flavor and they give you a good quantity of «meat» Every plate is around $ 8. And they are all good. Do try the eggplant clay pot & moon crêpe appetizer(best thing there). BUT I had to lower down to one star because you guys REALLY need to get another server. I know you’re getting business now. And I am glad you’re growing! But you would have a better system and more customers if you hired another server. Takes WAAAY too long now. Perhaps you guys aren’t interested in doing so for some reason… that’s fine, but it sometimes keeps us from coming in :(

I’m not vegetarian or vegan by any means, but I Unilocaled«soup noodles» near my boyfriend’s grandma’s house and three vegetarian Asian places popped up and I went with this one. I got the soy beef phở and the soy BBQ pork spring roll– keep in mind, this is my first time getting fake meat– I’m a carnivore for life, but just wanted to try something new. Not a fan of the phở. Broth was sweet as opposed to savory, just didn’t have that deep, healing flavor that I want from phở(I was nursing a hangover). The soy beef was bleh. There was some weird fake meat that was better. Idk what it was, to be honest. The soy BBQ pork spring rolls were really good! I would def order that again. Service was cool, not amazing, not horrible.

I really love the food here, and that’s the only reason I keep coming back. Customer service is great when you are dining in, but they’ve messed up my order twice when I got take out. I highly recommend the fried rice. Their imitation meat is awesome. Their phở is good as well, but I’ve only had it a few times.

First time going to a vegan restaurant. Had this place bookmarked for awhile and kept wanting to try it our during the lent season, but BF wasn’t into trying it. Finally convinced him and came on a Friday night. Every table was filled except for one so we got seated right when we came in. What we got: Mitasie Garlic Noodles($ 9.25): saw pictures so had to try it. When it came out it actually looked like real meat and I thought that was cute. ‘Shrimp’ was pink and white. ‘Beef’ had a funny texture to it, but tasted okay. ‘Fishcake’ was not my kind of thing, I didn’t like it at all. The egg(or tofu?) was bland. Best part was the garlic noodles. It had a good amount of garlic in there, but it doesn’t overpower the dish. I love garlic so I would have wanted more of the garlic taste if I could. Shaking Soy Beef($ 9): doesn’t come with rice so my BF ordered a side of rice for it. It comes on a bed of lettuce, tomatoes, and onion. BF was pretty surprised with the dish. He said it tasted pretty good even though it wasn’t the same taste as the shaking beef he is use to. There was also a light tasting vinegar dressing that I could taste on the lettuce which I liked. Service: Friendly guys serving us. Explained the menu to us and answered any questions we had. Food didn’t take too long to come out. Water cups were refilled before they were empty. Not sure if I’m in to the whole vegan food kind of thing, but maybe I’ll give it another shot during the lent season!

I give this 3.5 stars but since we can’t do half stars I rounded down. Mitasie is like a Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese, American fusion food. Lol! I usually stick with the Chinese or Vietnamese dishes since the owners are Vietnamese, I think. I’ve been going here for a few years now, but not very often. I usually always get the same thing, but sometimes I venture out and try something new. My usual is the garlic noodles, I always sub the faux meats for broccoli. I don’t like to eat faux meats often and the kind that they use isn’t appetizing to me. Maybe if they used Gardein or Beyond Meat I would, but they use some Asian brand(most likely). I’ve had their ramen a few times on cold days when I crave some hot soup, it is just ok. Nothing to write home about. The spicy tuna roll isn’t spicy at all and falls apart when you eat it(I had it tonight for the first time and it kept falling apart and it was also a bit warm), but it was decent though. I come here to support the vegan family business and the garlic noodles are yummy. Oh the garlic rice use to be a favorite but the quality has gone down over the years so I don’t order it anymore. There are bits of rice that are really hard, it’s weird. Such a bummer cuz I use to really like it. The spring rolls are just ok too. A lot of people like them though. I’ve just had so many good ones elsewhere and at home so I guess I could be a spring roll connoisseur.

Came here on Saturday night — a total of 4 in our party. Had a great time and totally enjoyed the food. Staff is helpful, portions are generous and food is delicious. I especially like the fusion options, if someone in your party doesn’t feel like having asian they can have a burger or even pasta! I took off 1 star because they were out of dessert(even though they had placard on the table with over 5 dessert options). I will return for dinner again and hopefully dessert this time!

Full review at I can’t believe it took me this long to discover this little gem of a restaurant; located literally around the corner from me in Huntington Beach, its right next to the PetSmart I take my dog to all the time. Mitasie 3 is a self-proclaimed«Healthy Vegetarian Vietnamese» restaurant serving up completely vegan versions of Vietnamese classics. My colleagues and I stopped in for lunch this past Friday for our«Cultural» lunch and were not disappointed! A small restaurant, the space is bright with Asian décor and a definite feeling of light and freshness. Also cool, they display artworks from local artists that are up for sale! It wasn’t busy when we went and were quickly seated and attended to. The service from there continued to be superb with two very friendly servers making sure that we were happy throughout our experience. Now to the food! On this particular outing, we decided to order a bunch of different dishes and share. We started with two different types of Mitasie’s Spring Rolls. The Jimaca Spring Roll is comprised of steamed jicama, shredded carrots, basil, and soy ham all rolled up into rice paper and served with a spicy peanut sauce. The rolls were tasty light and refreshing, perfect on a warm day! The clear winner of the Spring Rolls, however, was the Soy BBQ Pork Roll. BBQ soy ham, avocado, mint, lettuce, sprouts, and cucumber, again rolled up into the strangely clear rice papers and served with the same peanut sauce. These rolls were slightly hearty and packed the great flavor of tangy BBQ while being contrasted and complimented by the fresh veggies. I would make a meal just out of these and a salad! I actually ordered another dish just for me because, food. I ordered the Thai Salad which was moderately spicy and fully fresh. Mixed greens, carrots, bell peppers, basil, a special Thai sauce, and soy chicken. This salad was a surprising amount of food. The Thai sauce really gave the dish a nice kick and the soy chicken really did look, feel, and taste like chicken! I’d order it again. Next we had the other clear winner of the day, the Shaking Beef. Marinated and roasted soy beef, shallots, tomatoes, peppers, and garlic in a sweet vinegar sauce over a bed of greens. I’ve had vegan chicken that tasted like chicken before, like in my salad above, but never have I ever had a vegan version of beef that tasted legit. Holy Hera! This dish beautifully danced between sweet and savory and was entirely delectable. This is another one I would order just for me next time! We also shared the Salted Pepper Cryspy Soy Shrimp. This baby is spicy! Soy shrimps that have been fried to a perfect and satisfying crunchiness, onions, peppers, and jalapenos. This one just had a great depth of spicy and savory flavor. Plus, it was fried! Get this one too! Lastly, we had sides of the Mitasie Garlic Noodles; spaghetti noodles, garlic, tofu, mushrooms and olive oil, as well as the Garlic Fried Rice. As you might have guessed it, both were very garlicy; and garlicy is good! The noodles can be ordered as a main whereas the rice is a perfect and cheap side order. If you like garlic and need some carbs with your meal, either of these should do nicely! The prices at Mitasie 3 are incredibly fair. You can easily enjoy a nice, healthy meal for $ 10 or under. I am so used to having to pay a premium to eat healthfully that I went into the restaurant expecting to spend more than was actually necessary. How refreshing, no pun intended, to find a place where I can eat well for less! We left full of plant-based deliciousness and with happy hearts. Mitasie 3 is a little hidden treasure in my eyes. The atmosphere is bright and inviting, the service is friendly and quick, and the food is fantastic and equally healthy. I especially love that I have another vegan option nearby when as I begin to order more vegetarian. I hope you make a trip over to Mitasie 3 and enjoy what they have to offer!

This is a review by someone who is a total carnivore So App I ordered the spring rolls. They were different. They put this soy ham? In it. To me it tasted and looked like spam. It was weird. They could of left it out and it would of been ok Main Faux beef phở It had more of the spam stuff and the faux beef was like soft soggy jerky. The broth was sweeter than I have had before. It was okay? I dunno the making the stuff like meat does not work. Plus side I can’t get food poisoning. The thai tea was really good. Meat eaters will not like it. You veggie people will love it. I will stay out of your way.

My boyfriend’s brother was visiting from Florida so we decided to bring him here. Unilocaled this restaurant and thought we would give it a try. It is not hard to find, google map takes you right to the private parking lot. It is a tiny place we had little trouble finding the restaurant once we entered the parking lot. Since it has its own private parking lot, there is ample amount of parking space available. The décor is very simple — paintings all around the restaurants and the lanterns hanging from the ceiling. The place is kept pretty clean — they have booth seating as well ad the regular table and chairs. Our server was really patient with us, wish he was little loud spoken. There were couple times I had trouble hearing what he said or asked, he gave his recommendations to us. There were four of us and we ordered following items. The food proportions are huge here, we still have left overs [lunch for next day!]. The price is reasonable in comparison to the service and the food proportions. — Mitasie Garlic Noodle: pretty much every fellow Unilocaler recommended to try it. According to my taste they were bit dry but then again one can never go wrong with the fresh garlic. — Special Tamarind Pad Thai: probably my favorite food item that we ordered. I love a combination of sour and spicy food so this contained that perfect blend, just add some hot sauce to it and it tasted delicious. — Spicy Curry Soy Chicken: I am usually not a big fan of curries but this one was really good! You need to order an extra side of rice [$ 1.00]. — Thai Soup Special: probably my least favorite item, it seemed little blend to me. My boyfriend liked it though. Overall it was a great meal with reasonable prize. We were there for at least 2 hours and during that time bunch of people came and left — the traffic flow was pretty steady for a Monday night Thumbs Up: Tea Of «Thai» — oh my god, probably the best Thai tea I have ever had so far!!! P. S. I want that CD or the music that was playing at the restaurant. It was basically the instrumental version of all the current hit songs!

So I was being a little selfish by taking my mom out to dinner for her birthday and choosing a vegetarian restaurant, but I really didn’t feel like just having plain ol’ salad… so it was the best of both worlds, veg for me and the hubby and Vietnamese for her! I really enjoyed every dish that we tried! We had the sushi rolls, nem noung spring rolls(super delish… tasted like the real pork ones), fried noodles(my two and four year old gobbled it up so you know it was good), ca kho(very flavorful sauce), shaken beef(sooooo tender and was the closest thing I’ve had to real beef in a long time), and yellow curry. I could have kept ordering but we wanted to save room for dessert. Hubby had the phở which he said was bland, but that’s because mymom has learned to make bomb-ass veg phở at home so nothing compares! Overall, good food, large portions for sharing and decent service. The place us very small so there’s only one server. He was doing the best he could but the place was at full capacity so we had to wait a lot for little things here and there.

My girlfriend wanted something«healthy» so I figured vegetarian = healthy. Upon walking in, the place was a lot smaller than I thought with just a few booths. The décor was cute though. The food was average while the service was the star of the show. Our waitress checked on us often and the waiter always made sure to refill our water cups. The food however, was not up to par. I noticed a lot of Unilocalers raving about the pad thai, so naturally I went for that. Boy was that pad thai sour!!! All I smelled was tamarind, which may have contributed to the sourness. I had a lot of trouble finishing this dish as did my mom. I did like the spring rolls, mainly because their peanut sauce was spectacular with a spicy kick. The garlic noodles were a bit dry, but packed a good amount of flavor. I don’t think I’ll be rushing back anytime soon, but at least I had a «healthy» meal!

Lunch visit: 10÷7÷15(Wednesday) We were the first table to come during lunch, the waiter was okay, very limited interaction with us. Tofu satay vermicelli: good favor to the tofu but no trace of the lemongrass. A hefty amount of vermicelli. I was hoping for a lemongrass flavor with a little more greens. Soy beef vermicelli: same dish as the tofu satay, but instead it was with the soy beef. Same concept: no trace of lemon grass. Jicama spring rolls: as jicama roll as it could get. Carrot(and orange) juice: they stopped carrying orange juice so all I had was carrot. I love carrot juice so I didn’t mind. But it was watered down, and had sugar in it. I wish they didn’t do that… the carrot juice could’ve been its own natural sweetener. So sad. Service: it took awhile for our food to come out. I don’t know how many people they had in the back, but the waiter was just by himself the whole time. By the time we left there was an additional 5 tables, maybe they should hire another helper. Good food, but not as flavored as it’s labeled. Service was okay, I think we just got lucky cause we were the first ones there.

We were looking for a good vegetarian restaurant this evening while shopping at the Bella Terra mall and found Mistasie 3 right across the street! Since the restaurant had 4 stars and many good recommendations on Unilocal we decided to give it a try! Entering the Restaurant i was just blown away by the great artwork of ERICAWOLFSON that gives this restaurant a very arty distinctive ambiance! Just wonder what the name MITASIETRANSLATESINTO? Glad we came before the rush hour and service was prompt and courteous and we did not have to wait too long for our meals! Since everything is made mostly from scratch with fresh ingredients, i do not mind to wait a bit longer for my dishes! Our waiter almost instantly brought us the lemom ice water as soon as we were seated. Ordering from the very extensive menu was not easy because of the many choices! We decided on the jicama roll for an appetizer, was not very impressed! It tasted a bit bland but the peanut sauce was excellent and gave it a little bit of pizzazz! The lemongrass soy beef vermicelli was excellent and i really enjoyed the flaming beef flavor! Very well done! The soy crab noodle soup was my favorite!(bun rieu)! I really enjoyed this soup and highly recommend it! The menu is very extensive and has many great dishes! We will for sure come back for more healthy vegetarian delicious dishes!
